(theme fades out)

Happy leap year, every single one of you, Pierre Kelly back again for GSN The Know, getting you all set up for Spring to come, and changes in effect for the entire GSN Schedule next month, glad to have you with us, let's start with the Ratings Report. Malcontent, put some springs into the numbers.

Fifth Grader placed UNO, dos and res for the week, with Family Feud rounding out the top 10. DOND was scattered in some spots. Now the bottom 10:

Card Sharks took home 3 big bags of aluminum foil for the first 3 slots, with a biggest bag in the final slot. Catch 21, however got 2 spots above it. We spring to the highest position DWTS made.... At:

Number 102. The top 100 wonder slips out of the countdown and kept falling with every show. That ends quarter one. Malcontent, spring yourself out.

(Malcontent leaves)

On to quarter 2 with notes about the the GSN Schedule come this March. After getting fooled by what was supposed to be Flashback Fridays, it'll return on March 16th, which is I believe the week of St. Patrick's day. Also, TNG and Baggage will get fresh new episodes starting on the same week. And if you want your Baggage across the pond:

Channel 4, according to broadcast.com is making a pilot of the Jerry Springer hit.

If you want your TNG fix in Austin.....

Then they have a raunchy version of the Sherriwed hit as part of the Austin variety show. I'll stick with the Eubanks version, thank you. And finally.....

DWTS has a new cast of characters according to what GSN says in the contract. They include Jaleel White of Family Matters, soul legend Gladys Knight, Maria Menounous of Extra and GSN's own Sherri Shepard. Can't wait for that. Halftime now, and we conclude a month of harpists with a New York City girl whose interests are Science Fiction and acting. This is Erin Hill and her Psychedelic harp. Cue it up, CP3!!!!!

And with an scid trip, we take an Aleve into the 3rd quarter. What did one GSN poster say on DWTS right now:

"The show is a disgrace to GSN. GET IT OFF. "

Word. Next, we go into the kindergarten category. This post is brought to you by the letter D:

"D means Dancing, and D means Disaster."

And that's what happened when the ratings came out and I gave you my report on it. Next....

"Funny I brought up the music rights issues, because Season 4 did involve copyrighted music, including a song by the P-Cat Dolls, Billy Joel, and I think there was a song by Destiny's Child. They probably had no problem clearing those songs, yet Billy Joel, who cleared a song in Season 4, won't clear "Uptown Girl", which is in Season 5. "

And why did they skip it? Because they want to pick a season at random playing Pin The Tail On The Donkey? Perhaps the poster below will give you a better answer:

"They're skipping ahead because they're desperate for ratings...even though this proves it stinks royally."

Yeah, but what about the other seasons? One poster says:

"Hopefully they stay in the vault...forever. "

That's about it, kids. I protest it. On the bright side, 100K Pyramid comes back to where it belongs and one poster knows that:

"The ratings for DWTS showed improvement the week after they announced they were going back to Pyramid so they gave it one more shot thinking they may have been too hasty. They aren't going to do it again. It's gone. They may change their minds 8 times as to what goes on there before it happens, but DWTS wont be there. "

And I hope it won't be another "Why You Hate DWTS" talker. About 3 quarters down, 1 more to go and we end Sex & Romance month with a stinker from last year:

If I said 2011 was going to be a year of meh, it could be either mean Improv-a-Ganza, The New Lingo or Love Triangle and that latter choice is what i'm about to tell. You see, the show was hosted by talk show annoyance Wendy Williams and it involves a real-life love triangle. Yes, a real love triangle. After one dater tells us his or her story, the involvement is his or her triangle get their sides. Then, we move into the past. The triangle would reveal dirty little secrets. Next, the present. A compatibilty test is taken and then from here on out, A trustbuster lie detector test. SO far, I'm asking yourself, is it a game show or a talk show? Then comes the Future. Should one get picked, it'll be a slide show of what's to come for the future date. Lastly, the decision. It involves 2 buzzers, both of which you have to close one door in order to leave the door open for the date you chose. After 40 shows, it was in the process of a second season, but alas, it was gone along with Drew Carey's improv show. Just to show you how bad 2011 was for GSN.

Time to hop out the Video Arcade Lounge, jump in the seat of my 1990 Plymouth Sundance and watch more GSN with Sun Chips and Coke. Before you jump to conclusions, consider these options:
