The  Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

The next season of Jeremy Clarkson's "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" on ITV will be its last on the British broadcaster, with "no future commitments" in the works.

ITV boss Carolyn McCall tells Variety that the forthcoming season of the game show, which is currently in production, will be Clarkson's final foray as host. The "Grand Tour" presenter has been at the center of a media firestorm over his December column in British tabloid The Sun. In the piece, which is currently being investigated by British media regulator IPSO, Clarkson said the Duchess of Sussex should be forced to parade the streets naked with "lumps of excrement thrown at her."

"We have a contract. We're contracted to this [season], so we will do that," said McCall. "And then we have no future commitments. And we haven't made any statements about that."

When asked whether ITV may be in discussions about potentially continuing the show, which is produced by Sony Pictures Television's Stellify Media, down the road, McCall simply shrugged. (Sony declined to comment on this story.)

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" first launched in the U.K. on ITV in 1998, and went on to become one of the most famous quiz show formats ever created. The show aired with original host Chris Tarrant right up until 2014, when it was rested. In 2018, ITV revived the series with Clarkson at the helm. The presenter has hosted eight seasons of the show to date, with the most recent run airing last summer.

This Wednesday is International Women's day, and I thought somebody had a birthday on that same day. It's the pixie haired Pyramid princess herself, Charissa Memrick! She's a decade younger than me and I thought this video would set the record straight on it.

Twins. They walk alike, they talk alike........but do they love alike?

Amazon Studios has ordered "Twin Love," a new dating competition series from ITV Entertainment, hosted by WWE Hall of Famers Brie Bella and Nikki Bella.

"Twin Love" is set to premiere on Prime Video this summer and simultaneously on Amazon Freevee in the U.S. and UK. Simon Thomas, Bernie Schaeffer, Kenny Rosen and Jessica Nahmias serve as executive producers.

Per the official logline, "'Twin Love' is a social dating experiment that explores the love lives of identical twins. Ten sets of twins will be split up and placed into two houses of 'identical' casts, where they'll begin a unique and compelling search for love. With double the fun and drama, the series will discover if their inherent similarities extend to their romantic desires. When separated from their twin brothers and sisters — some for the first time ever — will they pursue the same identical partners? Or will their choices be dramatically different?"

Lauren Anderson, head of AVOD original content and unscripted programming at Amazon Studios, notes that the experiment, based on a format created by ITV Studios Netherlands, is like no other reality show on TV — and the Bella sisters make the perfect hosts for the format.

"Thanks to Brie and Nikki Bella, for bringing their personal experience to this series; to our cast, for their openness, playfulness, and willingness to be vulnerable; and to the unscripted team at Amazon Studios, who championed this series," she said in a statement on Thursday. "Our goal is to help couples find love in a fun, unique way, and we can't wait to share Twin Love with Prime Video and Freevee audiences this summer."

Nikki and Brie co-host "The Bellas Podcast" on SiriusXM's Stitcher and currently appear on E!'s "Nikki Bella Says I Do." They previously starred on "Total Divas" and spinoff "Total Bellas." Additionally, Nikki hosts USA Network's "Barmageddon" and was a judge on NBC's "America's Got Talent Extreme."

Sing Again, a Korean singing competition series that's outperformed The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice, has landed a third season on the JTBC network and Discovery+.

The series, a mix of reality and singing competition beats based around 'forgotten' singers, launched in 2020-21. It achieved ratings three times its usual slot size in Korea over its two seasons and Season One peaked with a 10% audience share – a significant number in Korea. That meant it became the top performing music competition show, outscoring the well travelled Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice.

Sing Again is billed as "a splashy and nostalgic singing competition where once-celebrated, now-forgotten singers, get another shot at vocal stardom." Identified only as a number to eight judges, they can ditch their past and win a second chance at fame based on talent alone. It involves several rounds before one wins $100,000 and a recording contract.

"It was a super, mega hit. Korea has a lot of singing competition shows but from the first episode Sing Again beat all others," said Warner Bros Discovery Korea General Manager Jeeyoung Lee. The format was presented to buyers at the Warner Bros. International Television Production Formats Showcase during the London TV Screenings this morning, where Lee unveiled the recommission.

It airs across 20 territories in Asia on Discovery Channel and Discovery+, has scored 37M views on streaming platform Naver and got more than 15M hits on YouTube.

