Me: Thank you Stephanie Panisello and welcome to the program that offers more game shows than reindeer games, Game show Live! As jolly as it gets, as merry as it happens and as toasty and warm whenever you feel Fa-la-la-la-like it.
Today's program is presented this month by Hobby Lobby. Did you know that they sell visual lighting? True dat. So get to Hobby Lobby today and make your house look so cool. Let's guide our little sleigh with......
Kinda creepy-ish, but.....you get the idea as to why it is......because GSN turned 23 last week. That's right, GSN, the 1st game show network and the only true Game Show network we loved back then, sported the Jordan number in the red and black. Their present to the viewers is 5 hours of Feud. Yippee. I guess. 5 back-to-back-to-back hours of Steve, the whole Steve and nothing but Steve. Why? because GSN wishes they had something else. Really. And as for Idiotest......
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbusENG6hCE
It's gone. Harvey Feud is the replacement for the event. So that means you get to either stay up and watch it or........just turn it off and doze off and pretend this didn't happen. But the big news is.............
Millionaire returns to GSN for the first time in a long time. This time, the Harrison version will be in effect. Last time the show was on the network was the Viera version. It still does in syndication. Chris Harrison still does it. Also, that little B&W overnight stunt will be in there but only for this month. Happy Jordan Number, GSN! Lesser feud in 2018!!!!!!!

Supermarket Sweep. The fans should've wanted it on GSN at first, but Buzzr heard what the fans said and acquired it. A popular Cable favorite, the show has 3 teams play in a supermarket where anything goes. Buzzr has set a date for January 15th. Yes, January 15th. Get psyched!!!!!!!!
Two of America’s most popular gameshows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, will be inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Broadcasting Hall of Fame at the new 2018 NAB Show Achievement in Broadcasting Dinner on Monday, April 9 in Las Vegas.
The two syndicated hits have produced a combined 13,000-plus episodes. They are both produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios and distributed by CBS Television Distribution.
“Broadcast television is home to America’s most beloved programming. Both Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy have stood the test of time and represent the enduring power of broadcasting,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Television Marcellus Alexander. “NAB looks forward to honoring these legendary shows and their iconic producers and hosts in April.”
Reaching more than 25 million weekly viewers, Wheel of Fortune reaches more viewers than any other program on television. Created by Merv Griffin in 1975 as an NBC daytime show, it is based on the game Hangman. Wheel of Fortune is currently celebrating its 35th season of syndication and is trademarked “America’s Game.”
Pat Sajak began hosting Wheel in 1981 when it aired on network daytime television and continued through its syndication in 1983. Since then, he has earned three Emmy Awards, a People’s Choice Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Vanna White quickly became a household name when she was named co-host of Wheel in 1982. Since her debut on the show, she has become a Guinness World Record Holder as “Most Frequent Clapper” and has also earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Both hosts have been with the show through its entire 35 seasons in syndication.
Currently in its 34th season of syndication and with 23 million viewers a week, Jeopardy remains one of television’s top-rated quiz shows. Jeopardy has received numerous awards and distinctions, including a 2011 Peabody Award and the 2017 Emmy for Outstanding Game Show.
Alex Trebek has hosted Jeopardy since its debut in 1984. He has won five Daytime Emmy awards for Outstanding Game Show Host, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Trebek has hosted more than 7,600 episodes and is honored with stars on both the Hollywood and Canadian Walks of Fame.
Harry Friedman is the executive producer of both Wheel and Jeopardy. He is also a 15-time Emmy winner, a Peabody Award winner, a three-time Guinness World Record Holder and has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from NATAS. Friedman is known for creating innovative game elements and incorporating the latest technology. In September 2006, both shows made television history when they became the first syndicated programs to broadcast in high definition.

Finally, android fans like myself are excited for this:
It seemed to arrive out of nowhere, but since launching as an iOS exclusive app in late October HQ Trivia has been growing in popularity day after day, a dozen questions at a time. The app live streams a trivia game show right on your phone daily, giving you a chance to answer 12 questions correctly for a chance to win real cash. It's free to play and broadcasts live twice a day on weekdays and once on weekend and holidays.
Now, it appears folks behind HQ Trivia are ready to bring the trivia fun and excitement to Android, tweeting the following just hours before Tuesday's 3pm EST live stream:
Hey world, we hear you also have Android phones? HQ has a nice little stocking stuffer coming your way... pic.twitter.com/RwY6Qpkk9e
— HQ Trivia (@hqtrivia) December 5, 2017
So its look like Trivia Daddy Scott Rogowsky is prepping to give all the HQties rocking an Android phone a very Merry Christmas this year — and if parts of that sentence confuse or scare you it's going to be okay.

