VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Jason Kelly.

Me: Hey everyone. It's GSN The Know. More fun and more information for your game show mind & memory. Thanks for being in your brain every week and we start with.....

The Starting Line.

What do the following titles have in common?

App Wars, Hellevator, Steampunk'd, How to Games, Bingo Bash, Winsanity, Face 2 Face, Say What?, The Tunnel, Heavy Betters or Star Crossed Lovers.

Well, they got got backfired thanks to a brand new version of Chain Reaction coming soon. The 2015 developmental slate must've had a way to turn them all down for 1 show, new seasons of Idiotest and ITAC and that's it. Oh, and Chase is still king too. The new version will be under these changes....

1) Teams of two
2) "Men versus Women" teams eliminated (instead teams will be more like Idiotest ones)
3) Show filmed in L.A. (Lane's version was filmed in New York)

And Dylan Lane will not be hosting. Maybe Danica Mckellar might host if the network picks her to do it. I guess they had to pick the lone horse out of a bunch of new games.

Time out for now. After this, GSN's new game that had them going....WHAT? And another shortie. I'll let Bachelor alum Lauren Solomon play romantic versions of the Marvel Super Heroes (Arcade) soundtrack while you watch this.

(song fades out)

(Quick fade out)
That signals Lauren to step away from the piano and talk more GSN for now as we head into this next story.

The excutives met in NYC to discuss producers for their new game show. The result is....

 So, Who's The Gay?

Really? When was the last time a sexual orientation had a game show? Well, when we checked last time, "I Got a Secret" starring Bil Dwyer had a panel but Bil was straight. How can GSN get away with this game? Well, their Kickstarter page....

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/151367377/so-whos-the-gay/posts

and on Twitter....

https://twitter.com/GayTVGames/with_replies

And they taped a pilot in........the unofficial capital of LGBT's everywhere.....San Francisco last year where Starcade was taped back in the day. The premise was this:

"The format is a 30-minute game show with three contestants, two straight and one gay. A celebrity guest will appear on each episode to question each contestant on their life and sexuality."

Is this To Tell The Truth in a different direction? And should they get it at the next upfronts, would you watch it or not? I want to know your thoughts at the end of the 3rd period.

The GSNN blogspot page speculated big news for Family Feud. No, not a 24-hour, network to replace GSN's programming which would never happen, but it's this tweet from their Twitter page:

"Leading Judge Judy, this marks the 3rd time in 4 weeks that Feud set an all-time ratings high. It added 6% from its previous record 6.8."

Wowzers. Guess you had to watch GSN for it , huh?

And since the GSN closet had a clearance sale for winter, here's a piece left over for you:

Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. Lindsey Stirling appreciation month continues with this whale of a gem.

Here comes the 3rd period.

Trivia question: What game show marked Thom Mckee's television debut before he had a reign of terror on TTD?

http://www.qwizx.com/gssfx/usa/fk-buzz1.wav

Time's up. The 1980 version of To Tell The Truth. Same game, newer panel and doors that opened to reveal who the 3 contestants are and the panelists from earlier in the run with Late Show announcer and the most popular voice of the USA network Alan Kalter introducing.....Canadian Robin Ward. It made fans go....."Who?" However, like the classic game itself it had a "one-on-one" segment in which, one fact from the imposters had to determine the panel if it was a true fact or not. Guess TTTT had only one season to go with the NBC version a decade later. Oh, and Kitty Carlisle was there, too.
