VO: This is Overtime. More about the network you know & trust. Here now is Pierre Kelly.
Me: It is on and popping everybody, Pierre Kelly doing Overtime early, because it's normally the last Friday of every month, but we're doing it a week early because of your Thanksgiving holiday plans. This will be the last of the year until January, because we're doing our annual GTK Know-it-All awards next month. I'll give you the nominees and who'll perform there next week the day before Thanksgiving. Now we get to today's subject. It was a road to redemption for Bill Engvall in DWTS-land. Prior to that, it all started with his ability to host a game show....
But that was 2 yeras ago. This year, he took the chance to get to the ballroom and not many would have him gone by the first week. Soon as that happened, he did a foxtrot.....
He scored 18 and was off to an average start. Next week came and he did a jive....
He wanted to be gone by then, but Keyshawn Johnson was out. Bill survived and Movie week came along as he danced a paso doble to "The Lone Ranger."
His score improved to 24 and he went on to another week where Julianne Hough took Len's spot and he did a samba.
21 was the score and next week was the Most Memorable year. He then did a vienesse waltz.....
And scored 24 as a result. The Switch-up Challenge came in and he did a tango to a Jimmy Buffett song....
And came back with a check that read 23 points with a tip for 1 point in 1 team that involved Jack Osbourne, Snooki form Jersey Shore and Corbin Bleu. But something amiss happened.....
You read right, Tom & Brooke. So Team Dance week came along and he did a quickstep to Elvis.
By that time, he went on to be a part of a freestyle dance team with Elizabeth Berkley, Leah Remini and Snooki from last week, but he survived another elimination and Snooki was gone. Legendary entertainer Cher took over the ballroom and they did a disco routine.
After a score of 24, he participated in a disco dance-off with Jack and lost in a sweep. However, he recovered nicely in a Trio challenge in which he did a wacky charleston first.....
and a tasty salsa.
He was the last one safe yet again. The semifinals came and he did "Sexy & I Know IT" as a cha-cha....
and as an argentine tango.
Yet again, he was the last survivor and now he's into the finals. Let's hope he'll be the survivor of the ballroom with a mirrorball trophy.

That's it, kids. We'll return the day before Thanksgiving with a turkey-stuffed GTK. We leave you now with Noah Gutrie and his hit that shook the world. Play on, playas.
