Jay Baruchel hosts the Canadian version of the international hit comedy series LOL: Last One Laughing. The six-part competition series pits 10 of the best comedic talents against each other in a showdown, where anything can happen. Starring Caroline Rhea (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Debra DiGiovanni (Humour Resources), Dave Foley (The Kids in the Hall), Jon Lajoie (The League), Tom Green (Road Trip, The Tom Green Show), Mae Martin (Feel Good), Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?), Brandon Ash- Mohammed (TallBoyz), Andrew Phung (Kim's Convenience), and K. Trevor Wilson (Letterkenny).

The Season 1 cast of Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle was the first to take a “hands-off” approach to reality TV fame, trying to remain celibate for a shot at $100,000. So, what happened to them after the cameras stopped rolling?

With the dating competition’s third season around the corner, we’re catching up with those reality stars—who, with any luck, have been able to release their pent-up sexual energy by this point!

Bryce Hirschberg

Hirschberg is still making music, releasing the singles “Crazy Girl,” “Midnight Mystery,” “Muse,” and “Body” in 2021 under the stage name Bryc.

Chloe Veitch

Veitch continued her reality TV career last year, competing in Season 2 of the Netflix competition The Circle and appearing in the E4 series Celebrity Ghost Trip.

Francesca Farago

Farago is now the namesake of a line of “ethical, sustainable, biodegradable” swimwear. She also appeared on the ITVBe reality show The Only Way Is Essex and popped up on the Netflix dating competition Love Is Blind, on which she accompanied “friend” of Damian Powers to the “After the Altar” reunion.

Kelechi “Kelz” Dyke

“The Accountant” from Season 1 of Too Hot to Handle competed last year in The Challenge: Spikes, Lies & Allies, the 37th season of the MTV reality competition… and he got sent packing in the second episode of the season.

Nicole O’Brien

Like Hirschberg, O’Brien is making a go of it in music: Last year, she released the singles “Domino,” “Irish Eyes,” and “Call It Love.”

Sharron Townsend

Townsend is the founder of the Today I Smiled Project, which endeavors to “help people see their life matters by using the power of random acts of kindness through a belief that even the smallest actions can change the world.”

We Can Rebuild It

Who’s better at making over failing restaurants? Chef Robert Irvine of Food Network’s “Restaurant Impossible” and Jon Taffer, host of Paramount Network’s “Bar Rescue,” will vie for that crown in “Restaurant Rivals: Irvine vs. Taffer,” Discovery+ confirmed to TheWrap exclusively on Thursday.

The series, which will premiere all three episodes on March 3, will put both reality TV stars’ makeover skills to the test as diners rate who won that week’s challenge of revamping a restaurant in just 24 hours, with a “dinner-take-all” winner declared in the finale.

Will Irvine’s belief that a great menu speaks for itself win out, or Taffer’s insistence that the total dining experience is key?

“Fans have been waiting for this show,” Irvine said in a statement. “But more than that, Jon and I have been waiting for this show because we both love helping people in this industry who are struggling. To turn that love into a friendly but fierce competition is a no-brainer. The fans benefit. The establishments benefit. And Jon and I get to have an amazing time. I’m thrilled to see this finally come together.”

Added Taffer: “For years our fans have wanted Robert and I to do something together. I have tremendous respect for Chef Irvine, and I think he would say the same about me; our ultimate goal is to see these restaurants and their owners succeed. At the end of the day, that is what motivates us to do what we do. But make no mistake, I take this challenge very seriously and I expect to win. Good luck to Robert… he’s going to need it!”

“Robert Irvine and Jon Taffer are the absolute best at what they do, helping restaurants and small businesses on a path to success,” said Courtney White, president of Food Network and streaming food content at Discovery Inc. “And with ‘Restaurant: Impossible’ continuing to be a fan-favorite on Food Network, up double digits in key benchmarks and recently having its highest-rated premiere since June of 2020, the timing could not be more perfect to give audiences want they want with Robert and Jon battling against each other for the first time on ‘Restaurant Rivals,’ in a competition like no other for discovery+ viewers. This is a true Goliath vs. Goliath story, but only one titan can win the day.”

Twins Melanie and Martina Grant was a huge part of a lot of people's childhoods when they starred in hit gameshow Fun House.

The two - alongside Pat Sharp - kept things light and entertaining as they showed off their cheerleading skills on television in the 90s.

It has been around 23 years since the show went off the air but the two are still making money from it thanks to personal appearances.

Through their website funhousetwins, fans of the show can hire them for private parties and more.

Even Martina's Instagram, which is under the handle funhouseyellowtwin1, follows the Fun House theme.

Their description on their website reads: "Melanie and Martina, know how to have fun – they bring the party with them wherever they go and are attentive hostesses who can help organisers make sure the party goes with a bang.

