Jeopardy! is gearing up for its first-ever High School Reunion Tournament which will kick off on Monday, February 20, and run through March 9. Mayim Bialik will host all 14 episodes, which will play in lieu of regular Jeopardy! episodes.

The tournament reunites former teen contestants from four seasons ago who appeared in Jeopardy!'s two Teen Tournaments. Now, the bright young minds who impressed viewers with their knowledge in the past are being given a chance to do it again, this time as college students.

The format will consist of nine quarterfinal games, three semifinals, and a two-day, total-point affair final. The tournament's Quarterfinal games will take place between Monday, February 20, and Friday, February 24, as well as Monday, February 27, and Thursday, February 2. The first Semifinal game will take place Friday, March 3, and carry on from Monday, March 6 through Tuesday, March 7. The two Finals games will take place Wednesday, March 8, and Friday, March 9.

Now a story that doesn't fit the critera of the blog but perfect  enough to get it trending and get it done. This is...............

LONDON (AP) — Several British supermarket chains have limited the amount of some fresh fruits and vegetables that customers can buy amid shortages blamed on bad weather in Spain and Morocco.

Tesco, the U.K.’s largest grocery chain, said Wednesday that it would temporarily limit customers to buying three items each of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. It follows similar moves by rival chains Aldi and Morrisons.

The empty shelves have become a political issue, with opponents of Britain’s decision to leave the European Union blaming Brexit for the fruit and vegetable shortages.

But industry analysts said the main culprit was bad weather hurting crop yields in Spain and Morocco, two of the U.K.’s main suppliers of fresh produce in the winter.

Spain has had some unusually cold weather, while Morocco also was hit by frosty temperatures in January, followed by canceled ferries due to bad weather over the past month. That meant less produce being shipped to Britain.

Ireland — an EU member but, like Britain, a chilly island that relies on seasonal imports — also has seen shortages of some fresh vegetables.

“Difficult weather conditions in the south of Europe and northern Africa have disrupted the harvest for some fruit and vegetables including tomatoes and peppers,” said Andrew Opie, director of food and sustainability at the British Retail Consortium, which represents U.K. supermarkets.

Opie said disruption was expected to last “a few weeks.”

“Supermarkets are adept at managing supply chain issues and are working with farmers to ensure that customers are able to access a wide range of fresh produce,” he said.

There was a first on Wheel of Fortune during Sweethearts Week in the February 16 episode: the first same-sex couple to compete as a team.

Charlie and Kelly got off to a good start, guessing the first puzzle — "Royal Wedding" — right and earning $1000. Then came their introduction, with Charlie introducing himself and his husband and noting it was an honor to be on Wheel during its 40th anniversary on love week since they were celebrating 25 years of being together. Kelly then added that their poodle was home watching. "We love her to death. We take her everywhere," he said.

Host Pat Sajak then asked their poodle's other favorite shows. The answer? Jeopardy! He then checked Kelly didn't have anything else to say since he'd interrupted him (he didn't) before moving on.

A user on Reddit reported that the episode would feature Charlie and Kelly as the first same-sex couple to compete as a team earlier in the day, noting, "this is a big step for Wheel, considering that just three years ago, then-executive producer Harry Friedman said in an interview that the show wasn't ready for same-sex couples yet."

The interview to which the person was referring was with The Hollywood Reporter in 2019, in which Friedman said, "it's something that's been discussed and like everything else that we do, we take very measured steps. And we have just not made that decision to do that yet."

The Masked Singer might just be getting the Coronation Street treatment.

ITV is understood to be preparing more Masked Singer mashups with its stalwart shows as The Masked Dancer's budget is redirected, Deadline reports.

The Masked Dancer will definitely not air in 2023 and could be axed full stop, while ITV instead looks at making more Masked Singer mashups in the vein of last year's The Masked Singer: I'm a Celebrity special, with several expected to be dotted throughout the year.

The Great British Bake Off's executive producer has said that people were justified in criticizing Season 13 of the hit competition series.

Critics including Scott Bryan, a self-confessed Bake Off superfan, said the Channel 4 show's challenges became overly complicated and Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith's judging was too harsh.

Bake Off, known as The British Baking Show on Netflix in the U.S., was also criticized for being culturally insensitive to Mexico, as hosts Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding sported sombreros for a taco-themed task.

