The  Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

SWITCH will premiere on Monday, January 30 at 7 p.m. ET on Game Show Network and air weekdays.

In SWITCH, five players begin the game by taking positions behind large numbers from 1 to 5. After a trivia question is asked, players with correct answers move towards the number 1 spot, and players with incorrect answers move towards the number 5 spot. The goal of the game is to finish the third round of questions in the number 1 position, thus winning the game and earning the right to play the bonus round for $10,000.

Recognized for starring opposite Jennifer Garner in the film "Peppermint" and his action-packed roles in "For All Mankind" and "Power Book II: Ghost", Hephner is also known for roles in both "Chicago Med" and "Chicago Fire," from the popular Chicago franchise and Hallmark Hall of Fame's "Love Takes Flight". Hephner can be seen next in Christopher Nolan's epic project "Oppenheimer".

Having made quite a career out of telling people what he thinks about them, it appears that Simon Cowell will once again be deciding who has The X Factor, as the reality competition makes its way back to the States — possibly on NBC.

"I have a saying in life that's 'Always go where you've got the best invitation,' and NBC has offered us to make the show here," Cowell shared with The Sun earlier this week while out promoting NBC's AGT: All Stars.

Cowell may have been speaking out of turn, however, seeing as Vulture's Joseph Adalian hears that while NBC is interested in reviving The X Factor, a deal is not yet done. It would likely fall under Cowell's expanded deal with NBCUniversal, which he signed last year.

It is unclear how The X-Factor would fit alongside NBC's existing singing competition flagship The Voice, which currently airs two installments a season, as well as Cowell's variety hit America's Got Talent, a summer staple, which also has spawned a winter All-Stars spinoff.

Love Island contestants will have their social media accounts taken away for the duration of the upcoming winter season and receive "guidance and training around mutually respectful behavior in relationships" following thousands of complaints earlier this year.

For the first time in the show's history, the ninth winter season will oblige the contestants to pause all activity on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and nothing will be published on their behalf.

Ordinarily, Islanders' accounts are overseen by friends, relatives or PR professionals during their time in the villa, in order to drum up support and build up their brand.

"The bold decision to pause Islanders' social media activity during the new series is testament to ITV's serious intent, especially as this input provides both a benefit to the appeal of the programme and a potential source of mental health problems," said Dr Matthew Gould, a Psychologist who consults on the Lifted Entertainment show.

The "enhanced safeguards," as described by Gould, also include the contestants "receiving guidance and training around mutually respectful behaviour in relationships" prior to the start of the show. They will also be offered resource links to help them identify negative behaviors in relationships and understand patterns associated with controlling and coercive behavior.

Can somebody please get Chris Tarrant back?

ITV Content Boss Kevin Lygo has become the first senior ITV exec to respond to Jeremy Clarkson's controversial Meghan Markle column, branding the article "awful" but stating he will keep his job as host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?.

Clarkson's article "did not represent our values," Lygo told journalists at a Broadcasting Press Guild lunch yesterday afternoon, adding: "It was awful and he has acknowledged that. I don't know what he was thinking."

Friday's Sun column, which said Markle should be "made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds throw lumps of excrement at her," is UK press regulator IPSO's most complained about article of all time with more than 20,000, and Rupert Murdoch's paper has since retracted the piece while Clarkson said he was "horrified to have caused so much hurt."

Meanwhile, Scottish MP John Nicolson wrote to ITV CEO Carolyn McCall urging her to ask Clarkson, who has hosted Who Wants to be a Millionaire? for five years, to stand down.

McCall is yet to respond but Lygo said Clarkson will continue presenting the format.

"What [Clarkson] writes in a newspaper column is really more for [the press] to talk about than us," said Lygo. "We have no control over what he says and hire him as a consummate broadcaster of the most famous quiz on TV."

One ITV presenter who the pubcaster's execs may be having a word with is Gary Neville, the ITV World Cup football pundit who was criticized for a World Cup final rant in which he compared workers' rights in Qatar – where thousands of migrants are reported to have died building stadiums – to the "demonization" of public sector workers in the UK. The comments have been condemned by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak amongst others.

Buzz-GSN where we ask you guys on the Game Show Network Facebook page anything and everything.

https://youtu.be/sNspUzbP3p8

Dana Anderson kicks it off.

I wish they would bring back 25 words or less. It was so much better than tug of words!

Yep. That's why GSN only played the first season in studio than the rest after covid. Next up, Peter Colomaio.

Ahmad Rashdad made Tug Of Words about the game not him.
We watch for the game and have no interest in the look at me, Samantha, show. Lost interest already.

Hmmm. You may think the show might've moved to mornings because of the fact that Samantha brought so much spice into the show's new season. Ahmad on the other hand made it look more like the real thing. Next, we go to Michelle Browning.

Thank you, GSN, for giving us a full hour of chain reaction. I Love it and its handsome host. 🥰 SO glad it's still on!

Aww bless you girl. ANd next, it's Dawn Debord.

Was it my imagination or did The Beast, aka-Mark Labbett "throw" the game on todays airing (12/15/22, 4pm cst, Game Show Network). He missed the simplest of questions, kept getting pushed back to 1 for most of first minute. But the question about the 2 countries that have a white flag with red cross and his answer was "England".....I mean, come on!!!

It's just a rerun, so deal with the endless loop of shows GSN has.

And I think we're done.

(song stops)
