The  Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

CBS has ordered a brand-new, supercharged adaptation of the word-twisting, fast-thinking game show LINGO to premiere in 2022. Emmy(R) Award winner RuPaul Charles serves as host and executive producer of the primetime game show, where the simplest of words could be worth big money. The U.S. version of the hit international format follows its worldwide success, including its most recent popular run on ITV that premiered February 2021 in the U.K., where it was the highest-rated game show launch in its time period in nearly two decades.

RuPaul Charles brings his one-of-a-kind personality to this primetime order of the clever, competitive and unpredictable game, which features teams of two as they face off in fast-paced puzzle rounds to guess letters that reveal seemingly simple words. At the end of each one-hour episode packed with witty commentary and gameplay, the winning two teams will make it through to a nerve-wracking final showdown where one team will walk away with an additional big cash prize.

"We give you a letter, and you guess the rest! The word game craze is sweeping the nation, and LINGO will deliver a fast-paced, fun and addictive show for the whole family," said Mitch Graham, SVP of Alternative Programming, CBS. "RuPaul's flair and sharp wit, coupled with the ability for viewers to play along at home, make this a timely show with wide appeal that we're excited to join our network lineup."

Layla Smith, Objective Media group chief executive officer added, "We are O-V-E-R the M-O-O-N to be making LINGO for America with CBS and the amazing RuPaul."

The series, which was created by Ralph Andrews, has previously aired three versions in the U.S. The first version premiered in syndication in 1987 and was hosted by Ronald Reagan’s son Michael Reagan. It later was rebooted by Game Show Network from 2002-07 with Chuck Woolery and again in 2011 with Bill Engvall.

The reboot comes as the format has been gaining popularity internationally in recent years. ITV launched a version, hosted by comedian Adil Ray, last year and has run for 90 episodes in a daytime slot.

Ready, set, domino! 16 teams will compete head-to-head in intense domino building and toppling challenges on the new Fox competition series Domino Masters, hosted by Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet.

“In each episode, the teams will be given a bold theme and exciting custom elements to incorporate into their Rube Goldberg-style topples, but the pressure is on as one wrong move could set off a chain reaction that knocks them out of the running,” states the show’s description.

Judged by actress and author Danica McKellar, NFL star Vernon Davis, and professional domino and chain reaction artist Steve Price, the trios will compete in tournament-style play until three are left standing. The final teams will face off in the season finale to take home the grand cash prize and trophy and officially earn the title of this season’s “Domino Masters.”

Eurovision is en route to America with Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg as its musical pilots.

American Song Contest, the United States' stateside spin-off of the international phenomenon Eurovision Song Contest, has tapped Clarkson and Snoop Dogg to host NBC's upcoming music competition series, premiering March 21 at 8 p.m. EST/PST.

From the producers of the European juggernaut and The Voice, American Song Contest will follow a group of solo artists, duos, and bands representing one of America's 50 states, five territories, and the nation's capital as they compete to win the country's vote for best original hit song.

A celebration of different genres and styles, the live competition will consist of three high-stakes rounds throughout the course of eight weeks: qualifying rounds, semi-finals, and the ultimate grand final, where one state or territory will emerge victorious.

The 56 artists will be announced at a later date.

NBC embarks on the ultimate fantasy with new dating series "The Courtship," premiering Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The series will stream on Peacock the day following its NBC telecast.

Leading lady Nicole Remy, a modern girl tired of modern dating, is transported back to Regency-era England in the hope of finding love. In a grand 19th century castle set among the rolling hills of the English countryside, a group of 16 eligible suitors must battle to win her heart.

Writer and broadcaster Rick Edwards hosts and guides them on their journey, complete with surprise guests along the way. From carriage rides and masquerade balls, to archery, fencing and handwritten letters, Nicole and her pursuers swap modern-day sensibilities for grand-courting gestures of the past.

Leaving the modern world behind presents its fair share of challenges for Nicole's hopeful admirers, and the pressure builds when they discover that they must also get the seal of approval from her trusted Court: her father, Claude; her mother, Claire; her sister, Danie; and best friend, Tessa. As Nicole's advisors, the Court chooses dates for her and helps uncover which suitors deserve to win her heart.

As each attempts to out-romance the other, suitors find themselves at a weekly farewell ball where Nicole reveals whether their journey in romance continues or their carriage awaits to return them to the modern world. As the competition heats up and chivalry and courtship are put to the test, Nicole and her suitors discover if this sweeping adventure in romance leads them to true love.

In The Courtship, “a heroine looking for her duke will sign up for the ultimate social experiment in romance,” according to NBC. “Transported to a Regency-style England, a group of eligible hopeful suitors will have to win the heart of our heroine, and her court. Housed in a castle on the countryside, set on a beautiful backdrop of rolling hills, the heroine and suitors will experience that with which dreams are made. From carriage rides and boat rides on the lake to archery and handwritten letters to communicate, they will be immersed in a time-traveling quest for love. In the end, our heroine and her suitors will discover if the ultimate romantic experience will find them true love.”

This new dating show is an original format developed and produced by Endemol Shine North America. Executive producers include Anthony Dominici, Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre, Michael Heyerman, Susy Price, and Andy Cadman..

The latest season of the reality television mainstay promises to be “one of the most intense versions” of “Survivor” in its 20-year history.

“This season continues to define a bold new era of the series with the return of risky beware advantages, game-changing twists, and a relentless pace that will push these castaways to their limits. Okay, time for a Mistplay Game Break. Let's Question This! The category is..............

18th Century History. And the clue is.............

http://tpirepguide.com/qwizx/gssfx/usa/jfinalj.wav

The stated aim of this period was using violence to achieve political goals; its success aided in its demise in under a year.

Figure out the period after Robyn Cage sings a love song in the Spotify Soundstage.

Sweet. But the question to that is.......What is The Reign of Terror? This applies to any Jeopardy! superchamp.

Let's go back and go back it will to the events of February 2021.

It was the very first match of Brett Michaels. Memphis Wrestling's new era got started in a banquet hall near the Hickory Ridge Mall and Jonny Lyons was the opponent on the premiere of the program on CW30 in Memphis. It was a test of weakness and strength and Brett Michaels took the strengthness advantage over Lyons. That was 1 year ago. And this was all before the Wrestlecenter in Memphis opened up for business. Not only that, this was before it all moved to where you got to see Thunder Rosa, Jordynne Grace, Teddy Long, Heather Monroe and the like. This was before you went and got Tops BBQ before you went in the arena area. This was ALL and I mean ALL before the Wrestlecenter came to be in May of last year. That was the start of things for Brett Michaels. One year later, he still has that dream of being on Memphis Wrestling and not AEW or WWE fufilled. You can thank him and his 3 daughters for that. And to make sure that we can not leave Valentine's day behind, here's a picture of him and his GF from this past monday. You're welcome.

So far this month, Game Show Live! gave us a look at what the UK meant to us and when it comes to word games, the UK does it better like this one:

Lucky Ladders was the counterpart to CHain Reaction which was on USA at the time. This was pretty much the same like the USA version and not the GSN version where connecting words was used. Lennie bennett guided the teams on a climb from 1988-1993 on ITV and every winning team got a trophy. Standard UK fare there. Thankfully, the GSN version awards teams with cash, but Lucky Ladders inspired it form past and present Chain Reaction incarnations. That's what it meant to me, what about you?

Closing Theme

That's it for this week, today's consolation prize is a Cincinnati Bengals jersey to remind you of why you picked them in the first place because they lost the Super Bowl. Here's to next year.....if the Bengals can get a better O line.
