Me: Crank the party capacity to 11, because one flick of the switch to GSN will make you feel like you took a battery acid trip into game show heaven. Whether it's Feud at 2, Feud again at 3 or Catch 21 at 4, the voodoo that GSN does so well will keep you coming back for more. Time to get into it. We begin with....
The Starting Line.
Over the years, there had been many rivalries. Many sports fans know the Lakers vs. Celtics is the obvious, and the cartoon fans believe it's Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd or the Road Runner and Wyle E. Coyote. But ever since Kenny Vs. Spenny, GSN has.......Man vs. Fly.
GSN has acquired the series for 50 programs and John Mate and Pat Cowell (please don't google their names) will call the play-by-play for this epic battle. In it, one man will have 60 seconds to kill a fly for a cash prize. Sounds easy, right? To make things more fair, they bring in a weapon to make the fly go useless. Even the preview speaks for itself.

And it's all thanks to GSN Sports where Ben Gleib will be in-studio to introduce them in the studio. GSN Sports? Are they thinking a real life version of Rocket League? Anyways, it'll be on tonight and next week, I will provide a review haiku on it. It'll be the only show to make you go.....WTH?

Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. I want to introduce you to actress Lena Nicole Thomas. You may know her as Karla on the web series "Wish it, Inc." or as the Little Mermaid on "Fairy Tale Therapy." She does "Drunk Karaoke" on Youtube. Perhaps she's the boyfriend of Shawn DeLoache, a writer. But what you may not know is, she is a singer and talented bassist. Here's Lena doing Louis Armstrong.

This year, Idiotest will be turning 1 year old. Fans were hooked to see what a new game show is like. Close to 2 seasons, it's still a hit, So I decided to dress up in my beatnik outfit and read a poem in honor of one of GSN's hitmakers. So Lena, get on the upright bass, Shira Lazar, why don't you pound the bongos for me, please? Sonya Belousova, dazzle me with the ivories. And I'll get on the mic and perform my piece on Idiotest. So ladies.....play.

And I wanna talk about Idiotest's first year.
GSN found a man named Ben,
and made the show a lot funnier since then.
The puzzles they create makes us realize,
how contestants & us get tricked with our eyes.
From Words that throw them off to double negative,
GSN will keep the party going as long as they live.
From the at-home puzzle to find where your finger lands,
to the smart money round to see one team win 10 grand.
This is where GSN comes for the best,
so Happy 1-year birthday to.....IDIOTEST!!!!!

Now what I've should've done is have Man vs. Fly run after Skin Wars, take a 2-minute commercial break, let Idiotest go at 9:05 and run for 25 minutes, then have the 2nd Man vs. Fly, this time at 10, with the same being Family Feud and that's it. So why are the weird timeslots? Well, back in the day, TBS used to run them at 5 after every half hour and per hour, especially WCW. Now TV Land does the weirdness. So why did they join GSN? I don't know, to watch a Man beat a fly for some dough, that's why. If they dislike what teh changes go, then GSN has no choice but to take it off for good. We'll see what happens this Wednesday night.

The final 5 didn't need to check into an ER for surgery when they did an assingment....on anatomy. Cheryl Ann was the A+ student in the Skin Wars anatomy class getting a yr.'s supply of WOLF FX makeup & the right to appear on their website for a yr. However, the class prepared for the big test. Alec Gillis was the guest judge for this exam in which they had to do robot-designed pieces....on bodybuilders. Avi was the one that scored with the Iron Dome 3000 and Rio was expelled from the show. ANd they all lived.....until the next show.

Sticking with Skin Wars, they're doing a spinoff called "Skin Wars: Fresh Paint." 6 artists have not tried body painting yet and they will in this one-hour special. Here's how it works.
In round 1, the six artists will compete, then three get eliminated. In
round two, the remaining three are each paired up with one of the Skin Wars season one contestants, they are Season 1 contestants Dutch Bihary, Gear Duran and season one winner Natalie Fletcherand the painters will choose them. One of those three are eliminated and the mentor of that eliminated artist (either Natalie, Dutch or Gear) join the two judges and they are Emma Cammack, a master body painter, and Mat Gleason, founder of the Coagula Journal. After the last challenge between the two, a winner is crowned.
The prize is the same as Idiotest.....$10,000. August 26th at 7 CDT will be the date for this special. Let's hope it'll be better than "The Line" last year.
