A Rare Rear End

(more people go to Starbucks for breakfast than Krystal, McDonalds, Burger King and Panera Bread combined. See why at a Starbucks near you.)

VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.

Me: Welcome in to the only blog to ever figure out what a Mockingjay really is. Time to shoot for real. Aiming at the target is.....

The Starting Line.

The Chase got off in a big way. The Celebrity edition scored 610K viewers, which is down 8% than the September 2nd episode. The show is also up 26% per year. I'd say Chase is off & running. Let's see how the rest of the season goes.

In one moment, the future of Tylenol Time Capsule and A Moment to Live By. Stay Tuned. Why? Because your stepmom warned you to.

(song fades out)

(Quick fade out)

Now that your stepmom told you to, we're back. What's with the future of GSN doing rarities. Well, A story at Media Insights say that it'll run monthly. So in October, We had All-Star Secrets, Babble and Crosswits. Over at a site called Game show Paradise, one poster said:

Game Show Paradise poster: GSN puts the [old rarities] shows in terrible time slots.

Well, at first they put it in prime time, but nothing happened, then it improved at a late slot. SO will it stay here or go? I don't know.

With 2014 winding down, the new year will be promising for the network in development. Keep in mind, some will get the green light whoile others.....don't. Have a look at the lineup.

*Horror film superstar Jason Blum is helping the network with the new entry Hellevator. The series will feature contestants entering a scary, imposing warehouse via the Hellevator. The players will have to compete in various scary, suspenseful and emotionally exhausting challenges.

Good for SYFY, good for GSN? We'll see.

*Steampunk’d, from Pink Sneakers Productions, will showcase artists, designers and inventors who specialize in steampunk creations. If you need a refresher on what steampunk is, click here. Contestants will be challenged each week to make new works of art merging the past and present.

Can it be the new Skin Wars of the younger set? I don't know.

*How-To Games (wt) will challenge contestants to quickly pick up and master various difficult tasks with the help of popular internet how-to videos. Mission Control Media, who is behind the very-fun Hollywood Game Night, produces.

Um.....I'll watch that.

*Bingo Bash is based on the popular app and GSN game which sees over 900,000 players a day. One contestant will enter the studio each week and play against online opponents for the chance at big money.

That'll work.

*Winsanity, from Electus, will ask one contestant to arrange seven facts in numerical order, from low to high. Each successful round wins prizes for the team as well as the audience. If the contestants lose, though, the audience also loses everything.

Sounds dramatic? Yeah, I'll take that.

*Face 2 Face is a studio-based modern dating game using the technology of apps. The show, produced by Keshet DCP, lets one potential dater hear and see each the singles, as well as get to know anything about their personal lives courtesy social media. However, the singles cannot see the dater. The field will be narrowed down to one until the tables are turned and the final single gets to choose to meet the dater or bail out of the game before meeting face to face.

No.

BTW, App Wars did a pilot with Danica McKellar hosting and there will be 3 judges which includes.......Atari alum Nolan Bushnell. Okay. Hope I'll watch it.

(song stops)

New segment: Faking The Rules. With the first season of Idiotest down, the very first 2 aired had a different Smart Money round. Here's how it went in case you missed out on it.

To win the $10,000, 5 puzzles had to be solved in 60 seconds. These were multiple choice/multiple answer questions. For every incorrect answer tapped on each puzzle, 5 seconds would be deducted. You would only win $500 per correct puzzle.

So it didn't have both players playing over the same puzzle? That's not nice. I guess GSN picked those 2 as the worst shows this week alone. Come season 2....things will change.

Time now for the 2nd intermission presented byswagbucks.com. Cash Money & marvelous drop this......

Time now for the 3rd period.

Did you hear Steve Harvey was a grandfather?

It's true. But he can do everything on TV and radio. Let's see how the title of granddad suits Feud in.....A Moment to Live by.

Dog Tired. Today's blog is presented by any artist doing a christmas song. With the holidays right around the corner, it's hard to pick which version of "Winter Wonderland" is your favorite.
