CBS today announced comedian, actor and global superstar Kevin Hart will take on the role of host for the first time in his career with TKO: TOTAL KNOCK OUT, a brand new one-hour obstacle course competition series from executive producer Mark Burnett. The 10-episode series will premiere in summer 2018.
Kevin Hart will also serve as an executive producer.
TKO: TOTAL KNOCK OUT features people from all walks of life where one player races through daunting obstacles while four other contestants are manning battle stations along the course, firing over-the-top projectiles in an attempt to knock them off and slow them down. It's a physical and funny "us versus them" scenario, with the top two players advancing to the final showdown to face off for a cash prize.
"This show is perfectly aligned with my global brand," said Kevin Hart. "The minute Mark Burnett pitched me, I got it and we decided to work together. This show has the potential to make me look tall."
"TKO: TOTAL KNOCK OUT is a larger-than-life competition series that's all about having fun," said Sharon Vuong, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming for CBS. "With Kevin's gift for comedy and passion for fitness, he brings a distinct voice to the show that no one else can."

Kevin Hart has made a name for himself as one of the foremost comedians, entertainers, authors and businessmen in the industry today. He is currently on a world tour doing standup with his newest hour of material titled "The Kevin Hart: Irresponsible Tour." Up next is Hart's feature film "Night School," which he co-wrote, produces and stars in - all under his HartBeat production banner.

Get ready, sports fans, for the most competitive season of "Dancing with the Stars" ever as the show fires up the scoreboard and welcomes 10 athletes to sparkle up their uniforms and lace up their dancing shoes as they ready themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, on the season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars: Athletes," MONDAY, APRIL 30 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.
This season's lineup of athletes includes three Olympic figure skaters, a former Los Angeles Lakers superstar, an Olympic gold medal-winning softball player, a Notre Dame women's basketball national championship hero, an American luger, a gold medal-winning Olympic snowboarder, a former World Series-winning Major League Baseball player and an NFL cornerback.

Jeremy Clarkson is revving to go in the first trailer for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'s revival on ITV.
The Grand Tour host takes a flashy car for a spin before bursting into the studio in style and settling into the hot seat – with the familiar theme tune playing in the background.
Indeed, the classic quiz show is making a comeback just in time for its 20th anniversary, with a special run of seven hour-long episodes that will play out across one week in May.
Clarkson replaces original host Chris Tarrant.
"I have always loved the show and am thrilled to be involved with its rebirth," he said last month when the revival was announced. "I'm a big fan of quiz shows and I'm looking forward to hosting this iconic TV show and hopefully making a few millionaires!"
Just like it worked between 1998 and 2014, members of the public will sit in the hot seat for a chance to win £1 million ($1.4 million give or take). All they have to do is answer 15 consecutive questions correctly – and they will have lifelines including 'ask the audience', 'ask a friend' and '50:50'.
This special revival will also feature "new twists and turns for audiences to look forward to", which is intriguing to say the least..

Paging Dr. Who......


BBC2 in the UK has commissioned a medical quizshow featuring doctors from the country's National Health Service (NHS) as contestants.
Britain's Best Junior Doctors (5×30′) is from ITV Studios-backed prodco Shiver and will pit students at teaching hospitals against each other. Junior doctors will put their skills and knowledge to the test, with comedian and former mental health nurse Jo Brand hosting.
The show will air this summer.
The order follows a raft of commissions for NHS-related programming from the BBC, as the service marks its 70th anniversary this year.
Richard Hastings, creative director at Shiver, said the show would "celebrate" the expertise of doctors "in a new and fun way whilst providing viewers with great medical and health takeout."
It has been commissioned for BBC2 by Kate Phillips, controller of BBC entertainment commissioning, and commissioning editor Kalpna Patel-Knight..

It's sorta like Family Feud's Face off round mixed in with picture questions and trivia questions and even there are questions about the film clips ala History IQ. 2 teams have their own names like live team trivia and the last 2 rounds are like both Auction from Tic Tac Dough and a memory test. They flash at you like Flash Forward from Nick Arcade. Nail all 10 pictures in the bonus game and you split $2500 4 ways. Even though it didn't sell in syndication, Bob Eubanks went on to handle another triva game show....
