That Thrifting Show with Lara Spencer has been renewed for a second season on Hulu and Freeform.

The unscripted competition series, from executive producer and host Spencer, will return in 2027. Season 1, which premiered in March, is currently streaming.

In the competition series, vintage design expert Spencer presents two designer duos with identical rooms. With just 48 hours and a strict budget, generally totaling around $2,000, the teams must hunt through vintage and thrift stores to design their way to beautiful, layered, finished rooms. It’s a stylish and sustainable race against the clock.

Design experts Robert Hartwell, Preston Konrad and Dani Klarić serve as judges.

The series is produced for ABC News Studios by Butternut, a division of Wheelhouse Entertainment, and Envisionary Productions. Lara Spencer serves as executive producer, alongside Courtney White and Cheryl Wayne for Butternut, Jon Rosen for Envisionary Productions, and senior executive producer David Sloan and Melia Patria for ABC News Studios.

So that's your weekend?

Three days was as much as one Love Island UK contestant could handle. George Knight has left the show, having only just arrived at the Villa alongside fellow bombshell Yasmin Hadlow.

The two caused their share of chaos from the outset, sending home two people, Ellie and Samraj, as part of a secret mission from host Maya Jama. Except, they didn’t go home after all…

George had gotten his share of negativity on Instagram since joining the show. The Dorking Wanderers FC player previously said he doesn’t mind causing some friction. The show’s network ITV explained his decision in a statement.

George is no longer in the running for the £50,000 prize or romance on Love Island UK. Personal reasons are all we know about his decision to walk away from that opportunity. ITV’s statement reads, “For private reasons, George has left the Love Island Villa.” The statement goes on to say, “We have a duty of care towards George and as such will not be commenting further.”

Being a football or soccer player, depending on where you come from, George said, going into this season, he’s naturally competitive. He added that, “If there’s something in my way, I want to put my best foot forward.” At the same time, George says he doesn’t seek to find drama. As for his dating theory, it wasn’t to dive too deep into something like that.

After getting to know Robyn Langton, George wound up dumping Samraj. He did that with the intention of pursuing Mica Harris. Yasmin, meanwhile, sent Ellie packing in hopes of exploring her connection with Aidan Murphy. Unbeknownst to George and Yasmin, those two aren’t actually off the show. They are set to make a surprise return in a later episode.

News of George’s exit comes the year after the show was hit with a controversial moment. Kyle Ashman was kicked out after a report surfaced of an arrest he had previously had for an alleged machete attack.

But it's almost the weekend no matter how you slice it and this next segment has these qualifications to make it official.

Someone who can stream for more than one year of his or her own time, can be of some certain variety or within the realm outside of video games (i.e. Artwork, Music), viewership numbers on averages and the category most important: Play Jackbox games if necesssary. Please help me introduce you all to.................

This month's recipient: KevinsCafeLive. The duo in question is Kevin Chambers and Bb. They're a duo from NYC where the Bravo Clubhouse is and they make beautiful music together. And that isn't bad. Right? Right. Here's a perfect example of this.

NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and Lil Snack today announced the launch of Jeopardy! Today on the Peacock mobile app, a new daily interactive game exclusively on to Peacock subscribers.

The game brings one of the most beloved and enduring franchises in television history into the daily gaming format — offering fans a fresh, bite-sized Jeopardy! experience every single day, right inside the Peacock app.

Jeopardy! Today is the latest addition to Peacock’s growing suite of companion games and interactive experiences, which have become a meaningful driver of daily engagement for Peacock’s subscriber base – 10% of mobile users have played a game on Peacock.

Jeopardy! Today gives players a fresh board of nine clues each day, with new content tied to pop culture and NBCUniversal programming on Peacock. Players can win by completing a tic-tac-toe — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — or, for the die-hard fans, by completing the full board. The distinctly modern yet familiar format is designed to be accessible to casual players while giving superfans a worthy daily challenge that rewards deep knowledge of the Jeopardy! canon and introduces a layer of strategic choice that goes beyond simple trivia recall.

All content for Jeopardy! Today is licensed material specifically for the game, ensuring that it carries the same intellectual rigor, wit and authenticity that has made the franchise a cultural institution for over four decades. Whether you’re a first-time player or a Jeopardy! devotee, every clue delivers the unmistakable feel of the show.

“These companion games and interactive experiences on Peacock have proven to be a powerful way to give fans more of what they want – expanding the content they love into something they can engage with every day,” said John Jelley, Senior Vice President, Product and User Experience, Peacock. “Games like Jeopardy! Today extend the magic of these iconic franchises by inviting fans to actively participate and deepen their connection to their favorite shows. This also delivers on our broader vision to build Peacock into a destination where entertainment isn’t just watched, but experienced.”

“Expanding a franchise as iconic as Jeopardy! into new formats requires thoughtful stewardship of the brand and a deep understanding of what the fans value,” said Sally Umsted, SVP, Brand Partnerships, Licensing, and Experiences, Sony Pictures Television, Game Shows division, in a statement. “With Jeopardy! Today, we saw an opportunity to extend the fandom into a new daily game that feels modern, interactive, and native to how audiences now engage with entertainment, while still preserving the unmistakable Jeopardy! experience. Peacock has an unwavering commitment to innovation and creates meaningful engagement outside of the series, making it the perfect platform for a daily interactive experience.”

