JOE MANGANIELLO AND LERA ABOVA JOIN SEASON TWO OF NETFLIX'S ONE PIECE
· At today's Geeked Week live event in Atlanta, Netflix announced that the following cast members will appear in roles in the upcoming second season of ONE PIECE:
o Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Magic Mike franchise) as "Mr. 0"
o Lera Abova (Bumper in Berlin, Honey Don't) as "Miss All Sunday"
· Netflix also surprised fans with a behind-the-scenes look at the first table read of season two, where it was teased that beloved character Chopper will appear in the new season. Watch and link to the video HERE.
· Earlier in the week, the series also debuted a Season Two set tour led by Jeff Ward, who plays the fan-favorite villain Buggy.

A proposal to modernize and expand the Television City complex in the Fairfax District cleared a major hurdle today, as L.A.'s Planning Commission unanimously approved the $1.2 billion plan.
The project will next be heard by the Los Angeles City Council's Planning and Land Use Management committee before going to the full council.
The Television City Project would add facilities to the storied lot at Beverly Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue, as well as landscaping improvements and infrastructure enhancements to nearby streets.
The world's first purpose-built television studio was constructed in 1952 and has expanded in a patchwork over the years.
Hackman Capital acquired the iconic 25-acre property from CBS for $750 million in 2019, though CBS continues to operate at the site as a tenant. The studio has been the production home for shows such as All in the Family, Sonny and Cher, American Idol, The Late Late Show With James Corden, The Price Is Right, The Young and the Restless, Dancing With the Stars and Real Time With Bill Maher.
"We are grateful to the Planning Commission for their vote of approval, which will help to improve the Beverly/Fairfax neighborhood while keeping and creating thousands of good entertainment industry and ancillary jobs in Los Angeles," Hackman Founder and CEO Michael Hackman said in a statement. Additionally, the commission approved a specific plan for the project, allowing studio production at the site, as well as its environmental impact report.
Tons of former Survivor players are waiting with bated breath to see if they are on the receiving end of a call from Jeff Probst inviting them back to the island to compete on the highly anticipated Survivor 50, set to film next year and air in 2026. But a few franchise legends are not waiting for any such call, having decided to take their talents overseas for an international edition of the franchise.
Parvati Shallow, Cirie Fields, and Tony Vlachos will be among the competitors appearing on an Australian Survivor edition scheduled to air in 2025 titled Survivor: Australia v. The World. The news was announced in a press release on the Paramount NZ website, and has been confirmed by Entertainment Weekly.
Meanwhile, the Australian Survivor social media accounts revealed three of the favorites from the Aussie edition that will be competing: social standout Shonee Bowtell, super schemer George Mladenov (a.k.a. King George), and recent fan favorite Kirby Bentley.