Richard McKerrow, Chief Executive of Bake Off producer Love Productions, told The Media Podcast that the production team is working to put things right for Season 14, which shoots in April.

"I'd be the first to hold up our hands and say that I feel that the last series was not our strongest," McKerrow said. "You've got to take a look at it and go, '[are] the challenges too complicated?' We're looking very, very, very hard at making sure that it's as good a series as it can be."

He suggested that there may have been fatigue last year, having produced the two previous seasons in lockdown conditions during the pandemic. "We had two series, which we had to film during Covid. The team here just went to enormous efforts and enormous sacrifice to get that filming done in a bubble," McKerrow said.

He said Bake Off belonged to the people and the audience is very sensitive to the show overreaching. "You have to take very, very, very good care of it. So when people are criticizing either the challenges have become too complicated or whatever, you know, that's something we take seriously."

Can't wait for Season 2 of "The Traitors"? Well, have we got good news for you. There's a way to get even more reality TV deception and back-stabbing drama from the franchise by way of two international versions of the show that just dropped on Peacock.

On Wednesday, the streaming platform put the U.K. and Australian versions of "The Traitors" up for any subscriber to stream in their entirety. Like the American version of the show, each international installment has one full season to enjoy. Unlike the American version, though, the U.K. and Australian shows have 12 episodes instead of 10.

All three versions are based on the format of a Dutch series titled "De Verraders," which is Dutch for (you guessed it) "The Traitors." The format was so successful when it premiered in 2021 that several international versions were quickly made including the three on Peacock. Other versions of the shows exist in France, New Zealand, Spain, Norway, and Belgium, and more from Denmark, Finland, and Germany are expected to hit sometime this fall, according to "Variety."

The format of each version is identical across all nationalities: A group of contestants (both fresh faces and others from reality TV) meets up at a lavish castle where a number of titular Traitors are secretly chosen among them. They're tasked with conspiring to "murder" the Faithful contestants in the night. After a day of intense physical and mental challenges designed to raise the prize money pot, they convene at a roundtable every night to vote a member out of the house, hoping desperately they've sussed out a Traitor. In the end, either the Faithful or the Traitors split the prize money.

The biggest difference between the international versions and the U.S. one Peacock viewers fell in love with is that each has a different host. Sorry Alan Cumming fans, but he's exclusively on the U.S. iteration of the show. Instead, those who flip over to Peacock to watch the other U.K. show will get to know British TV personality and show presenter Claudia Winkleman. Meanwhile, the Australian version is hosted by actor Rodger Corser, best known for Australian TV shows such as "Doctor Doctor," "Underbelly," and "Rush."

Throughout history there had been great Ravens in history like.........

And...........

And...........

And also.......

But there's never been a raven quite like this..

Much like Drew Carey taking over from Bob Barker, Geoff Edwards taking over from Mark Richards or Ross Shafer taking over from Arsenio Hall, Raven has changed hosts over the years. Think of it as a kids version of Knights and Warriors, but way more successful in the UK.

The series was first produced by BBC Scotland in 2002. For the first seven series it was shot in the grounds of Castle Toward 8 miles (13 km) south-west of Dunoon, near Toward Point and the village of Toward. The production includes many CGI effects throughout, including the appearance and disappearance of objects and characters (including contestants), rapidly encroaching lava flows, burning targets and fizzing gases, and the zoomorphism of Raven in the title sequence. The show has won two BAFTAs for Best Children's Programme, in 2003 and 2006 for Series 1 and 4.[3]

The first series in 2002 was executive produced by Nigel Pope who devised the format. The producer was Colin Nobbs who stayed on as the Executive Producer for Series 2 and 3. Matthew Napier produced 6 series in total, from Series 2 to 7.[4] Series 8 to 10 were produced by Dougie Napier, who directed the previous two series. Series 11 was produced by Nick Gunaydin upon his interview.[5] The set and games designers are Tom Barker and Liz Barron, who created the look and helped format the show as well as devising most of the challenges.

As far as the gameplay is concerned, teams of warriors compete in challenges to ward off the evil socerer Nevar along with his demons and bring peace back to the village once and for all. This, along with Homes Under the Hammer, Taggart, Saturday Mash Up, Naked Video, Fun House, Mrs. Brown Boys, Breaking The News and others call Scotland the northern version of New York City and became one of the longest running shows on CBBC. That's what the UK meant to me. What about you?
