 The whatstrending.com Opening Toss-Up story.

It's been one week since Monty Hall passed away. So how did they do a tribute? Well, Buzzr was the first to start things out with. Last Tuesday, Buzzr did a tribute to Monty by airing LMAD and BTC' 79. Buzzr also did it that same Saturday. CBS had no choice but to honor him the right way on LMAD on Friday afternoon. GSN decided to run a marathon for the first time in years by running a tribute with LMAD eps on Sunday. What a way to go out on a tribute to TV's Big Dealer. He will be missed.

Nick Cannon-Ball!

Nickelodeon treats fans to all the fright and fun of Halloween in Lip Sync Battle Shorties Halloween Special, airing Sunday, Oct. 15, at 7:00 P.M. (ET/PT). The all-new episode, hosted by multi-faceted entertainer Nick Cannon, features real-life kid participants syncing and dancing their hearts out to their favorite pop songs, set against Halloween-themed stages. The special also features a surprise appearance by Rico Rodriguez (Modern Family), who will present the Lip Sync Battle Shorties winner with their very own Shorties blinged-out mic.
In Lip Sync Battle Shorties Halloween Special, three hyped-up kid-battlers from across the country use their imagination to personalize their Halloween-themed performances from eccentric decorations to monster-themed costumes. Those going head to head include: Serena, from Staten Island, NY, performing one of her favorite songs "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga; Ethan from Salt Lake City, taking on "Immortals" by Fall Out Boy; and Kea from Honolulu, lip syncing "Rolex" by Ayo & Teo.

Here's one:

From Digital Spy
Comedy game show Takeshi's Castle is being rebooted, though it looks like we'll no longer have Craig Charles' dulcet tones to guide us through all the mayhem.

Comedy Central will be showing all-new episodes of the series this autumn, this time with Jonathan Ross providing the commentary.

Shot in Thailand, the show will see 100 members of the public try to tackle a number of ridiculous obstacles as they attempt to storm a castle.

"Takeshi's Castle is the gold standard of physical game shows and we can't wait to bring the delightful mayhem of this show back to the UK with this new series," said Louise Holmes, Vice President, General Manager, Comedy Central UK.

"Jonathan's comedic brilliance will add a fresh level of funny to this well-loved format for both original fans and hopefully, a whole new generation of 'Keshi-heads'."

Takeshi's Castle originally aired in Japan in the late 1980s, before transferring worldwide including the United Kingdom

But what does this remind you of?

MXC or Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. A program which dubs the program and makes it look funny with fake names to avoid....obvious issues. So much fun.

This next story adds a ring to it....

Every major player in the nonscripted space has been trying to make reality TV interactive, to stitch together the AARP-heavy live TV audiences with millennial-friendly multiscreen viewers. Everyone, so far, has failed. (Remember ABC's short-lived Rising Star? Didn't think so.)
5 Gold Rings is Talpa's big interactive play. The trivia show, in which contestants place gold rings over their answers on a giant LED screen while viewers play along at home on their phones, has just been renewed for a second season on Britain's ITV and is also on the air in France and the Netherlands.

"We really focused on embedding interactivity in the initial phase of the content process, so it doesn't come as an afterthought but is truly integrated and feels natural," says Maarten Meijs, managing director of Talpa Global. "There needs to be a level of interactivity and connectivity to reach our viewers where they are."

It's still too early to say whether 5 Gold Rings will be the interactive breakout the market has been waiting for. Compared to Talpa juggernauts like The Voice, it is still a minnow, sold to just a handful of territories. NBC commissioned a U.S. pilot of the format but passed on the series, and Talpa is currently rethinking its American strategy.

"It's a very technical show, and we are attempting to have the exact same game on mobile devices as we have on live TV," says de Mol. "The challenge is to get the viewer to download the app and play along, but the penetration [for the U.K. version] was very high and will hopefully grow in season two."

Interactive or not, Talpa is betting big on a game show revival at this year's MIPCOM, with an array of formats, including The Big Picture, Divided and What Do I Know?, tapping into a new vogue for the genre (think ABC's revivals of Match Game and Pyramid).
"You see that this genre, one of the oldest genres on television, is coming back," says Meijs. "The challenge is always to be original, to add interactive technology components when they make sense and, most of all, to take risks."

Take this if you will.

Madi2theMax: Incoginto.

When Madison Brunoehler is not doing impressions just for fun, she "allegedly" and I mean by that, sneak in as a contestant on TV game shows. So tell us, what game show did she sneak herself in?

Here's a hint: A punny thing.

Ponder on that after a Google Play music interlude from.......Svengoolie.

Now let's reveal the answer and pull back the curtain.....

Image result for quicksilver game show

Quicksilver. A show Maude Garrett, Jamie Petitto or Anna Kerr of Circiots and Coffee should've hosted it. Ron Maestri hosted his only game show for the USA network. It should've been in syndication had it been for the returning champion rule. Oh, and those questions.................................

Tune in next week to see where she goes incognito.