Renowned chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence return to whip a fresh crop of bumbling cooks into culinary shape in a new season of Worst Cooks in America, premiering Sunday, January 7th at 9pm (all times ET/PT) on Food Network. In the ten-episode series that transforms kitchen disasters into skilled cooks, Anne and Tyler each lead a team of cooking-challenged recruits in an intense culinary boot camp designed to improve their food skills. In the end, only the one contestant who makes the most impressive transformation wins a $25,000 grand prize and bragging rights for their team mentor.
"Kicking off the year with a new roster of Worst Cooks has become a Food Network tradition," said Courtney White, Senior Vice President, Programming, Scripps Networks Interactive. "Watching Anne and Tyler turn these kitchen misfits into confident cooks is a fun ride from start to finish."
The competitors are: Brandon Arroyo (Cleveland, Ohio); Steven Crowley (New York, New York); Kayrene Curtis (Rocky River, Ohio); Jonathan Farhat (Livermore, California); Lily Frey (Anaheim Hills, California): Asaf Goren (Los Angeles, California); Robyn Hayden (Charleston, South Carolina); Sylvia Jefferies (Charleston, South Carolina); Hazell Mckenzie (Brooklyn, New York); Priscilla Nguyen (Hattiesburg, Mississippi); Skyler and Spencer Nick (Wauconda, Illinois); Kevin Pettice (Charlotte, North Carolina); Shatima Ruffin (Yorktown, Virginia); Sharon Shvarzman (Staten Island, New York) and Lacey Stout (Owasso, Oklahoma).
In the season premiere, sixteen of the country's worst cooks enter boot camp with dreams of putting their kitchen nightmares behind them. Anne and Tyler need to see what they're dealing with, so they have the recruits make their signature dishes - and the results are worse than they could have imagined. For the first main dish challenge, the chefs teach the recruits how to make breakfast, the most important meal of the day. Then Anne and Tyler pick teams, and the two recruits with the least successful breakfast dishes are sent home. Upcoming episodes feature a fun fish market challenge, a round of food trivia game "Family Food," a sweet Valentine's Day challenge and the return of "Remote Control Chef." The season culminates on Sunday, March 11th at 9pm with the two most-improved recruits preparing a three-course, restaurant quality meal for judges Jordan Andino, Michael Chernow and Paulette Goto - and the creator of the best dish wins $25,000 and victory for their mentor.

And here comes the perfect landing............
Independent film-maker CJ Wallis has begun screening his award-winning feature documentary "Perfect Bid: The Contestant Who Knew Too Much" about super-fan Ted Slauson's unique history with The Price is Right and is currently adding dates to the film’s winter and spring North American tour.
The documentary explores how Slauson became adept at recording and memorizing prices of products featured on the show since its inception in 1972, culminating in him helping a contestant place a perfect bid during a 2008 Showcase, and ending in one of the biggest controversies in game show history as covered by TIME Magazine, Esquire, TMZ and more.
Perfect Bid’s world premiere was held at the Bend Film Festival in October and then went on to win “Best Documentary” at the Orlando Film Festival the same month.
"It’s a love-letter to The Price is Right, it’s creators and to all of the fans who have grown up with the show as I did. In trying to keep the film as independent as possible, we have begun a grassroots campaign and have already set up a theatrical tour in over 13 cities and continuing to line up more well into next spring - which is both a testament to Ted's story and to the power of The Price Is Right," said Wallis.
Perfect Bid’s multi city tour will include theater screenings throughout the Canadian provinces and marquee locations across California, as well as, Connecticut and New Orleans, Louisiana.
Screenings dates for 2018 are currently being planned world-wide, and will be announced in the coming weeks.
Worldwide distribution rights to the film have been acquired by Gravitas Ventures and is slated for release April 2018.

Winsanity was supposed to have a re-tooled second season, but the 2-player format made GSN decided to fool the viewers by scrapping the premiere for............Family Feud. Yes, Family feud. Why? Well, GSN is trying to act like ESPN did with Sportscenter. In fact, 5 hours of Feud can make GSN money.............right? I'm sure your local affiliate has Feud, too. Better yet, Buzzr has classic Feud. Talk about your TV having Feud in one channel or the other. Another show replacing it with Feud is Idiotest. The concept was interesting and Ben Gleib brought the funny to the show. That was 2014, but it's now 2017 and 4 seasons later.......................it disappeared out of nowhere.
