VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.
Me: Boys & girls, I want to tell you this. When you think of turning on GSN, it's like a fall festival mixed in with a renisannce fair with Lollapalooza all in one. Your remote asks you to be there. Plenty of great hosts, funny contestants and outrageous moments on your TV. Take it from us, you might see Gene Rayburn, Peter Tomarken and those pesky whammies, Bob Eubanks and Jim Perry feeding the Card Sharks, Todd Newton, Howie Mandel, or the tandem of Beast & Brooke. You might try Ben Gleib and his gang of idiots, Jerry Springer, or Rebecca Romijn with her judging panel. maybe you should see Jeannie Mai or even Dick Clark taking the Pyramids on up. How about Dylan Lane & Mike Catherwood bonded together in chains? As if it wasn't enough, you could take on the 3 faces of Feud led by their chief survey taker, Steve Harvey. There's nothing like a GSN game party, let's get it started. To do that....
The Starting Line.
Who won Skin Wars? I will tell it to you.
With the finals underway, they started with foot-illusion paintings. Avi started it off with a hummingbird and Lana made koi fish and finally Aryn with a bat. Avi hit a homerun with that challange, but for the final challenge, all 3 made smoething nice. Lana made a blue crab, Avi made a chameleon and Aryn made a butterfly. And the winner goes to..............Lana! And they all lived happilly ever after.

THE END

Now it's time to pick who is getting chopped and who deserves a fresh one. It's the Yay & Yawn of August.
The Yay: Lana Chronium. She joins Natalie Fletcher as 2 women who won Skin Wars.
The Yawn: Man V Fly. It killed Idiotest in viewership, not to mention the format. Even Ben Gleib did his best as a sportscaster.
So, what did we think of Steampunk'd? That answer after this brief intermission.
(song fades out)
Oh, you're back. I was getting leftover pizza and iced tea from the kitchen alias concession stand while you were gone. Let's talk Steampunk'd. It was the latest offering GSN came up with and a review haiku is in short order.
IT'S JUST LIKE SKIN WARS
BUT WITH A STEAMPUNK FORMAT
GAME MEETS GIRL LIKES IT
(song stops)
Now, I want to give you the first episode in a story, but it would be a bore to you. So to liven it up, I decided to give it to you....in a limerick. Each week, I'll recap the show using that type of poem until a winner is crowned. And away we go.
There one was a host named Jeannie Mai,
Who looked sexy & fly,
her love was Steampunk,
and it was hers to flunk,
So she brought in 10 people, but why?
The 10 decided to go to the kitchen not for a snack,
Because from before, it feels so wack,
They needed a breakfast device,
to make it look nice,
Now there's something they want right back.
So there was one team of Blue,
Yep, you heard me, it's true.
It consisted of Ms. morgan,
Lady Hawk not playing an organ,
Tobias, Charles and J.....W.
Another team consisted of Red
Steampunk Eddie was the head
Tayliss, James and
Ave and Karianne
didn't want to put this challenge to bed.
After that, Ave won the whole sink,
And Miss Morgan was 2nd in the link,
But with J.W. on danger,
it was no stranger,
Tobias got himself a slip of pink.
(song stops)
ANd that's just it.
I hired Autumn Brand from Season & Snare and she asked 3 more string players to help us in.....

So expect plenty of Feud whenever the SK special airs this week. Even Karn gets a repreive. 2 more changes shocked us all.....
*GSN's Whammy! will air weekdays at 11:30am; replacing Deal or No Deal. GSN's Whammy! now has a double run in the 11am hour each weekday.

Aww, you guys are nice. And we have to go kids. Today's blog is presented by waitresses. Give them money. They're like charity, so that they can keep their house paid, their car running smoothly, food from the supermarket and most importanly.....some time off.
*Dog Eat Dog will air weekdays at 4pm (except Wednesday, where there is a Steampunk'd rerun); replacing Deal or No Deal
Now why is DOND leaving? Well, it looks like the expiration date is up on the Howie Mandel-hosted program. That is both the NBC version and its syndie counterpart. But why DED? It's already been rerun-abused. Can't they come up with Camouflage, Woolery Lingo, Russian Roulette, Cram, Friend or Foe or Millionaire to make it better? And why is GSN trynig to get something from the vaults to make it better? Were they running out of something to get a show that is 2 seasons old back in form? Gee whiz.
(song stops)
Let's end it with.....

Carni-Poll. Where it's like Rec Room in Memphis, but without the alcohol. First.....
Will you watch 'Skin Wars: Fresh Paint' this Wednesday on GSN?
80% don't think so.
Which will get additional seasons?
41% think Skin Wars over Steampunk'd.
If 'Idiotest' does get a third season, should GSN find a new host?
75% think they want to hire Paula Rhodes or somebody else to get Ben Gleib the heave-ho.
Last question:
Who is the better host of the GSN 'Chain Reaction' revivals?
Sorry Dylan, Psycho Mike is what the fans like.
(song stops)
Now the 2nd intermission presnted by swagbucks.com. Stephanie Pressman is with us today. Born in Atlanta, she has had a showbiz career even when she took off for LA. You've seen her in Stalking Levar, or as a contestant on Geeks Who Drink for SyFy. More likely, she's the host for Geek 360 on thestream.tv. She's the brains behind Fashionably Nerdy, but what you don't know about her is....she sings. She's what you call a junior product of Lisa Loeb and with this Flight Facilities cover, she will prove it to you.
Here's something else you crave. The third period.
It's coming up on 3 months of Buzzr and since then, Buzzr shows you nothing but Fremantle programming. But when you ask them for something outside Fremantle to make the channel grow, I'll give you this poem David Downs wrote while I was on Facebook. So give me Lena Thomas on bass, Shira Lazar on bongos and Sonya Belousova on the grand piano. Ladies, please.....
Buzzr is a channel
Full of classic game show fun.
But there are some shows...
They simply can't rerun.
They can't rerun Wheel
Or Jeopardy with Trebek.
Unless they suddenly decide
To cut Sony a big, fat check.
Same goes for Joker's Wild
Tic Tac Dough, too.
Sony is so stingy
They even block them on Youtube.
So forget about Play The Percentages,
Bullseye, or Break The Bank.
But I don't need to remind you
Who you need to thank.
Want to see Newlywed Game?
Dating Game? Gong Show?
I hate to tell you this,
But Chuck Barris' library Is also in Sony's tow.
What about Pyramid, you say?
Hate to break this to you.
But Sony owns the Bob Stewart library
So start crying the blues.
Hollywood Squares isn't owned by Sony
But it isn't by Fremantle, either.
Because they don't own
The library of Merrill Heatter.
Heatter also created High Rollers
All-Star Blitz, and Gambit.
So unless there are negotiations with Fremantle
Don't expect to see...um, it.
But what about that show
That combined HS with Match Game?
Well, that's a no-go, too
Because ownership isn't the same.
What about Monty Hall shows?
Split Second, for one.
Fremantle only wanted LMAD.
After that, they were done.
Will this clear things up?
I don't know, maybe.
One thing's for sure, though
These people need to quit crying like babies!
