Feeling Skinny?

(Guardians of The galaxy, When The Game Stands Tall, Let's Be Cops, If I Stay and plenty of others are what you need to buy with Fandango. You buy tickets online, print them out and let the box office know what movie you purchased. It's that easy. Except for the concessions.)

VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.

Me: Hey. Hope you're having a good week so far and September is right around the corner. But you hit a dead end which is actually a point to go ahead and that's.......

The Starting Line.

That was notable actor Orlando Jones doing a challenge that has become a phenom. The ALS Ice bucket challenge nominates somebody to pour ice water over their head and noimates somebody else in the course of 24 hours and either takes it or donates $100 to ALS. Sounds simple, huh? Well, Graham ELwood, Steve Harvey, Jeff Foxworthy and Dylan Lane have taken it via Facebook. If I took it right now, I would get.....

Ben Gleib.....

Rebecca Romijn.....

Robin Slonnia.....

Rupaul.....

and Vicki Lawrence to be ice bucket candidates. That would be a great challenge.

(song stops)

Now the segment that proves there are 2 sides to every story. The Yay & the Yawn. Here's the August edition of it.

The Yay: Mark Labett. His trivia knowledge kept wannabees in the firing line. Which is a solitary confinement room if you ask me.

The Yawn: A west coast cousin team on Idiotest. When they got there, they were ready for anything and alas all they got was.......$325. You're looking at a potential WTH? Golden Brain award in the making.

A commercial interruption means we'll return with Skin Wars scoring higher....we think and The Chase's new way of casting. Stay Tuned, ya dig?

(song fades out)

(Quick fade out)
Back again and Skin Wars continues to crush the competition. A surprise runaway hit, scored a series high 725,000 total viewers. That's a 19% spike in the ratings. Why does a show nobody wants to like has a show everybody else likes? Hmmm....well, to give you the 3rd episode and I forgot to do it on our FB group Page, we bring in Kandee Johnson for a quick recap and interview. Kandee take it away.....

However for Idiotest reruns, it took a clobbering much to Skin Wars' biggest-seeing episode yet.

Idiotest reruns at 10pm and 10:30pm ET on Wednesday night showed a huge fall after the highly rated Skin Wars. Idiotest at 10pm ET had a 63% drop in total viewers and a 68% drop in the 18-49 demo. The 10pm ET rerun of Idiotest delivered only 268,000 total viewers and 95,000 18-49 viewers.

The 10:30pm ET, second rerun of Idiotest dropped another 36% in total viewers from the first rerun, with 173,000 total viewers and a 60% drop in 18-49 viewers, down to only 38,000 18-49 viewers.

Ouch. Shows you why Skin Wars is better than Idiotest.

GSN is playing keep, Marry or Kill like any game would.

Keep: It Takes a Church. Why?

In its inaugural season, more than seven million viewers tuned into IT TAKES A CHURCH. The show delivered triple-digit growth among W18-34 (+100%) and W18-49 (+117%), and double-digit growth among W25-54 (+94%), P18-49 (+92%) and P25-54 (+72%), vs. GSN’s year-to-date time period average.

Maybe they should keep bible.

Marry: The Chase. Duh!

Throughout its season three run, the series has posted impressive ratings growth among P18-49 (+52%), P25-54 (+56%), W25-54 (+36%), W18-49 (+30%), with total viewership up 37%, vs. GSN’s year-to-date time period average.

And the Beast keeps the contestants otu of line.

Kill: Mind of a Man. 40 shows. Done. After 1 season. Still in late nights. Don't need to explain.

Now it's.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHwHiymSojk

Carni-Poll. A merry-go-round of GSN stuff.

Which of the following are problems with 'Idiotest'?

We rank them 1-2-3. Number 1 is it's too cheap, 2 says it's because of the host Ben Gleib and a tie for 3rd says it's not enough knowledge and why the gameplay is too slow. May we say.....cancellation?

Are you satisfied with 'The Chase' getting a twenty episode fourth season?

54% say of course it is.

Are you satisfied with 'It Takes a Church' getting an eight episode second season?

53% say.....yes it is.

Last question....

Which of these originals will you watch on GSN in 2015?

The chase gets first with 87%, ITAC getting 2nd and App Wars 3rd.

(song stops)

Now the 2nd intermission presented by swagbucks.com. One of many artists on 3Peace records founded by Boyce Avenue, Hannah Trigwell is getting better with music. Here's her with this.

 On to the 3rd period.

The Chase's new season is....just on the horizon. chasecasting.com will be the link if you wanna get in. Auditiosn will take place in....

(brings down board)

September and October in Los Angeles (September 6), Washington DC (September 13), Houston (September 13), New York City (September 20), Chicago (September 27), San Francisco (September 27), Indianapolis (October 4), Boston (October 11), Seattle (October 11).

(brings board back up)

But there's also one other thing they put in......

Submitting a video. TPIR used to do an Instagram contest to see who would be the best contestant on the show in addition to actual conestant picking prior to airtime. Heck, Idiotest should follow that rule and do the same thing. The American Bible Challenge would hold a vine conest to see who can say a bible verse the fastest. Just because it's a 6-second app thing. ITAC........don't think so. So if you're smarter enough to beat the Beast, take my advice and click the link.

Holy Friojoles batman, it's over! Today's blog is presented by your local library. Wanna study up for the Chase? Get to your local library today. I promise you, it'll be a study hall.
