NBC has renewed its summer staple for a 13th season, a spokesperson confirmed this afternoon. Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B are all returning as judges while Tyra Banks is also due back as the show's host. A premiere date will be announced shortly. The Peacock also offered the following ratings highlights: · Last summer, "America's Got Talent" averaged a 3.5 rating in adults 18-49 and 16 million viewers overall in "live plus seven day" averages for original Tuesday telecasts, according to Nielsen Media Research. That made it the most-watched season in its 12-year history. "AGT" was easily the #1 summer show in both measures and provided a strong lead-in to the #2 show of the summer, NBC's "World of Dance." · In addition to seeing tremendous ratings growth, "AGT's" 12th season also set massive records across digital platforms, garnering more than 2.6 billion views across Facebook (1.9 billion), YouTube (630 million) and Twitter (81 million) combined. · Season 12 winner was 12-year-old singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer from Oklahoma City. Farmer received the most votes ever for a finale show and dazzled audiences with her performances featuring puppets Oscar and Petunia. · Season 11 winner Grace VanderWaal continues to excel. The 14-year-old singer-songwriter announced today she will be joining Imagine Dragons as special guest on their U.S. tour. Since winning "AGT," she released her debut album "Just the Beginning" and launched her first-ever sold-out headline tour. · Auditions for season 13 of "AGT" are still underway, with open calls being held in Phoenix, Ariz., on Saturday, Feb. 24. In addition, online auditions are open through March 9. Interested acts can submit a video at www.AGTAuditions.com.

On to food stuff.
Bobby Flay is cooking up his own drama.
Last fall, the Food Network fan favorite quit "Iron Chef" in abrupt fashion, ripping off his apron and unveiling a T-shirt that read "THIS IS MY LAST IRON CHEF BATTLE EVER" during a taping of "Iron Chef Showdown."
That sudden quit, he says now, came from pure work overload.
"I've done over 100 Iron Chef competitions and, frankly, they are exhausting. They are exhausting physically but, even more so, they are exhausting emotionally," Flay said on Saturday during the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, according to People.
"When I do a season, I do between six and eight (battles) in a week and it crushes me because it's 60 minutes of pure energy, creativity and execution. And so at some point I was like, 'I've been doing this for a long time and I want to go out on a high note.'"
While Food Network was "not thrilled" at his departure, the chef said he was looking to make "good TV."
Flay also remains deeply entrenched in the cooking channel's programming, with shows including "Brunch @ Bobby's," "Beat Bobby Flay" and "Food Network Star." "I think that Iron Chef is a great place for new and younger people to come on and start taking the reins," he said. "How many times do you want to watch Bobby Flay do 'Iron Chef?'"
With plenty of road left in All Stars' current season, VH1 on Thursday announced the queens revving their engines for RuPaul's Drag Race's upcoming tenth season.
As anticipated, Eureka — who was sidelined in Season 9 due to an unfortunate cheerleading-related injury — will return in Season 10 (March 22, 8/7c) for a second shot at drag stardom. Joining her will be…
* Asia O'Hara from Dallas, Texas — Already a winner of Miss Gay America, this queen also has a costume business, mainly catering to color guard teams and ice skaters.
* Aquaria from Brooklyn, N.Y. — She may be young (21!), but this glamour queen has already appeared in Vogue Italia. * Blair St. Clair from Indianapolis, Ind. — This self-proclaimed "Broadway baby" combines her love of musicals with her love of drag. * Dusty Ray Bottoms from New York City — Within this "dark, glamorous and trashy" punk queen beats the heart of a simple Kentucky girl who moved to the big city to pursue acting. * Kalorie Karbdashian-Williams from Albuquerque, N.M. — This "twerk queen" is apparently best known for her "infectious giggle" and "gravity-defying ass." * Kameron Michaels from Nashville, Tenn. — According to her description, "you're equally as likely to find this tattooed muscle queen down at the gym pumping iron, as you are to find performing at her local drag bar in Nashville." * Mayhem Miller from Riverside, Calif. — Her drag sisters include Raven, Morgan McMichaels, Delta and Detox. * Miz Cracker from New York City — Bob the Drag Queen's daughter! * Monét X Change from the Bronx — With a degree in Opera Performance, she "blurs the lines of comedy, performance and New York City grit." * Monique Heart from Kansas City, Mo. — A "devoted Christian," Monique is determined to be the "heart of Season 10." * The Vixen from Chicago, Ill. — She's known for weaving "political art and protest into her performances." * Vanessa Vanjie Mateo from Tampa, Fla. — Alexis Mateo's drag daughter! * Yuhua Hamasaki from New York City — She sews gowns for Peppermint, Bob the Drag Queen and more! Six-time Grammy Award-winning singer Christina Aguilera joins host RuPaul to kick-off the milestone season 10 premiere of Emmy(R) Award-winning "RuPaul's Drag Race," on Thursday, March 22 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. The season will feature all 90-minute episodes and will be followed by "RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked" after show at 9:30 PM ET/PT.
