 The whatstrending.com Opening Toss-Up story.

Steve Harvey is taking Shark Tank to an arena....somewhere in LA with Steve Harvey's Funderdome. Here's your first look at it.

(remote control changes background into a clip)

But Is this story true?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbusENG6hCE

A hacking collective is claiming that it has leaked unaired episodes of Funderdome, ABC's upcoming show hosted by Steve Harvey.
The Dark Overlord, a hacker collective that gained notoriety for leaking new episodes of the Netflix's hit show Orange Is the New Black back in April, tweeted Sunday that it had uploaded eight episodes of Harvey's new show onto an illegal file sharing site.

Funderdome is slated to premiere June 11 on ABC.

The Dark Overlord had threatened ABC on Friday with a leak of one of its programs. On Sunday it announced that it had leaked the Funderdome episodes.

According to a report from The Independent, as of this morning, the torrent had “only one seeder and zero leechers”, meaning that nobody is taking the hackers up on their offer.
Created by Harvey and Shark Tank producer Mark Burnett, Funderdome is a reality competition show where entrepreneurs go head-to-head in pitching their ideas and winning seed money for their fledgling business.

Looks like The Dark Overlord needs to shut it down.......badly. Let's see if June 11th can change all this.

Hold it! Breaking news alert. Duff Goldman is invading a town.....

Luckily, it's Flavortown.

Monday nights just got a little sweeter with Food Network's double dose of primetime programming, beginning on Monday, July 10th. First, at 8pm ET/PT Duff Goldman turns the Triple-G Flavortown Market into Sweet City on Dessert Games. Then, the fun continues at 9pm & 9:30 ET/PT as owners of Sideserf Cake Studio, Natalie and Dave Sideserf, push the boundaries of cake design with their remarkable, realistic cake creations on the premiere of Texas Cake House.
"Mondays hit the spot with decadent desserts on Dessert Games and crazy custom-made cakes on Texas Cake House," said Courtney White, SVP Programming, Scripps Networks Interactive. "Duff Goldman, a baking trailblazer, kicks off the night with his signature charm as the perfect host of the fun and fast-paced dessert-focused competition. Then, audiences get a behind-the-scenes look as Natalie and Dave Sideserf create extraordinarily detailed cake sculptures that defy the ingredients they are made of in how realistic they look!"
Guy Fieri has handed the keys to his grocery store over to dessert master Duff Goldman and given Duff carte blanche to remodel the store, restock the shelves and sugarcoat his grocery games. Each week Duff will test the skills of a new batch of four pastry chefs as they race the aisles shopping, preparing, and plating confectionary creations in three rounds of epic baking challenges. From desserts using savory ingredients, to store-bought treat makeovers, and to the classic dessert imposters, the contestants' must use shopping shortcuts and food-hacks to rise to the top. The one that impresses a rotating panel of judges with their baking talents to cream the competition with their desserts will earn a grand prize of $10,000!

If you watched "Empire" on Fox, you know that Timbaland does the music for it. In fact, ABC announced today that multi-platinum Grammy-winning super producer Timbaland will serve as the third architect on the upcoming music competition series "Boy Band," which premieres on THURSDAY, JUNE 22 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network. Timbaland joins previously announced architects Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys) and Emma Bunton (Spice Girls).

"I'm excited to be a part of this show and come on as an architect to help guide the next generation of undiscovered talent," said Timbaland. "I want to continue giving back to music as I have been. I'm ready to find the next boy band that could change our business."

Timbaland has been a mainstay in the music scene since the mid-1990s, producing chart-topping hits for artists such as Drake, Rihanna, Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, Madonna, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, One Republic, Kanye West, Brad Paisley and Bjork. Recently, Timbaland served as the executive music supervisor for the TV series "Empire" and will be releasing new music this year.

Additionally, musical mastermind Adam Blackstone will serve as musical director for the series. Blackstone has served as the musical director for high-profile acts such as Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Maroon 5, Alicia Keys and most recently for Justin Timberlake's "20/20 Experience" world tour, as well as Timberlake's opening performance at the 2017 Oscars.

