The  Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

Hollywood, we have a problem! FOX presents Stars on Mars, an out-of-this-world new unscripted series, in which household names trade in their possessions, status and glamourous lifestyles on Earth for an insane and hilarious summer on "Mars." Their mission? To be suited up with no space to go, as they colonize, compete and conquer their new galaxy surroundings, until there is just one "celebronaut" left standing. Legendary actor and Star Trek icon William Shatner serves as Mission Control and will deliver intergalactic tasks to these shining stars throughout their journey on the red planet. Stars on Mars touches down Monday, June 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

"The moment I heard the pitch for Stars on Mars, I knew a show this bold, this big and this outlandish simply belonged on FOX," said Allison Wallach, President of Unscripted Programming, FOX Entertainment. "Watching celebrities take giant leaps out of their comfort zone and step into the unexpected will no doubt be truly transformational and comical. Throughout, we will learn a lot about these stars, and when you factor in William Shatner leading the charge from Mission Control, we have the makings of a show that's ready for blast off."

"Good news for our celebronauts from Mission Control," reports Shatner. "Thanks to lower gravity on Mars, you'll weigh 62% less. Bad news: the air is unbreathable, so if you're from LA, it'll remind you of home."

This summer, adventurous celebrities prepare for take-off to the red planet, where they will live, eat, sleep, strategize, and bond with each other in the same space station. During their stay, they will be faced with authentic conditions that simulate life on Mars, and they must use their brains and brawn - or maybe just their stellar social skills - to outlast the competition and claim the title of brightest star in the galaxy. The celebrities will compete in missions and will vote to eliminate one of their crewmates each week, sending them back to Earth. Cue the intergalactic alliances and rivalries. Stars on Mars will send these famous rookie space travelers where no one has gone before and reveal who has what it takes to survive life on "Mars."

Stars on Mars is produced by Eureka Productions, a Fremantle company. Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening and Eden Gaha serve as executive producers, along with Charles Wachter, serving as executive producer and showrunner.

Stars on Mars is an original format created by Chris Culvenor of Eureka Productions. Fremantle has international distribution rights to the Stars on Mars format.

She may not have won Shower Karaoke but Grace Balint is inventing something.

And here's Grace to tell us about it.

Here's the deal--my morning service church is turning 💯 this year! As a 💯 year old building, understandably it's falling apart.

In addition to multiple church services on Sundays, we also host multiple AA, NA, SA, etc. meetings 6 days a week.

Several hundred people come through our doors every week and we're so grateful for them, we want to update our building a little to make it more comfortable for them. Specifically, we want to raise enough money to repair the roof (it leaks in multiple places each time it rains, ugh!).

Enter the Comedy for a Cause variety show night on May 12th, hosted by the one and only #TheSparklyComic! Admission, coffee and treats are all FREE!

Any and all donations are tax deductible, gratefully accepted, and will go straight towards our Raise the Roof fund 😁 Once we raise enough money for the roof we also want to fix the a/c. Summer is coming, you know 🥵

You're invited to come hang with us, hear some GREAT live music, have a lot of clean laughs, and help us raise money!

So if you're in the LA area, please help the building make it more new. And also help her work for her as a comic writer. Oh wait, you can't.

Warner Bros. Discovery (Nasdaq: WBD) today introduced Max, its enhanced streaming service, which will launch in the U.S. on May 23. Max is the destination for HBO Originals, Warner Bros. films, Max Originals, the DC universe, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, an expansive offering of kids content, and best-in-class programing across food, home, reality, lifestyle and documentaries from leading brands like HGTV, Food Network, Discovery Channel, TLC, ID and more. Max will stand out amongst streamers by uniquely combining unrivaled breadth and superior quality with iconic franchises and strong product experience, all for great value.

"From the biggest superheroes to real life champions; from culture-shaping dramas to taste-shaping entertainment; from fantastical realms to the realest of worlds, Max will offer an unrivaled range of choice," said JB Perrette, President & CEO, Global Streaming & Games, Warner Bros. Discovery. "This new brand signals an important change from two narrower products, HBO Max and discovery+, to our broader content offering and consumer proposition. While each product offered something for some people, Max will have a broad array of quality choices for everybody."

