Me: Thank you Stephanie Panisello, and I want to give a shout out to the Warp Zone acapella choir for pinch hitting for Kanye West who didn't show up today. That's the opening salvo to today's Game show Live! As live as it gets, as live as it happens and as live whenever you feel like it.
Today's program is presented this month by Stan Lee's Hands of Respect. And because it's her appreciation month, I'll let Madi2TheMax explain.

To the stagehand behind the teleprompter guy, stop it or else Vanna White would come over and hit you upside the head with a bankrupt wedge. Anyways, let's start the show.....the golden brain for first segment goes to.....
The whatstrending.com Opening Toss-Up story.
Playing trivia is a better way to broaden your horizons on getting on a game show. For one man, that's what he does....by hosting it. Meet Ryan Budds. He's a comedian/writer/actor from the south suburbs of Chicago now living in Los Angeles. He is the producer behdin Nickelodeon's Crashletes and NBC's Ridiculousness. He has acted in the first Sharknado movie and once worked on Minute to Win It. Now....he's a trivia host. He runs his own company. His website is:
http://triviawithbudds.com/
Here's a taste of what it would be like if you were at one of his shows.
In fact, he does a podcast when you wake up every Tuesday morning.
And now.....he's in a new show on TheStream.tv. This is DC + Marvel Facts and Trivia with Budds.
Originally 3 contestants, it's 2 teams on either the DC or Marvel side facing off in 20 questions based on the week's subject. After that, it's 10 questions based on you, the fans. Then comes the final showdown: Categories with Budds. It's like Hot Potato and the last one survives. Oh, and the chat room participes for a cool prize. One time, I won a resident evil poster. What fun is that? So if you are a comic book Geek and what to learn more about the 2 comic book companies, head on over to Thestream.tv every Thursday at 11pm EST and test your comic book knowledge with us. Who knows? You might win a prize Ryan has in his stash?

I'm going to pass some pieces of mounds candy bars to the staff like Ellen Dengeneres, so Let's break for a commercial word, because after this, I'll take Charley Weaver with the gold teeth for the block, please. That's on the way, but first...
(song fades out)
The Oscars may be over but one documentary may be up for an Oscar. For your consideration............this.

What, no Caroline Rhea or George Gobel?
ITV came in like a Cannonball.
Bosses at the popular broadcaster are looking to emulate the success of their current physicality-based challenge show 'Ninja Warrior UK' and rival broadcaster BBC's bonkers 'Total Wipeout' - which was axed in 2013 - by commissioning the new program which will see contestants compete in a variety of water-based tasks.
According to The Sun newspaper, the show will include entertaining challenges such as attempting the highest and longest jumps possible from water slides whilst wearing fancy dress.
The publication also reports that the program will be filmed in the warmer climate of the Mediterranean, so hopeful applicants aren't put off by the idea of getting into freezing cold water.
A source told the newspaper: "'Cannonball' is a wacky idea for a show but it promises to be funny. It involves people throwing themselves around in a swimming pool and making fools of themselves."
The idea for 'Cannonball' comes from an existing show named 'Bommetje XXL' which has already proved a hit in Holland, and was made by production company Talpa Media, bought by ITV in 2015.
Talpa Media are also the production company behind 'The Voice UK' - which ITV previously bought the rights to after it was dropped by the BBC - celebrity dance competition 'Dance Dance Dance', and Phillip Schofield's new game show '5 Gold Rings'. Whilst no air date has been confirmed for the show, ITV bosses are already looking for willing participants with applications closing on March 26.

Time for a new segment called: You Said What?
This is where we take a saying and print it on our blog to see. Sqrambled Scuares contestant Jeff Hunt alias Jeffro said:
"It's Rigged."
That was when he discovered a miser and went on to solve a second set of Sqrambled Scuares despite all this. The episode is here:

Buzz-GSN where we ask you guys on the GSN facebook page everything and anything.
Marilyn Masters kicks it off with:
"Divided is a terrible show. Cannot believe it has any viewers."
And why is it terrible? Carolyn-David Inzer says: "
Would love to sit down as a family and watch this show without all the cussing and filthy talk from Steve Harvey."
Try Buzzr. It'll help. Nicolas White says:
"GSN should do a marathon of classic Wheel of Fortune episodes to celebrate Vanna's 60th birthday."
Guess what? They've should've!!!!!! Frank "The Man" Hughley says:
"PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #GSN
TAKE #DIVIDED AND SHOVE IT"
That's right. Take it in the dumpster never to be seen again. And the final one goes to Patricia Cully.
"Thank you GSN for playing so many of the old game shows. Card Sharks, Match Game, $25,000 Pyramid, etc. First of all, everyone on the old shows look neat and clean, do not show off to the detriment of the contestants, They are not there to show off, but to help the contestants win. I refuse to watch the NEW Match Game as the celebrities act like crazy nuts, too many talk at the same time and in reality drown out the contestants. They run around asking the others what word they are using. Shut up, stay put and find your own words,. You who do the new shows watch the old ones and try to give the same great actions of those people. Stop hyping everything.,"
Stick to the classic 1970s Match game. It's a classic.
Time to have a little bit o' fun. Can you....Sqramble This?
Hint: He's a rain Man.

The Lightning Rant. 90 seconds to talk about Game shows of 1990 starting from.................
http://www.qwizx.com/gssfx/usa/mtg-buzzin2.wav
Now.
1990 was such a good time for game shows. Whether you had cable TV, syndication or network, 1990 had such a good time for TV. A lot survived into 1991 and others.....didn't. Blame it on Joker's Wild and Tic Tac Dough 1990, they were classics back in the seventies and eighties, but in 1990....it was crash and burn. What about The Challengers? It was what Dick Clark did post-Pyramid and brought back elements of The Who, What or Where game. The Quiz Kids Challenge even brought in the spirit of Quiz Kids back then. What about LMAD? It was in Orlando with Bob Hilton at first, but Monty Hall brought it up before NBC pulled the plug. Come 2009.....things change. On cable, you watched Get The Picture, Remote Control, Top Card, Family Double Dare and more. We ushrered in Turn It Up! on MTV. TPIR is still chugging along and Family Feud is still Family Feud. Video Power didn't have a video game format until a year later and there are so many more. One show that outsold them all was Supermarket Sweep. It showed everyone what a real show is and David Ruprecht played general manger to a hit revival show. I wished it would returned. so in closing, 1990 was the 2nd biggest year in game shows.....since 1975.
