Madison: Some members of our viewing audience will receive.....

Starbucks Coffee, where the biggest escape from the snow is getting either a blonde espresso or if you live somewhere warmer for the winter, an iced blonde americano, all from Starbucks. Now back to our warmer weather wonder,  Pierre Kelly!

Me: Thank you Madi and welcome back. Was there a bomb threat in Hawaii? We'll examine it later on.

But don't be a devil on this story.

Turner's TBS has renewed the hit unscripted series' Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild and Drop the Mic for second seasons. The network re-launched its unscripted business in 2017 with the re-imagined, classic game show reboot and the celebrity-led rap battle competition. They soon emerged as the top two unscripted cable comedies in 2017, reaching an average of 2.5M viewers per episode across TBS's linear, VOD, and digital platforms and have earned over 200 million social and Youtube views to date. Drop the Mic climbed digital audience score rankings week over week, holding the #1 spot three weeks in a row, based on all prime-time comedies that aired new episodes.

"Our relaunch of TBS' unscripted efforts hit the ground running with the series premieres of Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild and Drop The Mic, and we never looked back," said Michael Bloom, senior vice president of unscripted and specials for TBS and TNT. "And Season 2 is going to be filled with next-level celebrity beef under the guidance of Method and Hailey, and much, much higher stakes courtesy of some extra Snoop-a-fied gaming led by the Dogg himself."

Snoop Dogg, who counted The Joker's Wild as his favorite game show growing up, hosts the TBS version, Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild, set in his very own casino that includes an oversized slot machine, giant dice and playing cards. Snoop-a-fied questions and pop culture knowledge rule the floor with all the action controlled by the one and only Snoop D-O Double G. Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild is produced by Sony Pictures Television, in association with Turner's Studio T. Snoop Dogg serves as executive producer, along with two-time Emmy(R) winner, Super Bowl Champion and Good Morning, America co-host Michael Strahan. Also executive-producing are Vincent Rubino, Constance Schwartz-Morini for SMAC Entertainment and Ted Chung for Merry Jane.

Drop the Mic is based on the enormously popular segment from the Emmy(R) winning and viral hit The Late Late Show with James Corden. The TBS series is hosted by Method Man and Hailey Baldwin and pits celebrities from the worlds of entertainment, music, sports and pop culture to face off against each other in a rap battle royale packed with lyrically creative genius and "I can't believe they just said that" moments. At the end of each head-to-head battle, the studio audience votes to determine the winner. Drop the Mic is produced by CBS Television Studios and Fulwell 73 Productions. James Corden, Ben Winston and Jensen Karp serve as executive producers, with Joanna Gallagher as co-executive producer.

Both series will return in the Spring of 2018.

Looks like you missed a spot.

Nickelodeon’s Double Dare was probably the slipperiest, sloppiest, and slimiest game show in TV history, an iconic piece of the network’s identity that showed a generation of kids and families how much fun it can be to put on a jump suit, answer some trivia questions, and just dive headfirst into a big, snot-filled nose or whatever. Now, though, Nickelodeon has announced a new game show that is essentially a rejection of everything Double Dare and Nickelodeon itself once stood for. In other words, as horrifying as it sounds, it’s literally a show about staying clean.

Titled Keep It Spotless, the show will be hosted by difficult-to-see wrestling man John Cena, and a press release says it’ll be about “kids competing in a variety of physical and paint-filled challenges” where the goal is to not touch any paint. At the end of each round, some kind of machine will scan each kid and scientifically determine how much paint got on them, with the winners being the ones who stayed the cleanest. Clearly, “PC culture” has finally gone way too far.

In addition to hosting Keep It Spotless (which will premiere later this year, Cena will also appear on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a bad guy named Baron Draxum, and he’ll host the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards in March.

File this under......Yawn.

What does one have to do to get a two-year renewal for their syndicated game show? Funny You Should Ask.

Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios today handed just such an order to its daily series hosted by Jon Kelley. The move will keep the show on the syndie airwaves until at least the 2020-21 season, which will be its fourth. By then, the series will have produced 520 episodes.

“Funny You Should Ask is growing rapidly in all key metrics,” Allen said. “This comedy game show is perfectly positioned for long-term success.”

Executive produced by Scott Satin, the half-hour Funny You Should Ask features a panel of professional stand-up comics who interact with contestants for cash and prizes. The stakes increase in every episode as the game progresses. The strip is cleared in 93% of the country including the top three markets: New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Because a very cheap program can be a hit. Moving on.....

24% of Bartenders have had to do this for a customer- What is it?

Put your thinking skills to good use after a Google Play music interlude as our own Insta-bombshell Cindy Melissa Boisvert tackles.......ZELDA!!!!!!

So......24% of bartenders had to do this for customers. The answer: Take away their keys. Unless you want to call for a bus somewhere.

Behold. The hallway of horrors. A place of rats.....mice......spiders.......ghosts.....and................this.

The $1000 Bee. A spelling bee that was on the Black Family Channel. A knock off of BET, TV One and Centric in one......you know. The first game involves spelling as many words as possible in a short time frame. Then another lightning race, but with 2 players in a buzzer to buzzer showdown. Next up, the Bee Scramble round and this round calls for torture. While the players use refrigerator magnet letters to scramble up to 3 words, the annoying theme stuck in your head is playing. Does that add up to excitement?

No.

Oh, and to give it a "reality" aspect, you must use one of the words in a sentence.......to 3 judges. Did they come from an elementary school for this? Survivor went on to the story round in which a player had to use all 5 words......to make up a story the writers came up with. Since it was a tournament format, the grand prize was.........................$1000. Faint yay.  BTW, the host was........and don't think about goggling it..................Sinatra Onieyewacki.

There.
