Me: Welcome to Game Show Live! As dead as it gets,as creepy as it happens and scary whenever you don't feel like it. We are live on location in the Nolanwood Deep Discount Mall in hte historical center of Grimsborough. In its heyday, the most anchor stores like Sears, Macy's, Goldsmiths, Dillards and Best Buy come to this mall. the only ones left: Macy's, Best Buy and soon to shutter its doors....Sears. There used to be over 75 stores......but now it's just 15. Most of them locally owned like.....Coyne Dance studio and The Nap Station, my favorite place to go. Oh, and Arcade Legacy. Today it's 1/2 off playing time. Sweet! But enough about this nearly dead mall, let's focus on the news and opinions on game shows and reality TV.  And with the kids out trick or treating where you live, let's focus on our zombie ninjas, Slice & Rice to talk about the kinds of trick or treaters you look for tonight.

Now that we've settled in a food court the size of a school cafeteria, it's time to start with.....

The whatstrending.com Opening pumpkin Toss-Up story.

Get ready for the wildest celebrity guessing game ever, when new celebrity singing game show THE MASKED SINGER premieres Wednesday, Jan. 2 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Hosted by Nick Cannon, with panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, THE MASKED SINGER is a top-secret celebrity singing competition that will have everyone asking, "who's behind the mask?!" Based on an international format, and already a viral phenomenon with over half a billion fans worldwide, the series features celebrities facing off against one another with one major twist: each singer is shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costume, complete with full face mask to conceal his or her identity. With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who is singing behind the mask. Although the celebrities' identities are a mystery, between them they have a combined 65 Grammy Award nominations, 16 Emmy Award nominations, four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and four Super Bowl titles. The singers may attempt to throw the crowd off of their scent, while keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. One singer will be eliminated by the audience and judges each week, based on their performance, and will then reveal his or her true identity. It's not a "whodunit," it's a "whosungit!"
Produced by Endemol Shine North America, THE MASKED SINGER was developed for the U.S. and is executive-produced by Craig Plestis ("Minute to Win It," "The Winner Is"). Izzie Pick Ibarra ("Dancing with the Stars," "Breaking Pointe") also serves as an executive producer, and Alex Rudzinski ("Dancing with the Stars," "Grease: Live") directs. Nick Cannon, Nikki Varhely Gillingham and Rosie Seitchik serve as co-executive producers. THE MASKED SINGER is based on the South Korean format created by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp. You know what makes me not scary.......The Yay & Yawn of October.

The yay:  Devin Goda being the newest male model on Price. The male models are getting more eye candy for the ladies.

The yawn: GSN's morning hours getting slashed. Yes, slashed. Not Scythed. Slashed.

After the break, junior chefs spend the holidays. That's on the way, but first......

It's station break time! A gaggle of commericals which begins.....after these messages.

Madison Brunoehler (as an evil witch): (cackling)  None of our dead audience will receive....

A bunch of candy from Munchpak.com to give to my trick or treaters. Even though today is halloween, you should've gottten a box that's worth less than $10......or wait until November to lower the price of candy in the stories later.  Now back to our evil dentist, Pierre Scary!

(evil cakcling)

Me: um.....thanks Madi and welcome back. As we continue to tour the mall, I'm going to ride the Gravitron. The only ride in the mall and it costs a dollar. While I get in, the announcer in your head, the Match Game mistress of impressionism, Madi2Themax has some Halloween Pun-pressions for you.

(gets out the ride)

Man, I need a break in the wicker bench.....as long as it's not breakable, we'll get to the stories.

(wicker bench breaks)

Ouch. Might as well do it on the floor.

Welp, a security guard asked me to move to another bench to finish out the blog, so let's skip to a Gamestop Game break. That guard reminds me of Mandy Rose of the WWE. Anyways, test your knowledge of candy trivia.

A popular candy created in 1949 was named after what type of play?

Give yourselves a time to think after a Google Play music interlude, because for this special day, we've invited mixed tag mixmasters Scott & ryceejo for a "Devilshy good time."

(evil laugh; thunder sfx)

So, what type of play inspired a candy? Well, it was a Broadway play. but what candy was it?

The name of the product is a pun on Sally Benson's Junior Miss, a collection of her stories from The New Yorker, which were adapted by Jerome Chodorov and Joseph Fields into a successful play. The play was directed by Moss Hart and ran on Broadway from 1941 to 1943. According to one past official company history, when James Welch developed and launched the product in 1949, he named the candy after his favorite Broadway show. Yet the candy came six years after the play had closed on Broadway. Current copy on the Junior Mints box incorrectly gives the date of the Broadway play as 1949. Some may argue that this is comparable to the "potato potato" scenario, as depending on how you read "named after a top Broadway play in 1949: "Junior Miss"", it may be interpreted that it is simply referring to the candy being named in 1949.[2][3]

So Junior Mints is what inspired it.

Let's celebrate....
