Me:Welcome everybody to Game Show Live! where we get lit and get involved. Let's kick it off with......

The  Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

Record-breaking Jeopardy! champion Amy Schneider wrapped up her historic 40-game winning streak Wednesday evening. And while her gameplay has come to an end for now, The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Schneider has signed with CAA.

Schneider is the most successful woman ever to compete on Jeopardy! and ranks as No. 2 on Jeopardy!’s all-time consecutive wins list, with her winnings totaling $1.4 million. In overall wins, the Oakland-based engineering manager is behind only Ken Jennings (74 straight), who took over part-time hosting duties after the death of longtime host Alex Trebek.

Schneider’s winnings put her among the top four highest-winning contestants during regular-season play, behind Jennings ($2,520,700), James Holzhauer ($2,462,216) and Matt Amodio ($1,518,601).

Schneider‘s Jeopardy! run has officially come to a close as the champ with the show’s second-most consecutive wins ever was defeated by competitor Rhone Talsma.

After a 40-game winning streak, Schneider’s record-breaking stint on the game show came to an end when Talsma, a librarian from Chicago, finished in first place with a score of $29,600 in comparison to her second-place finish of $19,600.

The Final Jeopardy! category was “Countries of the World” and the clue read, “The only nation in the world whose name in English ends in an H, it’s also one of the 10 most populous.” Schneider fell short when she didn’t provide the correct response which was “What is Bangladesh?”

Before the Final Jeopardy! category, Schneider led with a score of $27,600 in comparison to Talsma’s $17,600. Fret not though, Schneider fans, because the impressive player will return for the Tournament of Champions in which she’ll face-off against fellow Season 38 player Matt Amodio.

“I had thought that Rhone was going to be tough going into it,” said Schneider. “I loved hanging out with him, we had great conversation before the taping, but I could tell that he was here to play and that he was going to be good. I still came very close to winning, but I did feel like maybe I was slipping a little bit. And once it was clear that he was fast on the buzzer, I knew it was going to be a battle all the way.”

Along with being the player with the second most consecutive wins behind current host Ken Jennings — who still reigns supreme with 74 consecutive wins — Schneider walked away with a total of $1,382,800 in winnings, putting her in fourth place for all-time regular season cash winnings.

Her place in the lineup follows biggest winner Jennings ($2,520,700), followed by James Holzhauer ($2,462,216), and Amodio ($1,518,601). “It’s really been an honor,” Schneider said. “To know that I’m one of the most successful people at a game I’ve loved since I was a kid and to know that I’m a part of its history now, I just don’t know how to process it.”

Oh rats!

May the sweet and savory sabotage begin! Culinary chaos ensues in TBS' new cooking competition series, "Rat in the Kitchen," premiering on Thursday, March 31 at 9PM ET/PT.

TBS releases the first look at the series with a teaser and photos, showcasing the subterfuge to come with a sneak peek of contestants, kitchen layout and set up for the competitions. Far more than a traditional cooking show, "Rat in the Kitchen," hosted by iconic roasting queen and comedian Natasha Leggero and celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre, is a game of high stakes cat and mouse where viewers get to play detective. Over the course of the 10-episode season, a mix of professional chefs and passionate home cooks compete in a series of creative cooking challenges, earning cash in their bank for every dish that impresses Chef Ludo, while attempting to expose an undercover mole (the rat) determined to sabotage the dishes and undermine their chances at victory. At the close of each episode, both cooks and viewers will determine who they believe is the rat. If the cooks guess correctly, they win their bank but if successfully duped, then the rat walks away with the cheddar.

"Rat in the Kitchen" is produced by ITV America's Thinkfactory Media, in association with ITV Studios' Possessed. It is executive produced by Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Simon Thomas, Bernie Schaeffer, Kenny Rosen and Michael O'Sullivan for Thinkfactory, and by Glenn Hugill for Possessed. It is distributed internationally by ITV Studios.

Paramount+ has announced it will begin streaming Big Brother Australia and Canada in the US next month – the first time ever that the latter version has been made available in its neighboring country. T

hroughout its two-decade history, Big Brother USA and its broadcaster CBS have barely acknowledged the Banijay reality format’s various other incarnations around the world. But that’s finally about to change after the network’s official streaming service Paramount+ confirmed it has acquired several past seasons of the Australian and Canadian versions, which will be made available in the US on Wednesday, February 16. These include the two regular editions of Big Brother Australia that have aired since Seven rebooted the show with American-style gameplay in 2020 – although not the VIP spin-off – as well as seasons 1-3, 5 and 7 of Big Brother Canada.

It is unclear why Paramount+ has only bought selected seasons, or whether these will be available in any of the other markets where the platform operates.

BBCAN has never previously been available officially in the US This marks the first time that either version has been made available in the States – but BBCAN is likely to be of particular interest, as fans have long desired a way to watch the action from north of the border. While Canadian network Global continues to air BBUSA annually, as it has since 2000, the favor has never previously been repaid for BBCAN by its American counterpart. However, there is no indication that Paramount+ intends to carry more up-to-date editions, with BBCAN due to kick off its milestone tenth anniversary run in March.

Stephen and Ayesha Curry's new game show, which will pit celebrity couples against each other, is officially coming soon. About Last Night will debut eight episodes on HBO Max on Feb. 10.

