VO: This is GSN The Know. The most informed and entertained blog in the United States of America. Now, from the WIlton-North building, here is the man about games, Pierre Kelly.
Me: Hey all you game heads out there, Pierre Kelly riding the waves of GSN like Sons of Anarchy. Hilty is riding in the sidecar and he's got the first period. Ride on, Hilty!
Family Feud came in 1-5 with a tie for 5th place, but Baggage came in 7th tied with Feud and the latter came in 9th & 10th. Now the bike crashers.......
A pair of Baggage came in first and 2012 Pyramid split between a trio of Feuds. After another pair of Baggage shows, Feud, Match Game and Password Plus rounded it out. As for the eyeballs......
This week: 311,000/252,000
Last week: 305,000/260,000
For the Spetember-October Transition week, The Primetime viewers were a bit up than last week, but for the day, 8,000 viewers were lost. That's the first period. Rev it up and out, Hilty!
Soon after this break, Minute news and later, credit crunches. All after this.
(song fades out)
(quick fade out)
The 2nd period presented by the GSNN blogspot site is up & running. Minute to Win It will continue throughout this month, but come November, it'll either go away for good or make it more limited. In the meantime, it'll remain on Sunday nights that same month. Oh, and I found out that it was 12/7 on a Tuesday in another year. Yikes.
And if you want to know what you need to improve on GSN or anything in general. Please click on this link right here and seeif we can improve the network or not.
Todd Newton will release his new book called "Feedback: Friend or Foe." Presenting feedback as a positive driving force both personally and professionally, Newton explores the history of feedback, its many benefits, and the art of delivering it in a positive way.
From examining the different methods of offering feedback to sharing techniques of using it as a force for growth in one's career, Todd Newton all but eliminates the negative stigma often associated with feedback and spotlights it as a necessary component of success.
No word yet on when Kennedy of MTV fame will write the foreword.
And finally, there could be a possibilty that Leah Greenwald who had been on Jeopardy! in the past, may return to the decades tournament. Time for the 2nd period preesnted by swagbucks.com. Svengoolie returns to drop another bomb.
Let's drop the puck on the 3rd period.
Ever since 2004, GSN did something no other netork did. Shrinkwrap the credits into a smaller box. Around here, it's caleed credit crunching. WHy is that? Well, it's a greta way to save the network money, but our fans say that's a waste of money. Prior to 2004, all they showed was fee plugs and the pepole behind the show. It was like watching it on network television. Nowadays, it's hard to see the pepole who work on Chain Reaction by getting it close to the screen. Why are they doing this? Well, most TV networks get to see the credits on the lower half or upper right right of your screen and they been doing that since then. All this credit crunchingin the middle of fee plugs made you wish you'd cry, but no. This experiment has got to go. If GSN were to get rid of credit crunching right now, it would see all the fee plugs and the staff in no time flat. That would make it more senseful.
That's the blog. Tihs week's sponsor is Potato Chips. SNack on it.