“At Lil Snack, our mission is to bring play to the world,” said Eric Berman, CEO of Lil Snack, in a statement. “By reimagining iconic franchises like Jeopardy! into something bite-sized, fresh, and worth coming back to every single day. We built Jeopardy! Today to surprise and delight audiences with a reason to come back to Peacock daily —to play the game in the same destination where they already watch the show.”

CONTESTANTS INCLUDE WELL KNOWN NAMES SUCH AS MIRCO BERGAMASCO, TANIA CAGNOTTO, ELISABETTA CANALIS, JURY CHECHI, FEDERICA PELLEGRINI, ALVISE RIGO AND LUIS SAL

29 May 2026 - The official trailer for Physical Italia - da 100 a 1 is out now. The first Italian edition of the unprecedented physical competition produced by Endemol Shine Italy will be available on Netflix from 11 September, every Friday.

Within the framework of Rimini Wellness 2026, Netflix has also unveiled all the release dates for the episodes of Physical Italia - da 100 a 1: the first three episodes will be available from Friday 11 September, episodes 4 and 5 from Friday 18 September, episodes 6 and 7 from Friday 25 September, and the final on Friday 2 October.

In this high-stakes competition series, 100 contestants face off in grueling physical trials designed to push their bodies and mental toughness to the limit. From Olympic champions to content creators, from rugby players to celebrities: in the Lingotto arena, all hierarchies are cast aside. Strength, agility and nerves of steel are the only weapons you need to survive. In the "Hall of Busts", past medals count for nothing; what matters is how much fire you carry inside. Because in the end, only one of them will take home the victory.

Among the 100 participants there are also familiar faces: former Italian national rugby player Mirco Bergamasco, multiple Olympic medalist Tania Cagnotto, kickboxing athlete and Italian showbiz icon Elisabetta Canalis, "lord of the rings" Jury Chechi, swimming legend Federica Pellegrini, former rugby player and TV personality Alvise Rigo and content creator Luis Sal.

The casting process was extensive: over 1,000 people were contacted, 187 Zoom auditions conducted (amounting to 130 hours), and 137 in-person callbacks held. Contestants range in age from 22 to 60. The selected profiles represent a wide array of disciplines - from triathlon to wrestling, from American football to skeleton, including Hyrox and Calcio Storico Fiorentino.

This project is directed by Alessio Pollacci. The editorial curator of the project is Roberta Briguglia, with Tommaso Marazza as project lead. The writing team includes Lorenzo Campagnari, Valerio Trapasso, Christian Monaco, Federica Riva, Antonio Moreno, and Barbara Strambi. The set design is by Marco Calzavara, with cinematography by Ivan Pierri. The executive producers are Luca Pennisi and Giampaolo Toselli.

Physical Italia: da 100 a 1 joins the franchise's line-up, alongside the recent announcements of Physical: Asia, Physical 100: Mexico, Physical 100: Sweden and Physical: 100 USA.

Sick and Peppermint Twisted

“Drag Race” alum Peppermint admitted she wished RuPaul Charles would speak out against the Ellisons, fearing what was to come for the beloved competition series.

“It would be wonderful to see anyone on that show speak out against, sort of, what is happening in our country with regards to the control over politics and policy and the intersection again of money with politics, especially as related to the Ellisons and the purchase of Paramount,” Peppermint said in an interview with Uncloseted Media on Tuesday.

“We’ll know when the takeover is complete, when RuPaul is like, ‘I love Larry Ellison,’ cause that’s probably happening. They’re gonna get a script. So let’s just wait for them to get a script and start talking about how great President Trump is, whatever, I don’t know.”

The host of the most Emmy award-winning reality TV series in history has yet to speak out against the new ownership of the network. This is a notable tidbit, as “Drag Race” streams on MTV, which is owned by Paramount. David Ellison, the son of billionaire Larry Ellison and owner of Paramount Skydance, has been transparent about his family’s friendly relationship with President Donald Trump.

In fact, Ellison has recently cozied up to Trump’s administration as the company attempts to finalize their Warner Bros. Discovery merger. The Warnermount deal, as it has been dubbed by the press, will see the Ellison-run company own a chunk of legacy media, including CNN, which has sparked First Amendment concerns.

I did tell you earlier today is National Movie Day. Throughout June, I wanted to give you a list of alternatives to make sure that if Press Your Luck, Millionaire or Celebrity Family Feud or all 3 is on ABC, I would suggest something else. Making fun of movies goes all the way back to the time when horror hosts ranging from Ghoulardi to Elvira and the current generation going from Ivonna Cadaver to Marlena Midnite critique what went on as the movie progressed. They just let you watch the movie and nothing else. One show I would recommend makes fun DURING the movie. Might I suggest.......

Mystery Science Theater 3000. The best thing to ever happen in Minneapolis since Prince and......The Jason Show which airs at 10 am on RTE America Pacific Bay 36.1 and in your hometown too. Inspired by Marlo and The Movie Machine, this show sets the standard for a rabid fanbase of a human and bunch of robots stuck in the galaxy while 2 scientists make the human tick off. Such a classic of the 90's. Here's an example of why.......

Oh, I got another example.......

How about one more?

Just look up MST3k on Youtube, look for it on the Pluto TV app or on Twitch and that solve all your problems for having Steve Harvey referee the cast of Loose Women against The Chris Moyles Show.

I-Ight, here's Lindsay Beth Harper to take us into Saturday and Sunday. Tony Zazza, bring me your #sundayfunday playlist.

Closing Theme

#TodayILearned that 72 hours in Love Island can compare to 30 minutes on Gilligan's Island.

Please be kind, be great and stay smart the next time you hear this sound.........
