VO: This is Overtime. More about the network you know & trust. Here now Pierre Kelly.

Me: It is Overtime, the monthly Friday Doodle Diary (or FriDooDi for you Mary Doodles fans out there) in one little box. Last month, I told you the top 5 classic hosts, but this month, we're on the original side starting with......

5. Ben Gleib
When Idiotest first came about, Ben Gleib was going to be the perfect host. No one knew why it wasn't doomed from the start. But a late surge got him & his show a second season. His comic experience made him what it was from the program to contribute and his TV experiences still make him a rookie host.

4. Brooke Burns
Anyone knows why Brooke Burns is Beauty to Mark Labett playing Beast. It's because her charm and poise made the Chase shoot straight up to higher ratings....and a job she's kept like she once did with Dog Eat Dog.

3. Jeff Foxworthy
When GSN picked up a game show about the Bible.....it started to not make sense at all until Jeff got picked for the role. Fact of the matter is, his acting & comedy credentials turned out to be a 3-season wonder alright, making it famliy friendly for everyone.

2. Sherri Shepard
When the newest version of "The Newlywed Game" arrived, it was out with the old and in with the new. That belonged to Carnie WIlson and Sherri Shepard. The latter made the show move back to New York since season 1 and made her feel right at home.

1. Chuck Woolery
What can you say about him? If longevity was in the dictionary, he may have wrote it. His show Lingo for 6 solid seasons made him the most trusted legend in the world.
