Asia Argento has been fired as a judge on X Factor Italy, sources confirm to The Hollywood Reporter
Audiences will still see her on the first seven episodes of the season, which were already shot earlier this summer, beginning Sept 6. The episodes include initial auditions to narrow down competitors for the 12 final spots.
The live portion of the show will officially begin with a new judge and the main cast from Oct. 25. Sources say that Sky Italia does not want to penalize the 40,000 people who initially attended the casting for one of the final 12 coveted spots on the show. The process would have to be scrapped and started anew if the show cut Argento completely to start casting from scratch.
The news follows allegations in The New York Times that Argento paid a $380,000 settlement to former child actor Jimmy Bennett for a sexual assault in California when he was 17 and she was 37. The age of consent in California is 18. She has admitted to the payout, but has denied all charges.
Italian papers first reported that she has been fired from the show over the weekend.

Alec Baldwin is set to star as Batman's father in the JOKER origin film, according to Variety. Baldwin will play Thomas Wayne and appear opposite Joaquin Phoenix.
Todd Phillips will be writing and directing the film. This Warner Bros. project is separate from the Jared Leto-led Joker that appears in Suicide Squad.
Writing the script with Phillips is Scott Silver. The film will delve into how the Joker became a criminal mastermind.
Also starring in the film is Robert De Niro, who will be portraying a talk-show host who plays a part in driving Phoenix's character to go mad. Also set to be in the film are Zazie Beetz and Marc Maron.

Nothing makes your long weekend ahead like a 30-second song break with Lilbumblebear which starts as soon as I order a pizza from Uber Eats....which was this month's sponsor......

Simon Says.....you got punk'd!

On AMERICA'S GOT TALENT this past Wednesday, Simon Cowell set Tyra Banks up on some blind dates, but then completely sabotaged it by secretly coaching prospects through the date. Check out the video below.
After a record-breaking season 12, summer phenomenon "America's Got Talent" returned on Monday, May 29 with creator and judge Simon Cowell returning alongside Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.

Supermodel, entrepreneur and business CEO Tyra Banks joined the team last summer as host and melded effortlessly with the judges, bringing her unmistakable personal flair and verve to the show.

And here's the clip:

There, you happy now?

Miranda Lambert is single and......you know the rest.

The 34-year-old country music star -- who is divorced from recording artist and "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton -- was speaking to The Tennessean newspaper about her latest collaboration with her Pistol Annies bandmates when she made the comment.
"Since our last record, we've had two divorces, a marriage, two babies and one on the way," the former "Nashville Star" finalist said, referring to herself and fellow musicians Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe.
"Now we've got two husbands, one single and happy, and I just feel like we live such crazy lives."
"That's a lot of life to be lived in just five years between three women, and I feel like we're just telling the story of what all of that is and doing it very honestly."
Lambert admitted her high-profile romances aren't always easy to manage.
"Love is a hard road sometimes and it's been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I'm definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I've had some really good songs come out of it," she said.
"You've got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts."

Viva Warped Wall!

"American Ninja Warrior" presents night one of the National Finals shows from Las Vegas, where the season's top competitors face the world's toughest obstacle course. Ninjas will tackle the first of four separate stages on Monday, August 27 and Monday, September 4. The season finale featuring stages two, three and four airs September 10 (8 p.m. ET/PT). Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila host and Kristine Leahy co-hosts.
"American Ninja Warrior" returned for its 10th season this summer and its seventh full season on NBC.

Snoop Dogg loves to put his name on stuff he enjoys, which makes a fair amount of sense when he’s hosting a game show or selling a line of fancy bongs, and now he’s venturing into a new field of branding with his very first cookbook. This comes from The Guardian, which says the new collection of recipes, From Crook To Cook, will be available in October. The recipes are all explicitly “cannabis-free,” but the publisher promises that they’ll still “satisfy those munchies.” In a statement, Snoop Dogg offered this pretty solid quote: “You know it’s blazin’ up in my kitchen. I’m takin’ the cookbook game higher with a dipped and whipped collection of my favorite recipes, ya dig?”
Rolling Stone has some more information on the specific recipes, saying they range from “classy” (like Lobster Thermidor, the most Snoop Dogg-y of all Thermidors), “stoner-friendly” (like tacos), and even “Snoop Dogg-themed” (like gin and juice). We’re very curious what the other Snoop Dogg-themed recipes will be, since the example they used is the most obvious one possible. Maybe some variation on puppy chow, the peanut butter/chocolate/Chex mixture? He could call it Doggy Chow.

In keeping with America's Got Talent....
Cowell, Who Created the "Got Talent" Franchise, Continues to Serve as Executive Producer
Pact Is Announced as Cowell Is Honored With Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - Aug. 22, 2018 - Simon Cowell, the creator of the global "Got Talent" franchise, the biggest TV format in history and whose opinion on any act can have enormous impact, has renewed his multi-year deal with NBC as a judge on the juggernaut hit series "America's Got Talent."
He'll remain an executive producer on the series.
Cowell became a judge on "America's Got Talent" for season 11 in 2016, joining Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum. His influence on the judges' table is profound and can shape global careers.
"Simon Cowell is an extraordinary showman whose success stories over the years on multiple continents speak for themselves," said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment. "We are thrilled that he will continue as a judge on 'America's Got Talent' and that his stewardship of the franchise will go forward for many years to come."
"Few people have impacted the world of entertainment as significantly as Simon Cowell," said Trish Kinane, FremantleMedia North America President of Entertainment Programming. "He knows what it takes to find and nurture talent, and he knows how to entertain an audience, creating enduring and much-loved formats. We look forward to continuing our creative partnership."
"I want to thank NBC for their continued passion and belief for 'America's Got Talent' over the past few years," Cowell said. "Without NBC, we wouldn't be making 'Got Talent' and I'm very proud to work with them. Together, with a fantastic production team, we have been able to attract the best talent in the world. I'm very excited for the next few years."