"When not partying, Mel and Martina dream about being on Strictly, Dancing on Ice or I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here – after that it’s a pretty normal life looking after kids, going on the school run and going out to PARTY for themselves."

Buzzsaw Seesaw

Brad Rutter knows a thing or two about answering questions under pressure, and he’s continuing to pile on the pressure for contestants of ABC‘s hit game show The Chase.

Returning as a chaser alongside his fellow Jeopardy! alums Ken Jennings and James Holzhauer, the pals’ dynamic has been changed up by the addition of Chase legend Mark Labbett in Season 2, which recently returned for its midseason premiere this January.

“As we get more experience, we have even more fun with it,” Rutter tells TV Insider. “As great as the trivia is, we get better at messing around and making jokes and stuff like that too.” It’s certainly a reason to keep tuning in. Below, Rutter opens up about the dynamic with his fellow chasers, his signature style for the show, and thoughts on Jeopardy!‘s impressive string of Season 38 champions.

Season 2 is back! What has it been like welcoming seasoned Chaser Mark into the mix? There’s been some great banter between you all on the show and on social media.

It was mostly like sliding right back into a nice warm bath. That was pretty much the only thing from our perspective that changed. We did make a few tweaks to the gameplay, but that was basically the same. Obviously, Mark has been on more episodes of The Chase than anyone else around the world. So he fit right in and he likes to talk smack like the rest of us. So it was just like adding a fourth limb to the three-limbed [tree].

As the Chaser, you work against the competitors answering trivia questions. Is there ever an instance where you wish you weren’t in that position, that you could lose?

I’m always going for full out. However, with certain contestants who I end up liking, I do in the back of my mind start thinking, well, I would feel kind of bad to beat this person. I remember Elliot from Season 1, which it didn’t end up being an issue because he ended up beating me, but he was just so much fun that it would’ve seemed unfortunate to beat him, but I’m giving it all I have every time out there.

Has there ever been a time where you’ve been particularly surprised by certain questions or missed an answer?

Well, one that pops to mind is that since I’m starting to get into middle age, I have to work really hard to keep up with current pop music. And so I put a lot of effort into that. There was a question about Camila Cabello’s group before she went solo. I was like, “Oh God, I’ve heard this before. Ah, but I can’t remember it.” And, now I’ll never forget that it’s Fifth Harmony. And the woman I was playing against knew it right away.

On a less serious note, are bow ties your signature accessory for the game?

Yeah. I don’t really wear them too often in real life either. I do have a few and I’ll bust them out for like a summer wedding or something like that. But I was just thinking about different things I could do to maybe change it up a little bit on the show, and I suggested the bow ties. And then our showrunner was all over it. He was like, “That’s perfect. We’re doing it.” So, I’ve been wearing the bow ties on the show ever since.

On ‘Supermarket Sweep,’ Here’s What Happens to the Food

Supermarket Sweep has been on and off for decades.

Leslie Jones of Saturday Night Live hosts the current edition of the show.

However, viewers have been wondering for a long time if contestants on the show keep the groceries.

Nearly all of the perishable and edible food items featured on the show are donated to a variety of different charitable organizations for both people and animals, according to representatives from the new version of the show.

Much of the meat that contestants grab in a mad dash is donated to organizations like the Rancho Wildlife Foundation so that carnivorous animals can eat it.

The Rescue Train, which is described on its website as a “nonprofit, 501(c) 3, no-kill animal welfare organization,” receives pet food and supplies that people toss into their shopping carts during the show’s festivities.

Other “edible produce and grocery items [are]also given away” to local food banks, according to the report.

“Ninety-five pallets of perishable and non-perishable foods were donated to local charities, including the Los Angeles Food Bank, FoodCycle LA, LA Mission, and Downtown Women’s Center,” according to representatives.

According to host Ryan Clark-Neal in an interview with This Morning, the British version of the show, which airs on ITV, follows a similar structure: “For television purposes, we want it to look pristine.”

However, because that fresh produce has three, four, or five weeks left, we donate it.”

According to host David Ruprecht, all of it is real, but the meat and cheese on the old 1990s version of the show were fake.

“It was all a ruse because the meat juices would stain [the contestants’]sweaters.”

“They wanted to get rid of that because it’s not telegenic,” he said in an interview with Great Big Story.

Real food is used extensively in the 2020 reboot of the United States.

A portion of the meat used in the program is real, and it’s usually donated to wildlife organizations.

#todayIlearned that some of the food on Supermarket Sweep get donated to dollar stores everywhere. Why? To give penny pinchers and cheapskates a helping hand. Support your local dollar store today. Because grocery stores and every big box store that has a grocery section is too much.
