VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.

Me: And with that, we're on the air. Thanks for being your co-pilot for the journey to everything GSN. In-flight entertainment starts with......

The Starting Line.

There's going to be a new lineup this week and it's this:

*Card Sharks will air at 10am; replacing Shop 'Til You Drop.
*The $25,000 Pyramid with Dick Clark will air at 10:30am; replacing Catch 21.
*Whammy! (GSN's version) will air at 11am; replacing Deal or No Deal. Deal or No Deal remains at 11:30am.

Evrything before that remains as is. Now, When Shop replaced $ale of the century, it was a sour taste in the mouth. They tried the 1997 edition.....that didn't work. Then to make more viewers happy, they went back to 1993.....and it didn't work too. What did they do? Add another edition of Eubanks Card Sharks on the channel. That makes it 2. So why can't you have one CS start with January 1986, and have another CS where the current lease is, or better yet, go forward to 1988-89? Anyways, thanks CS for what meant the damage STYD made. Also, to the Pyramid, I'm glad they went back to where it was. If the 1982-84 aired, it'd be a whole different story. No joke. Even Whammy! took out half of DOND hour. This could help change the daytime landscape a bit. And next week, we'll have your reactions to these wonderful changes.

June meant it felt like a thunderstorm where I live, but let's find out who rained the viewers down the best and who was rained out way too long in our Yay & Yawn of June.

The Yay: Skin Wars. Back at it. Season 2 is more than what season 1 had and it's becoming GSN's biggest hit.

The Yawn: Idiotest no longer at 7 CDT. Rivalry days done did it, huh?

After this little quickie, there's a new #1 syndicated game show in town and we can't wait to tell you what it is. SO don't fly outta here just yet.

(song fades out)

(Quick fade out)

Thanks for letting our flight attendants on Gradius Airlines choose sloppy joes and Vanilla Coke over hot dog pizza from Pizza Hut and Pepsi while we were away.

Fall is coming....and it's not Game of Thrones, which many geeks had a withdrawl from earlier this month.....but the night is young.....and full of.......(record scratching) This:

That's right, my Know-it-alls, Hellevator will be arriving this fall and who better to be hosts for this hellride than.....Flasher....

These 2 twins. They are known as the Soska twins, to be exact and Jen & Sylvia are their names. Let's hope this horrific game show can become the scariest hit the network ever came up with.

Time now to read to the 2nd story of Skin Wars 2 to you. Music please, Lizzy.....

When we last left off, Marcio was off the chessboard and off the show thanks to Lana. Now they remain with the first challenge thanks to dessert they must make and real toppings they must use. Tasty! The best dessert was whipped up by Cheryl Ann who won a choice swap in the next Concept Challenge which took place somewhere at a restaurant and Cat Cora, a Tv chef was the guest judge for this event. The challenge was to create buffet camouflages. This oughta be interesting. All 11 created a Skin Wars buffet of all kinds, but sadly, pizza wasn't involved on the menu. Instead, Avi, Cheryl Ann and Aryn were the best cooks, er, bodypainters in this challenge while Dawn Marie, Rudy and Rachel were in grave danger. After furter deliberation....Rudy went straight to the dumpster and off to land fill city never to return again. ANd they all lived.....until the next show.
(song stops)

There's a new man on the syndication mountain and it isn't The Big Bang Theory, it's.....

Family Feud. FIrst time in over 30 years to hold the top spot since the Dawson Version was outta here by Wheel in 1983 when the latter first started. Wheel has been through synide greats such as American Gladiators, Star Search, Baywatch and more and even couldn't hold a candle to many who went out after one season, but Feud was finally achehieved this year. Why? Harvey was host 5 years ago when O' Hurley walked out to help the ratings and get back to once was when it first came out in 1999. The obvious reasons were the tone of the questions that went from family-friendly to rated PG-13, the bad answers said by people and the bad words blurted out as well. Not to mention their new celebrity version that went out this week. ANd it was all in Atlanta. Yes, Atlanta. The New Hollywood. But for Wheel and Jeopardy!, they can get the luster back. You can count on it. But let's hear from what the fans thought in.....

