The Yay: Press Your Luck. They brought back an audience after not having it for almost 2 years here.

The Yawn: Walk The Line. Can't there be another singing competition with a gimmick name itself......Walk The Plank?

We take a global excursion. Would you like to come? That'll happen after Freeform's world premiere televised screening of The Fantastic Four   and Giannotto and Jeffrey on WWE 680 and Rockies vs. Braves on Bally Midway Sports South  and all the rest on Superstation WTBS. Stay right there.

(fade to break)

Colbi: Some members of our viewing audience will receive......

Some Freddy's of course. Today is the last day to enter to win free freddy's for 365 of the year. Enter at:

And here's a man who won't spend 5 nights at the other Freddy's.........Pierre Kelly!

Me: I thank you so darn much Colbi. Today is a day game shows still exist. We remember the times in which fashion and the style of the hosts made it easy. Times have changed as we went from dresses and suits to a typical come dressed as you are church service. It doesn't matter if you wore war paint like the sweaters on Trivia Trap or getting ready to wage war on the yellow or red side on Fun House or trying to make sure 30 days on the island is the pathway to a million dollars on Survivor. We're here to have a whole lot of fun. United by legends of the past, upbringing a future of variety to give you a genre watched by many. #togetherwewatch

This podcast gives you something that'll make you feel lunar and loopy inside. The web link for this is..........

The 34th running of the The Amazing Race will feature several franchise firsts — beginning with the introduction of an international starting line.

When the veteran CBS reality competition returns on Wednesday, Sept. 21 (now airing at a later time, 10/9c) with its milestone 400th episode, 12 globe-trotting teams will travel to Munich, Germany to begin the race.

Season 34 is also doing away with non-elimination legs. "With one team being eliminated at the end of every leg, it will be one of the most grueling races in the show's history," according to the official release. Additionally, "teams will be in for a surprise when host Phil Keoghan teases a game-changing element in the first leg of the race."

Featured locations this season include Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Iceland and Nashville. Racers will also visit the ancient city of Petra, in Jordan, "where teams will ride a train and experience a scene reminiscent of the 1963 Oscar-winning film Lawrence of Arabia, perform a Jordanian folk dance and learn the Arabic alphabet."

The cast, which was first revealed Wednesday, includes Big Brother 23 couple Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss, New York Jets head coach-turned-ESPN analyst Rex Ryan, and a pair of long-lost twins.
- Aastha Lal & Nina Duong (33/34): engaged couple from Marina del Rey, CA
- Abby Garrett & Will Freeman (24/25): childhood sweethearts from Birmingham, AL
- Aubrey Ares & David Hernandez (29): ballroom dancers from Los Angeles
- Derek Xiao & Claire Rehfuss (24/25): showmance from Los Angeles

Mattel's "Pictionary," hosted by Jerry O'Connell, is set to premiere nationally on September 12, 2022. After a successful test run last summer, the series rolls out nationwide as O'Connell hosts the family favorite game show, based on Mattel's popular board game of quick sketches and hilarious guesses.

The broadcast version of "Pictionary" will follow the same rules of at-home play. Celebrity captains, including Amanda Seales, Loni Love, Cristela Alonzo, Ross Mathews, Amanda Kloots, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Natalie Morales, and more, lead two teams of three as players draw clues for teammates to guess winning words or phrases. The 30-minute national daytime series is produced by Fox First Run as well as Bill's Market and Television Production and distributed by CBS Media Ventures (CMV).

The show will air on Fox-owned stations in major markets, among other stations nationwide. Check local listings in your area.

"It's exhilarating to be part of such an iconic tradition and to bring this beloved franchise to the daytime landscape," O'Connell said. "Growing up, this was a family favorite and something I continue to share with my kids today. It's a great privilege to help expand the reach of the experience, engaging contestants and fans of the game on a national scale."

Arguably one of the busiest men in television, O'Connell adds "Pictionary" to a robust array of high-profile projects. He returns to host "The Talk" this fall and will host CBS' reality romance adventure series, "The Real Love Boat," premiering October 5th at 9 p.m. ET, with his wife, Rebecca Romijn.

"Pictionary" is executive produced by David Hurwitz, Noah Bonnett and Richard Brown. Fred Soulie, SVP & GM of Mattel Television and Phil Breman, VP Live-Action, serve as Co-Executive Producers for Mattel.

Gladiators, one of the most iconic gameshows of the 90s, will soon be returning to TV screens in its new home on the BBC – on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The Saturday night staple, which originally aired on ITV between 1992 and 2000, will be back with an 11-episode series, made by Hungry Bear Media and MGM Television UK, and will welcome a new generation of 'superhumans' who will compete against contestants in the ultimate test of speed and strength.

The new series will include new games alongside classic challenges, culminating at the end of each episode with The Eliminator challenge. The series is set to air in 2023.

Kate Phillips, Director of Unscripted at the BBC, commented: "Gladiators is back and a whole new generation of viewers can now look forward to watching a Saturday night spectacle like no other. Will the contenders have the will and the skill to succeed against our mighty new Gladiators? You'll have to tune in to find out!"

Scot Cru, EVP of Global Formats and Unscripted Content, MGM Television, said: "Gladiators is a format that resonates with viewers worldwide. We are thrilled to bring this revered series to the BBC and can't wait to introduce our UK Gladiators."

Dan Baldwin, Managing Director Hungry Bear, said: "It's the perfect time for Gladiators to return. What other show combines electric excitement, superheroes, giant sponge fingers, elite athletes, and a pinch of pantomime? Watch out for the new breed of superhuman, supersized, superstars bursting on to your screens on BBC One and BBC iPlayer."

Dom Bird, SVP MGM International Unscripted Television, added: "MGM UK is incredibly excited to deliver a huge show with the scale, energy and drama that Saturday nights on BBC One are made for. It's going to be an epic series, pushing our next-level Gladiators and contestants to the very limits of their physical abilities."

Filming will take place at the Utilita Arena Sheffield in 2023.

The competition brings the heat (thanks to the pressure of the surprise) and starts off with with a star-ingredient themed cooking round. Star chefs competing against the home cooks are Eric Adjepong, Anne Burrell, Maneet Chauhan, Scott Conant, Tiffani Faison, Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschelli, Antonia Lofaso, Marc Murphy and Geoffrey Zakarian.

"This series is the ultimate in wish-fulfillment for the Food Network fan who suddenly becomes the star of the show," Jane Latman, president of Home & Food Content and Streaming at Warner Bros. Discovery, said in a statement. "Some viewers watch cooking competitions and think — I can do that! In 'Outchef'd,' we truly put that to the test and give these talented cooks a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete against a superstar chef."

The all-new cooking competition series will premiere on the network and discovery+ on Sept. 27 with two back-to-back episodes.