In "Boy Band," undiscovered young talent from around the country battle it out to become a member of the next great music sensation. From The Beatles to The Jackson 5 to Backstreet Boys and One Direction, generations around the world have always had an insatiable thirst for boy bands. Hosted by singer Rita Ora, the 10-episode series will chronicle the journey of young male vocalists who will compete for a chance to show the world that they have what it takes to win a coveted spot in America's next great boy band and receive a recording contract with Hollywood Records.

With Discovery getting the Cash Cab reboot, they went ahead without Ben Bailey. Guess What? He decided to chip in.

When Cash Cab returns to the Discovery Channel later in 2017 so will a familiar face. The network announced Monday that original Cash Cab host and comedian Ben Bailey will once again take the wheel—this time as both host and executive producer. Comedian David Steinberg (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and All3Media’s Lion USA also serve as executive producers, with Robyn Todd as co-executive producer.
"Holy #%$&!! Cash Cab is back!!! HUGE thanks to all the fans who pushed for the show (and for me) to come back! Never before has a comedian been so happy to go back to driving a cab," said Bailey in a statement. "OMG I think I left the meter running!"

Discovery's new 'Cash Cab' episodes will still feature a trivia competition for riders, but this time the unsuspecting contestants are ambushed by America's favorite celebrities.

The revamped version of Cash Cab pretty much adheres to the conventions of the original—unsuspecting passengers are picked up for a trivia-filled taxi ride in New York City, only this time around Bailey will be joined by guest celebrities. If the passengers get stumped on a question they can ask friends or pedestrians for help via phone, text or social media.
Based on an original British format by Adam Wood, Cash Cab originally aired on Discovery Channel from 2005 to 2012. Bailey hosted more than 200 episodes of the series and won four Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Game Show Host.

Let the Tattooed angels sing.

Spike's hit original tattoo-competition franchise, "Ink Master," continues to grow, as the network has greenlit 10 episodes of new series, "Ink Master: Angels." The series features four of "Ink Master" Season 8's top female competitors - Ryan Ashley, Kelly Doty, Nikki Simpson and Gia Rose - as they travel the country and go head to head with some of America's most talented tattoo artists. Competitors will face a variety of tattoo-based challenges to see who has what it takes to beat the "Angels" and earn a spot on Season 10 of "Ink Master" (premiering on Paramount Network in 2018). Both series are produced by Truly Original.
The announcement was made today by Chachi Senior, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming & Development, Spike/Paramount Network.

"As the 'Ink Master' franchise continues to grow, we are thrilled to work with Ryan Ashley, Kelly Doty, Nikki Simpson and Gia Rose on 'Ink Master: Angels,'" said Senior. "The fan-favorite females of Season 8 will add a new voice to the franchise and help us discover the best artists around the country."

The new series, which has been picked up for 10 one-hour episodes will air in the fall of 2017 following the culmination of "Ink Master" Season 9, which premieres tonight, June 6, along with new episodes of spinoff series "Ink Master: Redemption."
"Ink Master," "Ink Master: Angels" and "Ink Master: Redemption" are produced for Spike by Truly Original ("Swamp People," "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," "Vanity Fair Confidential") with Glenda Hersh, Steven Weinstock and Andrea Richter serving as executive producers. Truly Original is a subsidiary of Endemol Shine North America.

Saturdays are known for cartoons, sports and trying to adjust your recording tapes to 6:05 on the Superstation, but.....

Stephen Mulhern could be set for another big TV spin-off, this time expanding his repertoire on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
The presenter, who we all love on Britain's Got More Talent, teased that one of his segments on Saturday Night Takeaway could get its own series.

"We're trying to make 'In for a Penny, In for a Grand' its own game show," Stephen told The Sun.

"Ant & Dec asked me to do it, which is really exciting. I just knew it was a winner. It's gone down well. We're hoping to get it off the ground later this year.

"We just need some time to work on it. Ideally, we'd make the cash prizes bigger too, just to up the ante."
The presenter said he wanted to bring back the "golden days" of family TV, continuing: "I love working with members of the public and I think you can have a lot of fun with them.