David Downs says this:

"I'm absolutely happy to hear about this. As you said, it probably doesn't mean too much (#1 game show is more of a mythical title), but it's so good to see a show that puts in effort to win viewers beat a show (namely Wheel) that puts in virtually no effort and where every episode looks and feels exactly the same.

Congrats to everyone at the Feud!"

Congrats indeed. Daye Frye has this:

"Not impressed, I have lost faith in society that loves d--- jokes more than actual knowledge. Priorities out of whack American viewing public."

Yep. Somebody can lose IQ points by watching a classic turn into Def Comedy Jam. Ernest Goodwyn ends it with....

"Wheel knocks feud from the top spot, 30+ years later feud gets it back. *cue "circle of life"*"

See?

(song stops)

And finally, after 3 weeks, Buzzr reverted everything back to where it all started. Well, almost, but a 40,000 epsiode library is an eternity. Not to mention the fact that it's already started. Who shall I ask?.........Let me get my alter ego, He has an office on the 6th floor. Ladies & Gentlemen, making his GTK debut.....Dr. Buzzr.

VO: Dr. Buzzr is a graduate of Maple Heights Community College with a degree in game show classics. He is a lecturer in and around the Grimsborough area and contributed to many in the field of self-help for whatstrending.com and ew.com. He's been interviewed on many podcasts and has yet to appear in TV talk shows and daytime network morning shows. Dr. Buzzr is not an actual doctor, nor a Ph.D., in fact, he doesn't play one on TV. He's simply a game show fanatic who is a member of the Stephanie Thorpe foundation for New Media Excellence, the national Game & Reality foundation and the Stan Lee writers club. And now, coming from his office on the 6th floor of the Wilton-North building....Dr. Buzzr.

(song fades out)

Dr. Buzzr: Thank you Pierre Kelly. To answer the question he just said, Buzzr is an owner to the Fremantle media company, friends of mine I've worked with for many years has a library of 40,000 episodes of every game show and growing. However, what he just said was somewhat true. 3 weeks afetr Buzzr went on the air, nearly every game show went back to the start when it was launched. It's hard for affilates to be added and it's also hard for tapes to be digitized. All it takes is time. Time. See my Tom Kennedy face clock? Time. Even a grandfather clock in my monastery has one. You have one on every smartphone on the block. Time. IT'll take less than a week, maybe a month, or through 2015 to get newer ones on the air. Speaking of time, time for me to have lunch with Ira Glass and Katie Mahan. This has been Dr. Buzzr and I'm.....Dr. Buzzr.

Me: Thank you Dr. Buzzr for your insight. Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. Last week, I told you Lunity would be linked to Instalokk who did perform and it's her turn now. She, too is a LOL gamer as well as fronting her own girl group. She's going to sing one for you now.

And off to teh 3rd period!

ANd now, for the fourth year in a row.....

It's...The GSN THE KNOW....MID-YEAR....MIDTERM REPORT CARD!

We now track the ups & downs of 2015....so far. First, the epic wins.....

Skin Wars started off strong, Idiotest released season 2 and got better right after SW, Family Feud continues to pile on, Mike Catherwood is the new host of Chain Reaction and The Chase continues to keep going. Now teh epic failures.....

Lie Detectors tries daily....tries again weekly.....and fails. $ale of The Century is outta here for good, Idiotest loses teh 7 CDT hour, ITAC and BOTR get outta here and....endless Feud repeats per usual. Wanna see the grade?

A C+. It started slow, but it improved recently and it shows you why GSN is gradually picking things up as they go.

Time to leave this GSN Throne and go home. Today's blog is brought to you by musical chairs. When the music stops, somebody's got to go.