JTBC's production arm Studio LuluLala developed the series alongside Discovery prior to the latter's merger with Warner Bros.

Fresh off a hugely successful inaugural season, USA Network's "Barmageddon" is coming back for a second round.

Blake Shelton and Carson Daly's "Barmageddon" was USA's best series premiere in almost three years in total viewers and strongest in more than two years in the 18-49 demo. In 7-day delayed viewing, the "Barmageddon" premiere was the best in USA history for an unscripted series.

Season one featured celebrity competitors Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow, Trace Adkins, Kane Brown, Lil Rel Howrey, Malin Akerman, and more going head-to-head in a series of classic bar games with a twist, including Air Cannon Cornhole, Keg Curling, Drunken Axe Hole, and Sharts ("Shelton Darts").

Season two promises a fresh crop of iconic celebrity favorites letting loose and a new set of outrageous games, upping the antics and intensifying the competition. With no shortage of heckling from Blake and Carson in front of a rowdy crowd, everyone is once again invited to the party at Ole Red Nashville.

RTÉ's Claire Byrne is due to return to Irish TV screens after it was confirmed that the presenter has begun filming for a brand-new quiz show.

The Laois native will be the face of quiz show 'Ireland's Smartest', which is being filmed in Virgin Media's studios in Ballymount, RSVP Live reported.

It will mark the 47-year-old broadcaster's return to television, after Claire Byrne Live finished filming last May.

The Sunday World reported that she is spending this weekend filming the new show at Virgin Media Studios. Despite this, the show will still be broadcast on RTÉ.

Ireland's Smartest will be a quiz show centred around general knowledge. "

Claire started recording on Friday afternoon the series, and spent most of yesterday also in the studio – she wraps up her current batch of shows today," The Sunday World said.

Netflix has released the first trailer for its unscripted survival series Outlast, which will premiere March 10.

The new format of the competition will see "16 lone wolves battle each other and the elements for a chance to win $1,000,000." The catch here is no one can work alone and there is no voting out someone — rather, the only way to get out is to give up, as the tagline of the series aptly summarize: "the enemy isn't mother nature, it's human nature."

The trailer sees the contestants weathering a chilly fall in Alaska and putting their survival skills to the test. The rules are easy: "you have to survive as a team, or you go home with nothing." The clip sees various moments from the upcoming series with bonds and friendships forming, as well as people going up against each other and verbally battling it out. Many are going to give up as we see them shooting flares, which seems like a sign of backing out.

BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James is to host Channel 4 reality series Rise and Fall from The Traitors maker Studio Lambert.

James hosts BBC Radio 1 Breakfast, one of the most-listened-to UK radio shows, and Rise and Fall represents one of his few TV hosting gigs.

He will oversee the action on Channel 4's latest big entertainment bet, in which 16 ordinary British people from all walks of life begin the game as equals but soon find themselves either in a position of power as a Ruler or as part of the powerless as a Grafter. While the Rulers live in an opulent penthouse, the Grafters must survive in basic conditions in the basement. And much like life, those in power will be responsible for making decisions that affect those who have none.

"I've been waiting a long time for a show like this to come along that I can get stuck into and be the ringleader of," said James. "It's an amazingly mad idea and the contestants are going to make some incredible TV."

Closing Theme

That's it for this week, today's consolation prize is tickets to the next Hello Cupid 4.0 taping. I heard that Jennifer Reoch may be hosting, but 8 singles link up, and live together in single pod houses for up to $100,000 if the studio audience and the app stream users pick the perfect couple to love to. Oh and to make matters even worse, they'll throw in monkey wrenches to distract the wannabe power couples up. And to make it even more worse.........NO TV, NO CELL PHONES, NO DAB RADIOS LIKE THEY HAVE IN ENGLAND and IRELAND, NO SMOKING, NO DRINKING TO MAKE IT A DRUG FREE EXPERIENCE, NO SOLICITATING, NO NOTHING. Other than that, they're just 8 singles looking for love for a lot of dough. ALso, Jennifer O' Brien will warm up the crowd. She's a fantastic comedienne. Also, Freevee will broadcast the whole deal. If you thought Hello Cupid 3.0 was a lot of drama, wait until you get the 4.0 the week after Easter. I'll be there after work that week to see the 8 singles ready to mingle as couples in single pod houses down the street from the television station. When sparks fly......love won't die. Or will it?
