VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.
Me: Hey there. Let's shake our rumps to the GSN funk. Don't stand up or change it to something else, just stay with the network and you'll be okay. Let's get up and get down, roll with the hardcore sounds of GSN as I tell you what went down that week, starting with....
The Starting Line.
It's okay to post a sneak preview of a certain show to give you a taste of what to expect from viewers before going on the air. Ohno Minute used to do it and now Chain Reaction will do the same. They decide to give viewers a taste of what's to come by putting it at....2:30 CDT. TO be honest, that's 5 hours away from the actual season premiere. According to sources at http://gameshownetworknews.blogspot.com/, They will show ep. 39 of the 40 shown before the series revival begins. Now come to think of it, it was a dumb move by GSN to place it there. Most afternoon viewers get hooked on Lane's version as a favorite around here, but seeing Catherwood's version may be a different story. We'll see if it was a good thing or a bad thing tomorrow.

After the break, why is Harvey Feud so.....so racial? The answer when this GSN block party resumes.
(song fades out)
(Quick fade out)
The party continues. Steampunk'd is almost here and next month will be the time in which these steampunk lovers will vie for the cash prize according to its press release. The players will be that of:

And to keep the topic of Skin Wars going, I want to tell you a story.
With the remaining 9 in tow, summer was already here even though it is right now, and the first challenge alone had them to decorate into exotic swimsuits. Instances were: Avi doing Phuket, which is in Thailand, Arun doing MIA which I have no idea, and especially DawnMarie who went with outer space. It was out of this world, but Avi got the W here and took home $5000 worth of glitter and body art accesories. That's $5K worth of glitter to cover the entire art classes of every grade in elementary school......oh, where was I...oh yes, The main challenge had RuPaul feeling giddy as they design drag queens.....like her/him. Everyone went from Shakira to Lady Gaga, but Aryn got the W with Cyndi Lauper as does Avi and Dawn Marie with Beyonce. Sadly, Fernello was the slowest in this drag race but barely escaping was Rio, Lana and Cheryl Ann. ANd they all lived.....until the next show.

Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. Now before Holly Bowling, a piano teacher from San Francisco pounds the ivories for you, This song she's about to transcribed was based on a Phish jam back at the end of July in 2013. And now, based on her experience at that concert, she's about to share the same jam with you. BTW, you can pre-order her album at http://www.hollybowling.com/, but for right now, buckle your seatbelts, put all tray tables at an upright position, and don't take a potty break until the end. You are about to witness in what would be the longest performance in GTK history, all 35 minutes and 27 seconds of pure, unfiltered madness. And here..........we..............START!
Everybody okay? Good, but unfasten your seatbelts, the 3rd period is starting.
The great Richard Dawson once said in his Family Feud finale: "Let ANYBODY come on this show, anyone that can play this game, no matter what color or creed, no matter if they're in a wheelchair or they have no sight."
Well, what he said was true. Before O' Hurley left, Family Feud was a melting pot of people who left the game unchanged and the legacy unchanged, but when Harvey came to town, over 75% of Harvey hosts has a white family playing against a black family. Would you be surprised as to why this is? Well, first of all, please don't ask why Harvey act nicer to white families and how he acts crazier to black families, How the questions in his version play out and how the humor of the show is turned up a bit. Even though it was all by either blood, marriage, adoption or whatever when it got started in Florida, the next season and going forward went to Atlanta where the Braves and Falcons play. To put it another way: 32% is black or African American while 55% is white. If you have looked at the audience at a Family Feud episode taped in Atlanta, almost all of the audience is non White. This was all since 2011, a season after leaving Florida. Also, another stat shows that half of the families are from Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and Kentucky. But prior to Harvey, most families hailed from California. Some were from Texas or New York, but the gameplay didn't matter. Now according to the research in Wikipedia based on the 2010 census, Most of the top 10 including Maryland have a rate of no more than 37% african american. They're all southern states for the 9 on the list. infoplease.com also shows that Detriot, Jackson, Mississippi and Miami Gardens, FL., all hold the top 3 highest percentage of african-americans in 2010. Today, Harvey Feud is still a success on the network with TV Land and BET making appearances recently and also, taking the top spot away from Wheel in syndication. So next time when the new season arrives, will an Asian, Vietnamese, Hispanic or Chinese family play in Atlanta? You be the judge.
Party's over, homeslices. Today's blog is presented by donut wallpaper. It's Ariana Grande-licking.....ick!
