Hey wait, that ain't Santa.....

“The Masked Singer” is getting into the Christmas spirit with its special holiday singalong episode Wednesday, and TheWrap has an exclusive sneak-peek at an animated treat that will run during the hour.

In the clip, which you can watch above, the fourth season of the Fox singing competition gets the cartoon treatment with a riff on the classic “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” including 2D versions of all the Season 4 contestants.

Oh, and “The Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon is there as — you guessed it — jolly old St. Nick himself. Except Cannon’s version of the man with a belly like a bowl full of jelly has a way with really bad Christmas puns.

Roll the darn clip!

In these desperate times, the virus asked the govenors of all 50 states and the enitre world to stay home. But staying home doesn't mean you're bored and want to watch TV. You entertain to a virtual neighborhood and invite those you haven't seen as if you were going out. The stay at home orders forced us all to play Animal Crossing and Jackbox, but trivia nights are what we were missing when everybody remained in the house. Now the feeling of game nights are being brought to you on the internet thanks to this new segment called:

The Quarantine Olympics!

We go up to Boston where we find something more old school.

If you thought the VPP Fun & Game Show brings in the vintage fun, Old School Game Show follows in the same boat. Every month, if you were at a live show, it brings in a lot of fun. Here's what their website says:

Part game show, part live theater experience, Old School Game Show never holds back. With live music, sketch comedy, and a real-time game show, the audience can expect the same kind of raucous energy a three-ring circus and truly inspired entertainment brings!

OSGS is a live interactive theatre experience done with all the pageantry and analog style of a 1970's television game show. The show combines elements of pub trivia, variety specials, video shorts, dance numbers,  and comedy sketches to produce a completely unique trivia experience that tests players pop culture acumen.

With influences as vast as vaudeville, Pee Wee's Playhouse, Andy Kaufman, and Battle of the Network Stars, how could you go wrong? The entire show is backed by an amazing live band playing original OSGS music. It's all the fun of an afternoon spent rolling around in the rumpus room- without the rug burn.

To put it this way, it's like Ask Me Another gone back to 1977. It's quarantine edition first on Facebook lIve and now making it's way to Twitch in which i'll explain in a moment, has only 4 people in 3 rounds. The first eliminates 2 people and the 2nd determines a winner while the final round is a 30-second race for bonus money just like id'ing Katy Perry and Selena Gomez vidoes in a Craftmatic adjustable bed. Mike D'Angelo is the host of the program while Ginny NIghtshade pops in and models prizes on live shows. Playing Announcer in a small circle: Will Smalley. Last time i checked the on demand archives, upon further review, SMRT Trivia did stop by the chat. Why? Sneaking in the stage room backstage? No. They're actually have a Boston connection going on. Who Knew? Need some photos, videos and cameos, as in, teh App telling stars something nice to you. Why not go to this:

Find out when the next show will be on Twitch. See you soon.

The first person to say “finger-lickin’ good” can kindly show themselves out.

Lifetime and KFC revealed on Monday that Mario Lopez will play Colonel Sanders in A Recipe for Seduction, which is being touted as a “Lifetime Original Mini-Movie Presented by Kentucky Fried Chicken,” but is surely just a long commercial. I mean, that’s what we want to assume. (Update: It’s indeed a 15-minute mini-movie, I am assured.)

“Some folks take their secrets to the grave, but Colonel Sanders takes his to the deep fryer,” reads promo copy on the KFC Facebook page, while the “movie” poster (below) features the teaser line, “We All Have Our Secrets, His Just Happens to Be… A Recipe for Seduction.”

The official synopsis on Lifetime’s website says, “As the holidays near, an heiress (played by Bosch alum Justene Alpert) contends with the affections of a suitor handpicked by her mother. When the handsome chef arrives with his secret recipe and a dream, he sets in motion a series of events that unravel the mother’s plans.”

The cast also includes Tessa Munro, Chad Doreck and Martin Mandela.

We, and by we, the newsroom, the camera crews, tech staff and myself want to wish everyone at Game Show Live! a happy holiday season. This is our last broadcast in Maple Heights because well all miss the old coke machine, teh haunted hallway and....um.......the big window in my office overlooking the Stan Lee TPC mini golf course. We'll move everything over to Podcast Hill on Pacific bay which is a 2 3/4 hour drive from Grimsborough and leave all the crime, big city life and much colder weather every single darn winter for much hotter summer weather, beaches and yes, spacious views of the skylines outside office buildings. It's like you took a vacation and the boss wanted to come along with you too.....permanently. But we hope the 5th year brings change and one person will still be around. Jessica Davis doing "Carol Of The Bells"

Closing Theme

So if there was a mini-movie based on Starbucks, would Ben Gleib and Kennedy from Fox Business star in a romantic love story over Pumpkin spice lattes?

Next week is the honors. We'll have Brittany Luberda, Bonnie Gordon, Charissa Memrick, stand up comic Juliet Brooke, Allison Weber, and more as we say adios to Grimsborough for good but for now, we must say au revoir because for the last time in 2020, it'll be this sound......

Then you know it's time for Livewire! Until next time, play on playas.
