VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.
Me: And it must be me, the man about games on GSN. Ben Gleib said you're an idiot, Brooke Burns said the chase is on, Ray Combs said it's time to play the Feud and I can watch GSN every day and night. When GSN is always on the air everyday, it makes the fan girls twist & shout. Time to figure out what this GSN thing is all about in.....
The whatstrending.com Starting Line.
2011. What happened? What's Trending with Shira Lazar was launched....
Singer Amy Winehouse dies.
Charlie Sheen leaves 2 and a Half Men.
And GSN aired 3 new shows to entertain an audience.
This past week, Love Triangle and Drew Carey's Improv-a-Ganza premiered. It was the same day of the week, Monday, April 11th, 2011. Drew Carey's show was obviously a spin-off of Whose Line?, while Love Triangle was spawned off the success of GSN's own Baggage.
How did it do? The premiere week went like this....
Although Love Triangle was off to a slow start, the 4/27 show got praise for it. Also, Improv was off to a fast start, but grinded to a halt from there. Under 300K viewers, Improv lost some.
With 2 new shows became 2 busts like Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf being coaches for a top 10 BCS team. That became moderate failrues, but on the plus side, Password Plus and Super Password returned to the schedule for the first time in 4 years. That's about the time the Olympics, the World Cup or a new Presidential election runs. Still, the latter isn't bad.
After the timeout, 2 sundays and 1 show was on TV. What was it? Hang on because we're returning shortly. 4/20 smoke break!
(song fades out)
(Quick fade out)
Alright kids, put your cigarettes in the trash, I got more GSN stuff for you.
It's been 2 Sundays in a row since a popular show was aired. If you said Steampunk'd, then I'm Sorry. It was...
Any reason why? Well, it's because of the premiere tonight at 10EST. Will this continue the train that powers with steam?
Also, Political Idiotest will take place on that same night. But who is playing? Well, Tomi Lahren, the youngest political talk show host in history with her self-titled one-hour show, "Tomi" on TheBlaze TV, will represent the “right” side of the political spectrum. Cenk Uygur, founder and CEO of TYT Network, and the host of the flagship show, The Young Turks will represent views from the “left." Sounds like a fun one. But also interesting too. And following that on the same show will be a "Chelsea Lately" reunion of panelists, because Ben was on the talk show.
Just when Michael Strahan was done with taping Pyramid to revive the franchise when it was started, He is leaving the talk show that left Kelly Ripa stranded ever since Regis left to focus on Good Morning America. Why? To help bring it to first place. Today and CBS This morning have gotten them hit by a fly swatter, but a can of Raid will eliminate these 2 back to the top since the Lunden/Gibson heyday.
Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. We continue April Acapella Awareness Month with Ladies First of Michigan State University. They're always a knockout like the men's basketball team did in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Did you saw what happened? Anyways, enjoy.
Now we put up the 3rd period.
New segment everyone.....
Let's ask the Know-It-all. Someone here in the sorority section of Metro City University wants to know what game show would I do for GSN?
That is an interesting question. I've been seeing it on Youtube and it proves a game show is here to stay. Would you roll the film Sinema?
Sqrambled Scuares. It's got a host named Buzz Berry who at first looks like a long lost twin brother of John Walsh of America's Most Wanted. Anyway, 2 players take turns picking numbers and revealing prizes, points, multipliers, missers...you know like the Lose A Turn space on Wheel of Fortune and a space that gives you 2 chances all to unscramble people, places and things. It's like Wheel of Fortune combined with Concentration's board and the jumble section in the newspaper. Good clean fun, isn't it. Not only that, I would have Kimberly Quigley of "The Red Booth" play Vanna White and let Madison Brunoehler produce alongside Buzz and move the show to Los Angeles....just because. So there's your question and if you want to know more about it:
Or on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sqrambled.scuares/
And pretty soon, on Twitter, Instagram and Periscope so the latter can give you a preview puzzle to play along at home. Oh, and there's a Youtube page:
Who knows? You can imagine Paula Rhodes slay David to Shira Lazar's goliath, Maude Garrett go nose-to-nose against Tiffany Smith or Kristian Harloff and Mark Ellis in a Schmoedown from somewhere out of Motown all in the place where the battles take place: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You Know!
Now if you'll excuse us, we have to go. Our blog today is presented by Coachella. An annual spring event in California where you get to see musical surprises, flower headbands and white girls all getting wasted like Taylor Swift in the same weekend. Dogs welcome too!
Don't forget to email me at email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, Pierre Jason Kelly on FB and @Johnny_Arcade on twitter. Also I'm on Snapchat as MisterGSN and Instagram as Mister_WCW. Let's end it with somebody who would one day headline Coachella. It's our beloved GSN The Know Soda Girl Christa Nannos taking us off the air. Play on, playas.
