VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.

Me: Welcome to a network crowded with more game shows you just can't barely change the channel. It's a channel this cool side of cable. I come to talk GSN and plays your favrites the way you like it, so tell your neighbors to see some Chain Reaction, Skin Wars, my favorite Idiotest, and more to make you sit in your seat. I'd be darned if I did the same thing. Feud is good and DOND is, too. So let's do what it do starting with.....

The Starting Line.

Man Vs. Fly. A short in which you just have one minute to kill the darn pesky fly for $100. Sounds simple, but the viewers on cable were ho-hum compared to watching paint dry.

With the 50 shorts in place, many thought they would be a lead-in to a show at the top of the hour. Idiotest was on at the time and that killed viewers instantly. However, it was the doom of having it be a lead-in to a certain show. That prompted the network to move after the first commercial break of each show. After that.....gone. But GSN is wanting to have it as a 30-minute program. That may be unlikely, but you can see MVF on Youtube over at its Door3 page. It'll be a way to laugh and humilate yourself.

And after this word, Steampunk'd goes into the semifinals. Speaking of things with Wings, here's Jamie Petitto with one....

(Quick fade out)

We're coming back again and Steampunk'd is in the semifinals. Let's see what happens.

The semi-finals took place at a garage,
and there's no time to go out of dodge,
Glenn Hetrick judge this one,
and there's lot to be won,
So let's start the semis hodgepodge.

The blue Team came up with a hovercraft,
Giving the red team somehting to laugh,
JW & Ave are the creation,
to come up with this station,
and make it built to last.

The Red Team wanted a mechanic,
and make it post-apocalyptic,
When time was called up,
both teams had enough,
and now we find out who's the short end of the stick.

Ms. Morgan took the victory,

and J.W. was 2nd for all to see,
but Ave didn't win,
and guess what, my friends?
It's now becoming the final 3.

More Steampunk?

An article tells us why Steampunk'd may not be done just yet. WIth the finals set for this week, the future of it may be uncertain for it. Speaking of that....

With the wait of Chain Reaction getting new ones around the holidays, Mike Catherwood of Chain Reaction tweeted this entry:

"The future is unknown. I love the game so much and want to continue hosting @ChainReactionUS for as long as possible."

To give you an idea of why, CR didn't come up with the same expectations as the first revival. We told you last week that it may come to syndication next year, but speculations tell me that either a renewal or cancellation is possible. Only time may tell.

Dustpans ready? It's.....

House Cleaning. For this week alone....

The only changes that can been seen are that Steve Harvey Family Feud will replace Chain Reaction on Thursday nights at 9pm and 9:30pm. The Chain Reaction reruns remain at 12am and 12:30am ET.

To compensate for the gain of the Steve Harvey version of Family Feud on Thursday nights, two John O'Hurley episodes of Family Feud will air Friday at 12pm and 12:30pm, replacing the Harvey version that usually airs there.
It will last 2 weeks until Halloween week. By next week....

*Idiotest (rerun) will air on Monday at 8pm and 8:30pm; replacing The Chase
*The Chase (rerun) will air on Tuesday at 8pm; replacing Chain Reaction.

This will knock a few CR spots out of the schedule. The week of Halloween goes like this....

*Hellevator will rerun Tuesday at 10pm; replacing Family Feud
*Hellevator will rerun Tuesday at 1am; replacing The Newlywed Game
*New episodes of Hellevator and Idiotest will continue to air Wednesday 8-10pm; rerun 11pm-1am (and Hellevator rerun Wednesday latenight 2am)
*Steve Harvey Family Feud will return Fridays at 12pm and 12:30pm. The O'Hurley version will air on Fridays in the noon hour (and the 1pm hour too) on 10/16 and 10/23.
*Despite GSN saying that the change will only last two weeks, Family Feud remains Thursday at 9pm and 9:30pm
*Richard Karn Family Feud will air Saturday morning at 9am, 9:30am and 10am; replacing Deal or No Deal. These are Halloween-themed episodes and is a one-week only change.
*John O'Hurley Family Feud will air Saturday morning at 10:30am; replacing Deal or No Deal. This is a Halloween-themed episode and is a one week only change.
*New to GSN episodes of Family Feud continue (from the 2013-14 season) Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 11pm and 11:30pm ET.
*Man Versus Fly returns Wednesday at 10pm and Friday at 11pm (both during Family Feud). They will air in the first commercial break.

Harvey Feud comes back to its noon slot after time off and Hellevator gets encores on Tuesday. However, MVF will only air 2 nights that week. Really?

Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. Here is more of Svengoolie with this horrific hit.

Uh, 3rd period, you're ready now.....

Nobody ever made a GSN program look very easy than RuPaul Charles. The song "Supermodel (You Better Work)" was his/her best known hit and is currently the host of his/her own "Drag Race" show on Logo. When GSN signed him/her up for Skin Wars, there were 2 things that made it special.....Rupaul and bodypainting. That led him/her to do a special called "Fresh Paint," and pretty soon, GSN turned it into an upcoming series. The good thing about RuPaul is that when you watch Skin Wars and see hoe he/she judges.......bingo!

I didn't come to stay here and talk about RuPaul's career, I came to get out and leave, so I'm out the door. Today's blog is presented by Mr. Rogers' Peacock Neighborhood. The new thriller that's a speedy delivery above all the rest. It'll make the neighborhood of make-believe look like Psycho.
