A geeky Dance!

(If you happen to see the finale of the Via Lux events on Facebook, you know you happen to be a fan of Ingress, because the game lets you be on a team, or create a field around your area. It's so much fun!)

VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.

Me: Think you can flip channels and blog about about it when you want and whatever you want to? Well, I got news for you: This blog isn't Burger King, it's Cici's Pizza. We got a free pass to an endless buffet of GSN stuff so you can have a real good time. First trip up right now with....

 The whatstrending.com Starting Line.

It's another edition of.....

Let's ask the Know-It-all. Someone here in Toontown....yes, Toontown wants to know if you had a lineup for DWTS using GSN hosts, what would it be?

Well, Cartoon Bubble, to answer your question, most GSN hosts use DWTS as a springboard to further their careers. So I unveiled a dream lineup for the 24th season of DWTS and whether you like it or not, you'll touch & agree on this list. Here they are:

1. Ben Gleib
2. Donald Faison
3. Kira Soltanovich
4. Alex Trebek
5. Pat Sajak.
6. Chuck Woolery
7. Garcelle Beauvais
8. Rebecca Romijn-Stamos
9. RuPaul
10. Rove McManus
11. Deray Davis
12. Ross Shafer
13. The Soska Sisters (one of them must dance per week)

So there's your answer unless Bill Engvall or Shandi Finessey returns.

(song stops)

Now let's find out who is prettier than VO/Live action actress Britanni Johnson (Hi Beej!) and uglier than your aunt Edna. (For real.) It's the Yay & Yawn of September.

The Yay: Idiotest. It seems to improve with every week.

The Yawn: Winsanity. They took it off the twitter Banner. At least they got a Twitter page as a consolation prize.

We got a new acquisition for GSN this October and that'll be after this break for some soda....and salad.

(song fades out)

(Quick fade out)

Now that you got a clean plate, we've returned with something new to happen in October to the network.

Yep. Scare Tactics. Hosted by comic Tracy Morgan, it will be GSN's newest acquisition since NBC's Minute to Win It in 2012. As a matter of fact....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-hL1EbBfYY

This Friday on Overtime, we will tell you more on the show that will be coming to the network. Don't miss that.

(song stops)

And speaking of Scare Tactics, we must clean out our cobwebs for......

House cleaning. The schedule will look like this.....

*Hellevator will air NEW Friday at 9pm; replacing Family Feud.
*"New to GSN" episodes of Scare Tactics will air Friday at 10pm and 10:30pm; replacing Family Feud.
*Family Feud will air Friday at 11pm and 11:30pm; replacing Skin Wars: Fresh Paint (now off the schedule).
*Hellevator will encore Friday latenight at 12am and 3am; replacing Family Feud and The Newlywed Game.
*Two more "New to GSN" episodes of Scare Tactics will air Friday latenight at 1am and 1:30am; replacing Family Feud.
*Idiotest will rerun in Saturday primetime from 9-11pm (formerly 10pm-12am). Steve Harvey Family Feud will air at 11pm and 11:30pm (previously Idiotest).

Idiotest will also shift an hour back to 8 CST for 2 hours on Saturday nights and Scare tactics will air on late night hours that are even...or odd if you live in CST.

Now it's that time in the show where we have to do.....

Carni-Poll.  A haunted hayride gone way too fast. First....

Do you consider 'Scare Tactics' a good acquisition by GSN?

63% say...um no way.

Prior to its acquisition by GSN, have you heard of 'Scare Tactics'?

In a close one, 57% say...they haven't seen it. I have.

Last question....

Based on our 'Hellevator' review, do you think the show has improved from last season?

48% think it'll be better than last season. We'll see.

(song stops)

Now comes the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. Since we like Madison Brunoehler so much, we're making her impression videos into a new feature we'd like to call.....

(canned applause button)

Thanks Madi. Just so you know, it was Tatiana Maslany who got the Emmy. Now the 3rd period.

It's time for....

What GSN won't let you see. A collection of things GSN refuses to allow. I happen to see this on Friday and what you're about to see.....well.........watch.

Behold. Million Dollar Word Game. It's like Millionaire except.....there aren't any lifelines....you can't walk away on any question.....no qualifying question to figure out who's playing.....just playing with words as if Chain Reaction came back. And it's all hosted by Ian......what's his name? Jamieson. Man, I got it right. He's so boring in my opinion that........that.......

Oh yeah, sorry, I was taking a nap there. Anyway, if you get to level 5, it's $1000. Yay perhaps? Level 10 and it's a vacay or...what's behind the jar? And if you make it to Level 14.....yes, level 14, you get to match whatever behind it. It's so bad.....

Guy in control room: How bad is it?

Me: Well, Game Show Garbage will induct it in October and if you put Shopper's Casino, Card Sharks 2001 and Tic Tac Dough 1990 in the bargain bin.......you're looking at it. And it was on America One TV.....way before Youtoo America swallowed it up. Admit it, I stayed up for Macabre Theatre back then. Oh and there's this too.

But there IS more. Looking at the video, Ian said it would be a tournament later on involving the USA and UK.....Millionaire had better special weeks. But there would be a top prize come next tapings of........get this.......

5 Million Dollars. You heard me right. 5 million dollars. Think of what you can do with it....but I'll let you answer yourself. But the set is so cheap....ugh, Sqrambled Scuares had a better set. And just so you know, the latter is just plain local or on Youtube if you search that. And that my friends is Million Dollar Word Game. Are you happy now? Well......yes.

All full and have to go home right now. Today's blog is presented by this earworm that'll cure you from watching too much Feud on GSN.

Now with a remix done by The Piano Gal herself, Sara Arkell. Get down!
