Me: Welcome to Game Show Live! Let's get right into it with.......
The Tubi opening toss up story.
That was Sports Jeopardy! with Dan Patrick from back in the day, but ESPN is tossing it's hat in the Jeopardy! arena.
The Jeopardy! franchise is expanding yet again with new sports spinoff ESPN Jeopardy!, from Sony Pictures Television. Hosted by Emmy winner Joe Buck, the spinoff, which had been rumored and now is confirmed, will stream on Disney+ and Hulu. A premiere date is TBA.
ESPN talent will feature as contestants on the series, representing charities of their choice as they compete in a tournament-style event for a $500,000 grand prize and title of ESPN Jeopardy! champion.
Billed as Jeopardy! for sports fanatics with material covering the full spectrum of ESPN content, ESPN talent will “face off to experience the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in a new arena: the Alex Trebek Stage,” per Sony’s description.
A previous sports spinoff, Sports Jeopardy!, aired on Crackle for two seasons.
ESPN Jeopardy! joins Celebrity Jeopardy!, which is airing on ABC and streaming next day on Hulu; Jeopardy!, the syndicated main daily show hosted by Ken Jennings; Pop Culture Jeopardy!, hosted by Colin Jost, which has moved from Prime Video to Netflix for its second season, premiering May 11; and the recently launched Jeopardy! YouTube Edition digital spinoff, also hosted by Jennings.
ESPN Jeopardy! is produced by Sony Pictures Television and executive-produced by Michael Davies.
Longtime Fox broadcasters Buck and Troy Aikman moved to ESPN in 2022 with a multiyear deal as play-by-play announcers for Monday Night Football. They began their partnership in 2002 as a three-man booth with analyst Cris Collinsworth before becoming a duo in 2005. Over their 22 seasons together, they have called more than 300 regular-season games, more than 40 playoff matchups, 18 NFC Championships and six Super Bowls. Both have been nominated for Sports Emmy Awards multiple times, with Buck winning a record-tying eight times for play-by-play. In December 2022, Buck was inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame. Working along sideline reporter Lisa Salters, the trio won the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Live Sports Series for the 2023 season.

Someone said something on one real thing on when American Idol can finally call it a career for good. This was faxed into the studio and it said:
"History loops when it shouldn't. It's been past the 10 year mark since American Idol went off the air on FOX, only to respawn two years ater with the same host and three new iudges. What's left here is an illusion of relevance, and seriously, I don't understand why he's still hosting Idol when was supposed to be done in the first place." "This is what's wrong with TV nowadays. I'm sick of networks dragging out shows and franchises that have been stretched past their expiration date, and resurrecting ones that should've stayed buried but go revived anyway because someone upstairs smelled one more cash grab."
The Yay: CBS Media Ventures getting more perfect lines, more sides to flip and more of.......Drew Barrymore.
The yawn: John Zaccario getting out of GSN. Can you imagine what Tic Tac Dough should've been a real set instead of virtual?

Me: Thank you Amy and if there's any indication this might come back.....
CSI should make a comeback but make it in..........London. Yeah, London. What about Dublin? That might work. Heck, let's get Seattle in here. Wouldn't that be cool? Or New Jersey?
Anyways, here's Doireann Garrihy and the Irish setters!

