VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Jason Kelly.
Me: Whether you figured out what that interception at the tail end of the Super Bowl was or being angry as to why the groundhog gave us 6 more weeks of winter.....sort of, you're staying commited to GSN and that's what we do. Thanks for being part of it. The blizzard of information begins with....
The Starting Line.
GSN had something in common with American Dream Derby and Family Trade....they were all unscripted. GSN is planning to do most of that. Amy Introcaso Davis has this line of dialogue...
“Our bosses have let us play a lot in the field,”
By that, she meant those that didn't work, but Skin Wars was the bright spot last year as does ITAC. She goes on to say....
“They’ve given us a fair amount to produce and figure out exactly what’s going to hit the sweet spot for the new GSN. It’s not your grandmother’s GSN anymore.”
Where has the variety gone? With 10-12 on the way and food not being an issue according to realscreen.com, GSN has changed their tune. Can't they change it to all classics? They might, but add in Idiotest, Chase, about 20 Harvey Feuds and we'll be okay.

Time to let Agent Archer play a solo for a few minutes, because after this, Chase ratings, our first shorty of the month and the start of Lindsey Stirling appreciation month. Stay tuned. I pinky promise.

Back once more and let's talk about the Chase for a minute.
It seems that The Chase returns to form and it never lets us down. Well, The Chase cumulated to one million viewers in its Season 4 premiere for both the 8:00pm ET and 11:00pm ET airings (749K at 8pm; 294K at 11pm=1.043 million viewers).
Since the Season 3 premiere, The Chase (at 8pm only, the actual premiere) is up 56% in females ages 25-54, up 81% in females ages 18-49 and up 59% in females ages 18-34. The Chase is also up significantly versus season one and two premieres.
This was all according to a press release. Guess who's the big dog now?
But I heard a rumor...
...that the Beast himself, Mark LaBett may host the new version of Chain Reaction. Sadly, GSN wanted a female host and Danica McKellar is rumoured to be on the list. Im hoping she may do way better than Dylan Lane if that happens.
ITAC is getting a premiere date. The freshman hit of last year will be on March 26th.
And finally, Idiotest wants you & your partner to win ten thousand dineros. Go to:

Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. It must be Lindsey Stirling appreciation month again. Here's a song that got dropped last month.
And it's the 3rd period.
We start the month of shorties with Double Dare. Growing up, the Nickelodeon show was all I knew, but upon further research, the name was made first by Jay Wolpert while working for G-T. The premise was 2 players in an isolation booth knowing what's the answer from clues to ring in and shut your opponent out and along the way dare or double dare somebody on another clue to get to 5 benjamins first. Then, a chance to multiply that times 10 to face 3 PhDs better known as...you guessed it...the spoilers. Their job: Think of a harder answer in an attempt not to let them guess the subject. Add in the theme that later became Card Sharks and you got a 1976-77 shortie.

Time for Rachel London to softly sing you to sleep. This blog is presented by songs that have a cha-cha dance in it. As long as your party of 20 is involved.
