The  Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

Ken Jennings is celebrating Jeopardy! bringing some analytics to the game. On Twitter, the game show host said that stats would now officially be compiled on the brand's website. A big letter to the fans came from Michael Davies. The executive producer told readers that people had been asking for comprehensive stats for a while and the show decided to make it a reality. For Jennings, he couldn't be happier, as he's always viewed Jeopardy! as a form of sport anyway. The host explained how sports journalists had the best writing about the show when compared with entertainment press. Well, he and viewers who feel the same are getting what they've been asking for. In the blog, Davies uses current dominant champion Amy Schneider to speak about the ways in which these analytics can help viewers understand the game in new ways.

"Big announcement from @Jeopardy: daily box scores and an annual "postseason." I noticed many years ago that sportswriters were the best interviewers about Jeopardy! They treated it (correctly!) as a competition first and showbiz second," he explained. "And the box scores include buzzer stats! For the first time, fans will be able to dig into the interplay of knowledge and timing that defines the game. Looking forward to the Ph.D. dissertations on Jeopardy! analytics."

Executive producer Michael Davies gave some more context on the official blog. "Aha! Stats! My obsession since I joined the show a little more than 4 months ago. Last week we started publishing some comparative stats (Opens an external site) of our top 4 champions – Amy, Matt, James Holzhauer, and Ken Jennings – and the response has been fantastic. Today we are continuing our foray into #jeopardata with the first release of our daily box score."

"Everyone at Jeopardy! owes a massive debt of thanks to some notable members of our community who have done extraordinary work compiling, developing, and publishing all sorts of stats about our show," he continued. "My team and I read and appreciate so much of this work on your websites, your Twitter feeds, and on the Jeopardy! subreddit. Jeopardy!, we feel, has a responsibility to add to this body of outstanding work and perhaps fuel even more. We have decided that the best way we can do that is by publishing an official daily box score every night."

SHAHT AHT TIME!

A big special shout out goes to...............

Kathy Sue Holder. Last year, the Memphis Wrestlecenter was open to the public and it attracted many wrestling fans to bring back the glory of Memphis Wrestling through United Wrestling Network. Ever since, us like myself came to witness great moments inside the big blue warehouse of destruction and Kathy thought it was a good idea to go visit it. The Arkansas native decided to pop in and TBH, she is an obessive wrestling fan. Stop me if you've heard this one.  An obessive wrestling fan. Has she ever booked a therapist? Well, she might not but she LIKES it and has since the days of territory wrestling. In fact, she took snaps next to the superstars. Yes, the superstars. I'll let you take a look at it.

She even took one with the Boogyman.............

Crazzy Steve, that's crazy with 2 Zs......

And by last year, Swoggle and the Grinch.

Oh yeah, Did I mention she can do a little modeling too?

So Kathy, we at Game Show Live!, and by we, the entire newsroom salutes you. If you ever happen to see her at the next CWFM event on January 30th where Nyla Rose and Rhino stop by, she'll be sitting on the far right nexr the ring, but on the far left from the opposite side from the camera on top of the commentary booth in a 2-section red chair area near the pew-like ringside sections on either side the next time you get in after hanging out at the concesssion/autograph area getting your Tops BBQ. Man, I need a Circle K Froster right now.

“The pods are officially open!” The hit Netflix reality series Love Is Blind is back for a second season full of brand-new singles heading into the dating pods to test if “whether looks, race or age do matter, or if love really is blind.”

“Singles who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating in Chicago where they hope to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with…without ever having seen them,” states the season description.

Per the show’s rules, couples who end their time in the pods engaged will meet each other face-to-face for the first time before dealing with the complications of reality. “Engaged and back in the real world, as the couples plan their wedding day, they will quickly discover whether they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one before the fast-approaching ceremony.”

“The whole point is about finding out who we are as people,” says one of this season’s hopeful singles in the first look teaser. In true Love Is Blind style, none of the contestants’ faces are shown, leaving fans questioning who the new singles are and who they might end up with. “I’m getting to know someone’s heart before anything else,” says another.

Out of the debut season’s six pod couples, two remain standing since the show’s February 2020 release. Couples Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton and Amber Pike and Matthew Barnett are still happily married and appeared alongside the season’s other couples in the 2021 reunion special, Love Is Blind: After the Altar.

BBC game show Blankety Blank has been renewed for a second season, the corporation has announced.

Host Bradley Walsh will return for 10 new episodes of the long-running show, which sees six celebrities try to help contestants by matching answers to blank statements. Previous famous faces on the show include Tess Daly, Jimmy Carr, Judi Love, Sue Perkins and Craig Revel Horwood.

The BBC said the series, which was first broadcast in 1979 as an adaptation of CBS' "Match Game", will keep its original format as well as its classic theme tune, the Blankety Blank chequebook and pen prize.

"I absolutely love recording this show," said Walsh. "We have some of the funniest comedians and some of Britain's most well-known faces join us on the panel, and they’re incredible, but for me, it’s the players that steal the show."

"I’m looking forward to getting back into the studio and having a blast filming". Kate Phillips, the BBC’s Director of Entertainment Commissioning added: "It’s been so brilliant having Blankety Blank back on the Beeb.

"And Bradley really is the perfect host for this very funny family show, dealing with unpredictable celebrities, contestants, and prizes".

The BBC said the show’s celebrity guests and further broadcast details will be confirmed in due course. Members of the public can apply to be part of the show online..

90 seconds to talk about  why Buzzr is only airing TNG 90's edition starting from.........

Since Buzzr got the Newlywed game, it only has the 1997-99 edition and not much of the original ABC run and the 1977-1980 syndicated run as well as the 80's edition. Wonder why? ASCAP rights. Yes, ASCAP rights. All the cues of instrumental songs will be the ones you can't hear. Even the late seventies Barris era cues when that show and it's sister show The Dating Game won't be on there, too. So You'll be stuck with the 90's one done by the late Steve Kaplan. Also it's a good thing that it's replacing Dawson Feud after being in hiding for many weeks. This is to actually let the channel save money instead of spending it to acquire reruns of The Gong Show. And that's why you get Bob instead of Paul Rodriguez.