Let's cut to the chase.
BBC1 has commissioned a strategy gameshow from Argonon Group-owned multi-genre prodco Bandicoot.
Hosted by English journalist and television host Dan Walker, Chase the Case features five players, each given a case containing a secret amount of cash. The contestants answer questions to win visits to a soundproof vault where they learn more about about what's in their opponents' cases.
Never allowed to see the contents within their own case, the 20 x 45-minute series will see players attempting to steal the other's case in head-to-head challenges. The challenger that crosses the finish line first will open their case and take home the cash prize.
Bandicoot's Daniel Nettleton and Derek McLean serve as executive producers on the series, which was commissioned by Jo Street, BBC commissioning editor of entertainment and daytime. The commission marks the first between the recently launched production studio and the BBC.
"The format encapsulates all the drama and tension of a smart strategy quiz show with flashes of reality TV when we get to know our players and their game-plan better in the 'sound proof vault," added McLean and Nettleton in a joint statement. "The show will be high on drama and brinksmanship, with a nail-biting race to get your case across the finish line in every show."
We like Live online trivia games and I'm here to tell you......
The real live online quiz truth in real live online quiz news, suckers!
We start with HQ. While most of us watched the Oscars, HQ broke out it's $50,000 record-breaking game. Over 2 million people played and despite a big slash on birds nest soup, only 6 people split the cash. That's over $8300 to all 6 people. Enough to stack a pantry with birds nest soup.
Meanwhile at Swag IQ, there was an Oscar themed edition of the program and over $3000 was at stake here. Yes $3000. Just 3 people got around....oh let's say, over $1200 swagbucks. That'll make their Swagbucks account happy!
Over at The Q, last night was....well......glitchy. The first game had a few kickouts than your average pro wrestling championship match. But by the 3rd question in the nightcap........it was this..................
Yawn.
Luckily though $500 will be on tap this Wednesday. Let it not be any glitches.
Back to Swag IQ and a few weeks after a 3pm CST timeslot , this came in by Oscar Sunday.
But here's the problem. It's up against Cash Show also taking the same time slot. So........which do you prefer?
And finally, Genius will have March 19th as its promising return date. We don't know how the host will be but we'll keep you posted.
And that sadly was the real live online quiz truth in real live online quiz news, suckers!!!!!
(song stops)
Now we move on to......................
http://www.qwizx.com/gssfx/usa/blockbredring.wav Buzz-GSN where we ask you guys on the GSN facebook page everything and anything.
Jean Heitz will get it going with..........
Get rid of that show "Cash Cab" and put Chain Reaction back on in the day time. If someone likes Cash Cab let them watch at night! There a lot of old shows that are very good to watch!. Put them on!
I agree with you and circle gets the square.
Sue fah......yes Sue Fah says......
"I wish you didn't have all the commercials about sex, my 11 year old granddaughter always say "grandma will you change the channel for a minute, this is embarrassing!"
O..........................k. Moving on to Ronald Bradford and a suggestion.
"My suggestion to improve GSN, which I watch several hours a day,( Never at night) is have about 30 hours less of Steve Harvey. There MUST be some GOOD old game shows to put in your evening time slots."
Wouldn't this be great? On to James Hedrick.
"Hey GSN, can we get Shop 'Til You Drop with Pat Finn and Dee Bradley Baker on to your schedule just in time for 2018 Autism Awareness Month?"
If only. Here's Ann Angelo.
"Why do you have to have Steve Harvey on all evening? How about Newlywed Game, Match Game, Hollywood squares. Steve Harvey is starting to be a pain in the neck with the same shows shown over and over and over again. Put something else on please!!!!"
Agreed. Next is June Dahlheim.
"I am writing to say GSN is my favorite site .. two things ... I love PLEASE put Who wants to a Millionaire on at nite .. My FAVORITE show, busy during afternoon so cant watch much of it .. Also PLEASE put in Winsanity at nite and Card Sharks... Even tho its replays, still a fun show to watch ... also like puzzles on Idiotest but mute is so I dont have listen to Gleib I love Family Feud but not 6=7 hours of .it all evening . Thank you ... will keep watching"
Of course. Susan Morrison says....
"I love watching this channel, however, do we really need 5 hours of Steve Harvey and Family Feud ? Can't you find some other older game shows to put in those spots?"
They should.....they really should. Last one goes to Richard Carl.
"i spent money to watch a large screen tv and turn on game show network to find a color border on each side of tv guess you think this is cool but who ever is running this so called station is a ----- moron maybe janitorial work would suit you better"
Must be the size of the broadcasts that are vintage.
Time for a Gamestop Game Break. Here's one question that aces every SAT test: Can You.....Sqramble This?
Hint: This Sucks.
