Jeopardy! has welcomed Amy Schneider into its exclusive $1 million club.

On Friday’s episode, Schneider crossed the coveted seven-figure benchmark after notching her 28th consecutive victory. Her total now stands at $1,019,001.

Schneider, who ranks as the game show’s highest-earning female contestant of all time, becomes just the fourth person in Jeopardy! history to reach the milestone.

The only other contestants to pocket more than $1 million in regular season play are current interim host Ken Jennings, whose 74-game streak netted $2,520,700, James Holzhauer, who earned $2,462,216 over the course of 32 victories, and Matt Amodio, who pocketed $1,518,601 during his 38-game rout last year.

“It feels amazing, it feels strange,” said Schneider, the first transgender contestant to qualify for the Tournament of Champions. “It’s not a sum of money I ever anticipated would be associated with my name.”

The CW might get a new majority owner. Fifteen years after the broadcast network’s launch, its co-parents, ViacomCBS and WarnerMedia’ Warner Bros, are considering a controlling stake sale. Nexstar Media Group, which is the CW’s largest affiliate group following its acquisition of Tribune, is believed to be among interested buyers. Sources caution that conversations with multiple suitors are in exploratory stages and no deal is imminent.

The potential sale, first reported by the WSJ, comes amid an ownership change for WarnerMedia, which is being acquired by Discovery pending regulatory approval. None of the architects of the CW, which replaced the WB and UPN in 2006, are still around, most notably former CBS CEO Les Moonves, who was the driving force behind it. Since the CW’s creation, CBS merged with Viacom while WarnerMedia was acquired by AT&T which is now selling it to Discovery.

Hours after news of the potential sale broke Wednesday night, the CW chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz on Thursday morning addressed “recent speculation in the press around The CW” in an internal memo to staff.

“As many of you are aware, over the past year or so, this transformative time in our industry has led to a series of business activity across media and content companies,” he wrote. “Given that environment right now, ViacomCBS and Warner Bros are exploring strategic opportunities to optimize the value of their joint venture in The CW Network.”

He stressed that “it’s too early to speculate what might happen.”

The network currently airs "Penn & Teller: Fool Us", "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", and "Legends of the Hidden Temple".

Netflix has commissioned Bullsh*t The Game Show with America’s Got Talent judge and Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel fronting the series.

The show comes from Nobody’s Hero, the production company set up by Christopher Potts and Jonty Nash — two of the creatives behind Netflix’s Nailed It!

Bullsh*t The Game Show, which is shot in New Mexico, offer contestants a chance to win big money, even when they don’t know the correct answer. Throughout the game, players will work their way up a money ladder either by answering questions correctly or by confidently giving incorrect answers – and persuading others that they are accurate. With a lot of money on the line, in this game you don’t have to be the smartest person in the room to win, you just have to convince everyone that you are.

It is set to launch on the streaming service this summer.

The show was created by Nash and Potts, who have made a name for themselves with brash non-scripted titles such as a dating competition series with Meat Loaf based on his 1993 hit “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)”.

The pair are producing with ITV America, which they have an overall deal with. David Friedman, who has exec produced series including NBC’s Titan Games and Fox’s The Four: Battle for Stardom, is set as showrunner. He exec produces with Nash and Potts as well as ITV America’s David Eilenberg and Simon Thomas. The Voice director Alan Carter helms the series.

The Netflix hit reality dating show Too Hot to Handle is back for a steamy new season with 10 singles that will be put to the test as they attempt to find love during a gorgeous, tropical getaway. Will they truly be “too hot to handle?”.

And we move ahead to a Mistplay game break. Here's a little game we call ourselves........

I'll describe a program and you tell us what show we were watching on the monitors around our offices on Podcast Hill. Ready?

"Private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt join forces with his estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. But when they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken."[6]

Following the resolution of the kidnappings, Jenny joins forces with Cassie to continue the search for the truck driver who escaped, while also dealing with a new mystery. As season two begins, the truck driver is still missing, while Jenny decides to rejoin the county sheriffs and encounters another case of stolen drugs and money.
