Todd and Julie Chrisley, the stars of the USA reality series Chrisley Knows Best, were convicted on federal bank fraud and tax evasion charges on Tuesday; the husband and wife face up to 30 years in prison.

A jury found them guilty of conspiring to defraud community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They were also found guilty of conspiring to defraud the IRS and tax evasion; Julie was convicted on separate charges of wire fraud and obstruction of justice as well. The Chrisleys’ attorney says he expects to appeal.

According to prosecutors, Todd and Julie Chrisley submitted fake documents when applying for loans and hid income to avoid paying taxes. The couple’s accountant Peter Tarantino was also convicted of conspiracy to defraud the United States and filing false tax returns. The Chrisleys are currently free on bond and awaiting sentencing, which is scheduled for Oct. 6.

Todd and Julie star in USA’s Chrisley Knows Best, a long-running reality series that follows the antics of them and their kids. Debuting in 2014, Chrisley Knows Best was recently renewed for a tenth season and has spawned a number of spinoffs. (Todd is also set to host the E! dating show Love Limo.) A source tells TVLine that production on Season 10 has not yet begun, and the remaining episodes of Season 9, which were filmed before the Chrisleys’ trial began, will air as scheduled, beginning on Thursday, June 23.

Who needs Fey & Poehler?

Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner (ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT) announced to host the CBS presentation of the 49th ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY(R) AWARDS, to be broadcast LIVE Friday, June 24 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. This will be Frazier and Turner's first time hosting the awards ceremony and marks the 16th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmy Awards, more than any other network. The last time they aired on the Network was 2021.

As hosts of the six-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning show ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner have established themselves as accomplished journalists covering the stories that most impact the entertainment industry. Frazier is a multi-faceted journalist, producer and entrepreneur who has interviewed Hollywood's biggest stars and traveled the world covering exclusive stories. Turner, who also hosts SECRET CELEBRITY RENOVATION on the Network, is an award-winning journalist, a regular contributor for CNN and made television history in 2021 when she became the first Black woman to host ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT in the show's 41-year history. Together, Frazier and Turner are the first Black duo to host an entertainment news show.

The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of categories, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting and legal/courtroom programs. In 2021, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and the Television Academy jointly announced plans to realign the Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards to be organized by content genre, as opposed to program airtime. In addition, in recognition of the marked increase in content and entries for children's programming, 2022 will mark the first annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards, with relevant categories separating from the Daytime Emmys into their own competition and ceremony.

A full list of nominees for the awards can be found here.

In addition, the Creative Arts and Lifestyle Emmy ceremony will stream Saturday, June 18, (LIVE online, 9:00 PM, ET/6:00 PM, PT) at watch.TheEmmys.tv and via The Emmys apps for iOS, tvOS, Android, FireTV and Roku (full list at apps.theemmys.tv).

How to survive a wig epidemic

Over the years, “Survivor” viewers have grown accustomed to witnessing a unique treat in each season’s live finale. Self-described superfan Sia would attend the reunion shows in Hollywood and reward her favorite contestants with a special cash prize. Due to the pandemic, the show understandably scrapped all live aspects of its finale and instead opted to pre-tape the winner announcement and reunion on the island. That left fans wondering: what about Sia’s prize money?!

While it’s unknown if the nine-time Grammy nominee doled out any moolah after “Survivor 41” wrapped, she has now officially made her selection for “Survivor 42.” During a video posted on CBS’s social media, contestant Drea Wheeler has learned that she is the beneficiary of a cool $100,000 of Sia’s own money. Yes, you read that right: one-hundred thou!

And here's another award that surprises somebody as long as these qualifications are allowed:  Someone who can stream for more than one year of his or her own time, can be of some certain variety or within the realm outside of video games (i.e. Artwork, Music), viewership numbers on averages and the category most important: Play Jackbox games if necesssary. Please help me introduce you all to.................

This month's recipent: EmilyHenryMusic. Direct from our nation's capital, EmilyHenryMusic is your virtual coffeehosue entertainment for those who want to work 2nd shift before they head off or those who just got back from a 3rd shift and want to take a rest. Every song she sings is mostly an original and sometimes it could be a cover. Her electro-pop sound and acoustic storytelling keeps the chat abound as they gather for a midday concert with influences of geek to fit the Twitch moniker the fandom have been going to for years. Like for instance, "How it Feels" would be inspired by an HBO Max program "Our Flag Means Death" soon to be in its 2nd season. Another example is "Reach Out" which is inspired by "The Adventure Zone" podcast. Nearly every song is inspired by TV shows that are either terrestial or on streaming. If there's a song about the new Doctor Who, the X Men Arcade game's storyline or Vectorman, I'm down with it. But a chick with a guitar streaming just isn't enough until there's more than that. That's because Emily can do things like..........