Rate, review and tell em Game Show Live! sent you.
Comedians Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino have wrapped production on a 10-episode first season of The Bad Game Show, a new unscripted comedy series inspired by the success of their podcast Bad Friends.
Created by Santino and Nick Kreiss (Punk’d, The Eric André Show), The Bad Game Show drops celebrities into a chaotic mix of trivia and absurd challenges, where surprise guests crash the game and nothing goes as planned, all unfolding inside Lee’s mom’s basement.
Like more and more productions these days, especially in the comedy world, the show is being made for digital distribution across talent-owned channels and platforms. Revenue is being driven largely by brand partnerships through custom integrations, sponsored sketches, and host-read ads.
Kreiss also serves as director of The Bad Game Show and exec produces alongside Ray Schmieg (The Eric André Show, Ziwe), who is showrunner. The series is produced and financed by studio partner All Things Comedy, whose co-CEOs Billy Rosenberg and Drew Eller exec produce along with Head of Finance and Production Drew Agan. ATC’s Director of Network Creative and Strategy, Chance Nichols, serves as a producer.
In a statement on the project, All Things Comedy’s Rosenberg said, “We are so lucky to work with the iconic comedy duo of Andrew and Bobby, along with Nick and Ray, to create a show that’s 100% for fans and unencumbered by the traditional network process. ATC is betting on talent who want to create something original and directly for their audience, while prioritizing creative freedom and upside for all involved.”
A stand-up and actor known for his work on MADtv, Reservation Dogs, Harold & Kumar, the recent hit animated feature GOAT also featuring Santino, and more, Lee appears opposite David Spade and Theo Von in their new comedy Busboys that we announced. His long-awaited debut comedy special, Finally, is set to release on Hulu later this year. He is repped by CAA, Leviton Management, and Schreck Rose Dapello.
Known for turns in projects like Dave, Ricky Stanicky and I’m Dying Up Here, along with specials like Hulu’s White Noise, Santino is repped by UTA.
Kreiss is known for his work on Punk’d, The Eric André Show, Little Bitches, Jackass Forever, and most recently, Foul Play with Anthony Davis, currently airing on TBS. He is represented by Trevor Engelson at Underground and attorney Ryan Goodell.
All Things Comedy recently produced the BriTANicK film Pizza Movie, starring Gaten Matarazzo and Sean Giambrone, which premiered at #1 across Hulu and Disney+. Upcoming is Never Change!, a film from John Reynolds and Marty Schousboe, which is set to premiere at the Tribeca Festival and stream on Hulu later this year. Other productions include stand-up specials from Mo Amer, Jessica Kirson and Steph Tolev, among others. As a podcast network, they work with dozens of shows, including the Monday Morning Podcast hosted by Burr, The Zarna Garg Family Podcast, The Dollop with Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds, TigerBelly with Bobby Lee and Khalyla Kuhn, Rick Glassman’s Take Your Shoes Off, and The Adam Friedland Show.

SPANISH-FLY-PAPER-AIRPLANE, etc., etc. The new version should be like this...............
The way GSN should've had 20 years ago. Think about that.

Parker Posey is swapping a Thai resort for an Italian village as she makes her first move into the treacherous world of reality competition.
The White Lotus star is hosting The Mob for Hulu, a Traitors-style competition format.
The Mob sends a group of celebrities to a lavish Italian villa where they will shake down, hustle and whack their way to win up to $250,000 in cash prizes. Every episode, they will tackle mob movie-inspired jobs to survive. But every mob family needs a don, and whoever they choose will have absolute power — deciding who makes money, who stays, and who ultimately gets whacked. In a game where power demands absolute loyalty, can the don stay in control, or will the family rise up and overthrow them?
It comes from The Traitors producer Studio Lambert and British producer Primal Media, which was behind horror gameshow Release The Hounds.
The Mob will feature recognizable reality faces including The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Demi Engemann, Dancing with the Stars’ Bruno Tonioli and, most on-the-nose, The Sopranos star Aida Turturro.
Other stars include RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Willam Belli, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Gorga, Let’s Marry Harry’s Harry Jowsey, Selling Sunset’s Chelsea Lazkani, Younger’s Debi Mazar, Love Overboard’s Bella Palk, rapper Romeo and Maria Georgas and Shane Parton from Bachelor Nation.
The format was created at Primal Media, which is run by Adam Wood and Mat Steiner, with Neil Kirby and Ben Riley helping to develop it. Susan House, who was showrunner on ABC’s The Hustler and worked on The Bachelor, serves as showrunner.
Posey will exec produce alongside Studio Lambert’s Tim Harcourt, Jack Burgess, Niall O’Driscoll and Stephen Lambert and Primal Media’s Adam Wood and Mat Steiner, alongside David Mortimer, who runs Primal’s owner STV Studios. Charlie Williams is the Executive in Charge of Production for the series and Justin Medeiros is EVP of Production.

Here's a fun fact: In 1984, the Twinkie became known worldwide in countries that did not sell the confection, due to a reference in the hit film Ghostbusters.[36] In the film, the character Egon Spengler describes a speculated level of psychokinetic energy and uses a regular-sized Twinkie to represent the normal level of such energy in New York City. He then says that based on a recent sample, the Twinkie representing New York would be over 35 ft (11 m) long and weigh approximately 600 lb (270 kg), to which the character Winston Zeddemore replies, "That's a big Twinkie."[36]