According to the service's website, Max will be available in three different versions. The first two plans align with the existing HBO Max pricing, and WBD said current HBO Max customers will not see their pricing change (for now) when the new service debuts. The third tier, "Max Ultimate," expands to up to four streams and includes 4K content. The trio of options are:
- Max Ad-Lite ($9.99/month or $99.99/year): Two concurrent streams, 1080p HD resolution, no offline downloads, 5.1 surround sound quality
- Max Ad Free ($15.99/month or $149.99/year): Two concurrent streams, 1080p HD, up to 30 offline downloads, 5.1 surround sound quality
- Max Ultimate Ad Free ($19.99/month or $199.99/year): Four concurrent streams, up to 4K Ultra HD resolution, 100 offline downloads, Dolby Atmos sound quality

Why did the company decide to drop HBO from the HBO Max name? JB Perrette, president and CEO of global streaming and games for Warner Bros. Discovery, explained the thinking behind the rebranding — while saying HBO will be preserved as a brand within the Max fold.

"We all love HBO, and it's a brand that has been built over five decades" to stand for "edgy, groundbreaking entertainment for adults," Perrette said. "But it's not exactly where parents would most eagerly drop off their kids. And yet Warner Bros. Discovery has some of the best-known kids' characters, animation and brands in the industry. Not surprisingly, the category has not met his true potential on HBO Max."

If you get HBO with your cable or satellite TV package, you may have access to Max at no extra cost, according to Warner Bros. Discovery. Distribution partners currently lined up to offer Max are: AT&T, Cox, Cricket, DirecTV, Dish, Hulu, Altice USA's Optimum, Amazon's Prime Video Channels, Charter's Spectrum, Verizon and Comcast's Xfinity.

Competition reality TV format "Lego Masters" has been picked up by Tokyo Broadcasting System for adaptation in Japan. The deal is the 19th for the Banijay Rights-represented format and the third in Asia.

Production is currently underway for the show, which will see pairs compete against each other to wow judges with inspiring designs and brick builds.

"I am looking forward to working with Banijay Rights and not only learn about the production of the show, but also to closely examine the essence of creation behind it," said Aso Kunihiro, producer, contents solution department at TBS in a prepared statement.

"Lego Masters is a masterstroke of a global format that continues to provide uplifting viewing to audiences worldwide," said Rashmi Bajpai, EVP sales Asia, Banijay Rights, who negotiated the TBS deal.

Originally created by Tuesday's Child Television and the Lego Group, Banijay globally distributes the format and finished tape for the show. In Asia, local adaptations have previously been aired by MBC in South Korea and by Shenzhen TV in China. New versions of "Lego Masters" are to be produced by TV Markiza in Slovakia and TV Nova in the Czech Republic, following other versions in Europe, the U.S. and Australia.

"We are so excited that families in Japan will have an opportunity to enjoy this global phenomenon. 'Lego Masters celebrates Lego building at its very best – creative, ingenious, great teamwork and lots and lots of fun. We are looking forward to inspiring Japanese builders of all ages," said Michael Ebbesen, GM of Lego Japan.

In a teary, pre-taped episode of ABC's Live With Kelly And Ryan, Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa capped off Seacrest's final episode with emotional pledges of forever love and mutual appreciation.

And Ripa called Seacrest a blooming onion.

After explaining that they'd promised one another they wouldn't cry, the two soon enough broke the promise. In her final farewell, Ripa said, "From the bottom of my heart and the bottom of all of our hearts, we just want to thank you for being wonderful, for being an original, authentic addition to this show. You are forever our family. We will never say goodbye to you. We will only say, 'See you soon.' I love you."

Ripa also compared Seacrest to "an onion with all these layers. But, really, what you are is a blooming onion, because you are layers upon layers of goodness, of kindness, of charm, of brilliance, authenticity, and generosity. Your generosity is unmatched."

"I've spent my entire career talking, talking on radio and talking on television," Seacrest said. "Words are my bread and butter, my wheelhouse, but today it's hard to put into words how deeply I've appreciated being here and being with you, being invited into your homes every day to try and deliver a smile or a laugh or two… I'm honored to be part of this family."

Seacrest called himself "a very lucky man," adding, "I want you all to know, it's not lost on me how fortunate I am." He later called his years on the morning talk show "a memorable ride and now I'm excited to pass the baton to Kelly's 'real' husband, Mark."

Seacrest's parents and sister joined the cohosts for an on-stage toast, and Seacrest's four-year-old niece Flora appeared in a video message.

The American Idol host announced his departure from Live With Kelly And Ryan in February. The show will become Live With Kelly And Mark when Ripa's husband, actor Mark Consuelos, takes over on Monday.