New month and we must.....

Buzz-GSN where we ask you guys on the GSN facebook page everything and anything.

Aaron Gershon kicks it off with:
Did you get your idea for the show idiotest from your old facebook game, dumbville? The games seem very similar. Also, why did dumbville get deleted? I really liked that game.

If you remember when it was GSN The Know, we told you that Idiotest was inspired by Dumbville. Corey Sweeney says...

"I watch GSN quite a bit, but the commercials are telling me I should have diabetes pain, HPV, acidosis, or Bipolar depression!"

Have you checked in to the emergency room? I heard Grimsborough Memorial Hospital has 4-star food. Best in the city. On to Karen Bollero.

"I was just wondering why, with the thousands of game shows that have been on over the years, it seems like Family Feud is always on. I think 75% of the time when I turn GSN on when trying to find something to watch Family Feud is on & for hours at a time. Can't you run other things & family feud occasionally?"

GSN needs to.....real BAD! REAL BAD!!!!!!

Going next is David Van HOecke who says 3x....

Enough with the wall to wall Family Feud ðŸ˜µðŸ˜¡
Darn Skippy. Michael Anthony castellon says....

"We are sick n tired of too much Family Feud on your channel and you're losing viewers and i understand it's a good show but too much Feud gets boring so why don't you cut back on Feud and bring Debt from season 1 and 2 on your line up and plus why don't you bring back Debt and re-hire Wink or anybody else as host of Debt because we all need to be out of Debt. Man too much Feud".

Too Much....is definitely too much. On to Harry Hill.

"Why did you take (Press Your Luck) off? it should've been on at 11AM with the double Game Shows?
"

I guess Buzzr seems to be the Only Hope.  On to Brian Tuttle.

Thank you GSN....enjoying the Cash Cab marathon tonight!

And thank you too. Finally, Ernie Elliott.

I am sick and tired of seeing prescription drug commercials on GSN.
I’m sure the marketing department can get some sponsors for products healthy people buy.
When I see these drug commercials for cancer, or cancer treatment center of America or places for spine surgery
I just change the channel every time. How about commercials for soda, potato chips, food items, shampoo, soap, detergent, you know stuff everyone uses.
Young healthy people watch game shows too, not just people that are on deaths door.
I’ve been a GSN subscriber for over 15 years and watch it daily but, have had enough of these worthless commercials.
Maybe it's time to start watching Buzzr instead.

Amen to that.

Let's play some Quicksliver with the following choices.....

Brie
Cottage Cheese
Turnbuckle

Clue: you might see one of the Bella Twins.....play with house money.

We'll give you time to think after this Google Play music interlude form Risa Binder. She is known for this......

But now she's giving us a musical dose on Game Show Live! So Risa, sing for us.

And now we gotta have the answer. Did you figure it out? It was......Cottage Cheese. Dangerously Cheesy.

And now, for a Game Show Live! Exclusive!

Where in the world were you on June 3, 1996? It was Monday, under the sign of Gemini. The US president was Bill Clinton (Democratic). Famous people born on this day include Fie Laursen . In that special week of June people in US were listening to Tha Crossroads by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. In UK Three Lions by Baddiel & Skinner and The Lightning Seeds was in the top 5 hits. The Cable Guy, directed by Ben Stiller, was one of the most viewed movies released in 1996 while The Runaway Jury by John Grisham was one of the best selling books. On TV people were watching Si Doel anak sekolahan. If you liked videogames you were probably playing Congo the Movie or Radical Dreamers.     But a familiar game show face passed away.

That's right. Ray Combs committed suicide in a Glendale Metal Ward by hanging his bedsheets over the closet bar. If  you watched the E! True Hollywood Story, he got fired from Family Challenge after just 1 season. He was one of the greatest Feud hosts ever. But on June 2nd 2012.....

Richard Dawson passed away. He was the very first host of Feud. He took the new show into a classic. The survivors: Louie Anderson, Richard Karn and of course, Steve Harvey. May they both rest in peace.