Baking cakes.

Playing Among Us........

Sometimes Jackbox............

Or letting their parents join in.

As if that wasn't enough, she also does something Twitch streamers sometimes do. And that is this.

What, you want me to give you a different video to see why? Well then, here you go......

As if you didn't know, she CAN actually whistle. Looks like those Jokers Wild reruns on Youtube might've paid off in a big way. Here it is once more.

This goes to show she's not just a bird, she's a songbird for all we know. She does it Monday, Wednesday and Friday and she's almost at 4000 subs at this link:

So EmilyHenryMusic, we are hoisting the checkered flag to let you know that...............

You are the Twitchhead of the month for June of 2022. You get an imaginary plaque to hang on the wall, bragging rights and what else, Colbi King?

Colbi: a Smartwatch. If you think time is an illusion, this smartwatch thinks otherwise. It'll give you blood pressure readings, heart rate, moving distance and more in addition to letting you know when you can start stream early to let people come in. Pierre?

Me: I thank you, Colbs, we'll be back next time for another streamer who's sailing away to stardom on the internet.

Pain is DEFINITELY Fuel.

JEOPARDY! alum Buzzy Cohen has revealed that he was suffering from a major injury during the latest episode of The Chase.

The 37-year-old has recently begun filling in for Ken Jennings, who left the show after season 2.

Joining as a new Chaser on the quiz game show, Buzzy decided to share a little behind-the-scenes tidbit with fans on social media.

Viewers were excited about having the former Jeopardy! host on The Chase and happy to see how well he was doing in answering all of the trivia.

Buzzy revealed, though, that he was actually dealing with a lot while filming the show.

He tweeted on Tuesday: “Fun fact: I taped tonight’s episode of @thechaseabc with a broken rib.”

“When the team put up 19 steps I couldn’t even take a deep breath,” he said.

That meant he had just two minutes to catch up to the contestants in the Final Chase, and they were at a steep advantage at “19 steps.”

Fans were shocked to learn about his injury, as they didn’t even notice it while watching, and he was still competitive.

One viewer tweeted at him: “That was a smashing final round, Buzzy!

Chris Harrison, Subsitute Teacher

Michelle Young, who was known for being a teacher when she appeared on The Bachelor and then The Bachelorette, has announced that she’s stepping away from teaching on Bachelor Happy Hour, the official Bachelor Nation podcast.

“I was sitting down with my coworker, and we were just talking about this school year and how long we’ve been in survival mode, and my coworker just asked me, ‘Well, Michelle, how long have you been in survival mode?’” Young explains. “As she asked that, it kind of caught me off guard to actually stop and think how long I’ve been in this position, and my response was two years. I’ve been in this survival mode two years where I have just been flying by the seat of my pants, but really not necessarily living or just surviving with the pandemic, with going through these crazy but awesome changes, with getting a fiancé, there’s just so much going on.”

After thinking about her position, “it really just highlighted the fact that there’s so much going on with our education system and I really feel that as I move into this next year, I have decided to step out of the classroom,” she continued, getting emotional. “This doesn’t mean that I’m never going to step back in the classroom. This doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m not going to continue working towards a masters in administration and potentially get back into that direct line of education, but it’s me stepping away for a year to truly capitalize and push forward and put all my energy and efforts into my passion in a different way and really, truly try to push for that change because staying in the classroom and seeing and feeling that weight just shows me that something has to be done.”

Michelle first appeared in The Bachelor Season 25, with Matt James, before moving on to her own season of The Bachelorette, its 18th. Then, she met and, in the finale, got engaged to Nayte, and they’re still together.

Programming note: GSN leases Cash Cab again. Twelve slots on the weekend starting May 18.

And now, because you like it so much, our Twitchhead of the month winner EmilyHenryMusic with a music video for you all to watch.

Closing Theme

#todayIlearned that it takes preserverance and endurance to play through pain just like Buzzy Cohen or Cody Rhodes. That's why winners never quit.
