VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.
Me:Hello everyone. Year 3 of GTK Is upon us. GSN starts anew like Kat Sketch making a Kat's Kreation video.....A Sketch A Day video.....or any makeup video by Bethany Mota, we're here to report on all things GSN and only GSN. Let's kick off 2015 with.....
The Starting Line.
Tylenol and GSN. Are they breaking up? Well, They decided by the end of 2014, they have decided to go their separate ways. Why did GSN deserve to call a divorce? Let' s Investigate.
In an attempt to improve the experimentation, 3 ways were needed:
One: Extend Throwback Thursday later into the afternoon. Two: Tylenol gets to be the #1 sponsor of all classic programming, Monday through Sunday, which did match up since Tylenol did not pay up enough to advertise through that many hours of GSN's programming. Three: Have Tylenol sponsor some primetime programming, which later happened.
All of them were turned down. Why? GSN couldn't cooperate with their viewers much to the chagrin of Steve Harvey's Family Feud and The Chase. To make things even worse, they did a special last month called "Game Show Flashback" with Ben Gleib. Turns out it was a copycat of VH1's "I love the..." Series or Trutv's "World's Dumbest" series. That kinda sucks, isn't it? If Aleve or Bayer sponsored the deal, things would change, but viewership on any classic is the lowest of the low these days. Where did the variety go? Look, the network isn't dead, and we were upset at more rare stuff GSN would love to see. Well, it may be fun while it lasted, but the classics aren't done. Let them play on no matter what.

In just a moment, January changes and a poem. If you don't stay tuned, Meg Turney will do a song & dance on top of your desk and take away your lunch as if nothing happened. Come back.

Back in, boys & girls. As promised, schedule changes for the month, so let's do some....

House cleaning with the help of Felicia Day and her string quartet. On to the changes!
*On Monday nights, The Newlywed Game and Family Feud (O'Hurley) air from 8-10pm (this 2-hour block was only temporarily changed on 1/5). *"New to GSN" episodes of Press Your Luck, Sale of The Century and The $25,000 Pyramid continue.
*Starting January 19th, "New to GSN" episodes of Card Sharks air at 9am.
*The Chase and Idiotest air in reruns on Tuesday nights, 8-10pm. The Chase from 8pm reruns at 11pm. Idiotest does not rerun at midnight.
*Idiotest and Baggage On The Road continue to air in new runs on Wednesday nights from 8-10pm and rerun from 11pm-1am.
*Baggage On The Road reruns Saturday 8-10pm; replacing The Chase.
Something to look forward to. But a surprise came in....
(Song stops)
Love triangle will be kicked off the schedule.......for now at least. Thank god that piece of trash is gone.
Now a theory between "The Line" which premiered last month and the new show "Baggage On The Road."
According to the GSNN blogspot page, the cities for the tour BOTR gave were originally to "The Line" to serve as a series. But when Nashville was the only stop on the list, the network decided to scrap it and have BOTR do it instead. Why? To save money, of course. So there you have it. The Line was stuck in Music City the whole time turned out to be a decent 2-hour special last month. Good thinking for your brain.
And we lost Bess Myerson over the weekend. A former Miss America, she's a well-known panelist on "I've Got A Secret." May she rest in peace.
Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. Early last month, our camera crews went to a home in Germantown, TN. to capture Elizabeth Eckert who's been on our blog before. A house concert was in effect and one of the songs that we'll play right now prove that she's pretty good. Watch.

Now poetry time!
GSN did it in 2014,
And there was a lot to be seen.
It all kicked of with Mind of/A Man,
Giving ladies cash in their hands.
Next on board was Idiotest,
Proving smart people are not the best.
Geoff Edwards was gone and so is Jim Lange,
Old $OTC was nothing strange.
As did PYL and Card Sharks too,
Steve ruled weekends, but I wonder who....
...did the Tylenol pop up quiz?
It was Wink Martindale, a game show whiz.
To wrap it up, there was "The Line,"
Which ended the year mighty fine.
So now that there's lots of shows you've seen,
We're hoping for more in 2015.

And like ASMRtist Heather Feather singing a lullaby, it's Game Over. Today's blog is presented by Steve Zaragoza hosting "Password" on Buzzr. It'll make former TV host Skip Lackey go "huh?"
