And now , we present a new segment entitled "A Robyn in a gilded Cage", where our own Game show Gypsy queen Robyn Cage does 1-minute covers in our broom closet next to the bathroom across from the old Pepsi vending machine. Today, she'll tackle Metallica.

You Got slimed!

ickelodeon is bringing their signature green calling card to stores, and I'm getting all the feelings. As every '90s kid knows, the network is pretty much synonymous with their iconic green slime, and now they've found a way to bottle the lime-hued substance of your childhood for your next BBQ cookout. Prepare for a heavy dose of nostalgia when you find out where to buy Nickelodeon Slime Sauce ketchup, because it's going to be your go-to condiment all summer.
Nickelodeon has been hard at work bringing back our inner kids this year, with a Nickelodeon eyeshadow pallet (shaped just like an orange cassette tape, of course), and the return of hit trivia series, Double Dare, to the channel. Now, the popular network's latest project is a spin on their infamous green slime, and it's definitely my favorite throwback out of the bunch at just $2.28.
According to Insider, bright green bottles of Nickelodeon Slime Sauce ketchup have been spotted at Walmart stores, and I have so many questions. While the cap is bright orange, the green "slime" comes in a ketchup-shaped clear squeeze bottle so you're hit with both of Nickelodeon's trademark colors at once. For under $3, you can "add some fun to your plate" with a slime-inspired take on ketchup, according to Walmart's website.

Moving on, we actually move on with.....

Alex and the fro

Before you can see the newest version of Double Dare on Nickelodeon, one writer talks about the 1976 version of Double Dare with Alex Trebek. Here's an excerpt on the article:

What’s got endless bushy mustaches, a trio of PhDs, the same theme song as Card Sharks, more light bulbs than General Electric, AND the same exact name of a game show you already know and love????  Double Dare – the little known/loved Alex Trebek hosted CBS game show that lasted only 96 episodes from 1976-1977 that still shines on today in thanks to the fine folks at Buzzr and Amazon Prime!
Ah, the good ole ’70s – when hair was unruly AND ruled, the colors were loud and vibrant (AND AWESOME!!), and everything was so so so groovy, even Alex Trebek! Yep, there was a time before Mr. Know-It-All from Jeopardy! wasn’t so cold and precise (and such a dick). Double Dare puts a more relaxed, kinder and gentler Alex on display, and one you can watch as he grows into the show’s hosting duties, from the very first episode thru #20.

And now some new music from Michelle Creber. Watch and enjoy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rO36jxKuk8&t=5s

That's all for now, but remember one thing: Doesn't Alex Trebek look good in an afro?

So until next time and all the time....play on playas.