The show will feature pairs of celebrity couples competing against each other in challenges and trivia.

The show is executive produced by Stephen and Ayesha. The couple will also serve as co-hosts, tasked with quizzing each episode's three celebrity couples, which will include Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott, Terry Crews and Rebecca King-Crews, and Tituss Burgess and Pablo Salinas.

During the game, the couples will need to match their answers to "uncensored" questions about their personalities and tastes. A bonus round will have the couples take on the Currys for an additional donation to a charity of their choice.

"We'd actually always wanted to do something together and wanted something around the premise of a date night," Ayesha tells PEOPLE. "We don't get to do a lot of them, but we love going on them. And so we said, 'Hey, this is a great excuse to get some work done and also have some date nights.' It's really that simple."

Adds Stephen, "We tried to make it something we'd do normally anyway. I feel like that's how you spend your time, hanging out with some cool couples, like we have on the show. And game nights or any type of couple competition or something that brings personality and fun out of it, that was the exciting part about what it could be."

Fox‘s The Masked Singer revealed the three groups of singers from Season 7 known as, “The Good, The Bad, and The Cuddly,” in the show’s first teaser video below. The reality singing competition premieres Wednesday, March 9, at 8 p.m.

Whoever is behind the masks is yet to be seen as the new season unfolds, but their characters include a fairy, a meerkat, a green ogre, a frog prince, a furry astronaut, and a mosquito, among others.

The Masked Singer is a popular singing competition series—hosted by Nick Cannon— that features celebrity contestants in costumes to conceal their identities. A panel of industry professionals—Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, and Robin Thicke—interpret clues to figure out who the masked singer is.

Last season’s finale saw The Bull battle against the Queen of Hearts but only one could be the winner. The Golden Mask trophy was awarded to the Queen of Hearts, which was revealed to be Jewel. When The Bull was unmasked, Todrick Hall emerged from the costume to take the second-place spot.

Now a segement in which things can get ugly, but can do things pretty later on.............................

Buzz-GSN where we ask you guys on the Game Show Network Facebook page anything and everything.

https://youtu.be/uxhY1Yg-9sU

Let's start with Linda Sieffert.

My favorite show, America Says, with my favorite team, the Golden Girls! Love re-runs.

Talk about a crossover. Next up, Karen Robinson.

I wish there was more of an assortment of shows on in the evening. I work and would love to see more than ust America Says, even though I enjoy it.

How about some from the Game Show Central streaming channel? That'll give the channel some room. We go on to Monta K. Ballard.

When will there be new episodes of Master Minds, Common Knowledge, America Says and. Catch 21?

Master Minds will kinda likely be in summer because Ken is busy on Jeopardy!. Common Knowledge is up in the air, America Says is casting for a new season and Catch 21.......gone. Next, David Schmuede.

Why can’t you air old episodes of Match Game at night instead of America Says over and over and over and over and over ……….?

Maybe you should go.....to Buzzr. Jeffrey Mulvey has to go next......

I was watching the Match Game marathon on Saturday and couldn't help but notice how much easier it was to win money on that show - as much or more money than is one on the game shows produced these days - without adjusting for inflation! The rules on the recent shows and the difficulty of the clues and questions make it almost impossible for anyone to win anything. An obnoxious, irritating host saying "out of turn - five second penalty!" makes the game even more difficult and these shows even less enjoyable.

Game Shows today. They make their brains become mush under the lights. Ray Plummer will end it.

Currently watching "Tattletales" on Amazon Prime. Just got done watching "Card Sharks" and "The Joker's Wild". Wish that Gameshow Network would bring back some of these classics instead of showing "Family Feud" with "Steve Harvey" for 10 hours every day.

Yep. Agreed.

(song stops)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And it's time for a Mistplay game break. The hedgehog saw the shadow of a mistake that needs to be fixed!

What needs to be corrected? Find out after a love song from Kitty Armistead in the Spotify Soundstage.

Pretty nice. Now the mistake you needed to correct.......The jockey Club governs in England.......Racing. As opposed to NASCAR in America.

All month long, Game Show Live! wants to know what the UK meant to us. It's a look at why the UK is better than the USA. One thing that meant to us is...............

The same guys that gave us The Cube had 2 teams in head to head challenges. It may sound easy but if you take the slow-motion cameras, it'll leave viewers intrigued. Only 6 shows were aired but the show was known for 2d and 3d motion graphics. It made you feel like you were seeing a Superhero movie or an action movie. There was even a quiz in which only one team gets to try for 10,000 pounds. If Discovery+ wants to import this thing, then do it. Really. That's what the UK meant to us. What about you?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Closing Theme

That's it for this week, today's consolation prize is leftover jerseys from The Washington Football Team. They're the Commanders now. Not the Dc Defenders. And please move to Audi Field instead of FedFex Field. That way, they don't want Daniel Snyder to remain there and become an injury haven. You hear that, Lebron James?

Don't forget to email me at kellypierre8@gmail.comcoppockonsports@yahoo.com, Pierre  Kelly on FB and @Johnny_Arcade on twitter. Also I'm on Snapchat as MisterGSN and Instagram as MrJackbox. We will return next Wednesday, and until we return, Play on playas.
