Now, America's favorite contestant, Pierre Kelly!

The Double Toasted opening toss up story.

Sky History, the joint-venture UK television channel run by A+E Networks UK and Comcast-owned Sky, has canceled its reality competition series The Chop: Britain's Top Woodworker after questions arose over whether a contestant had Nazi tattoos emblazoned on his face.

A+E Networks UK took The Chop off-air last week pending an investigation into Darren Lumsden's ink. That investigation has concluded that the series cannot return to screens because the symbols on Lumsden's face "could be connected to far-right ideologies and could cause offence."

Prominent among Lumsden's markings is the number 88, which is white supremacist numerical code for Heil Hitler. The carpenter has denied any association with far-right groups and said the 88 symbolizes the year of his father's death. Doubt has been cast over this claim, however, after the MailOnline discovered that Lumsden's father is alive and well.

An A+E Networks UK spokesman said: "Following an independent investigation, AETN UK has made the decision not to broadcast any further episodes of The Chop on Sky History. A contestant's tattoos included symbols that could be connected to far-right ideologies and could cause offence; we sincerely apologise for that and we are sorry that our processes did not prompt further investigation at an earlier stage.

"The contestant continues to strenuously deny that he has, or ever had, far-right leanings. We are thoroughly reviewing our internal processes following the investigation. AETN UK and Sky History stand against racism and hate speech of all kinds."

The Chop producer Big Wheel Film & Television also issued a statement saying that it acted in good faith throughout the making of the Sky History show and cooperated fully with the investigation. "Big Wheel Film & Television acted professionally, appropriately and in good faith throughout the making of The Chop, following robust due diligence and duty of care processes from casting through to delivery," a spokesman said. "All issues, problems and concerns identified in relation to Darren Lumsden's tattoos during production were fully reported up to AETN UK, and the broadcaster's directives and instructions in response were closely followed. Big Wheel Film & Television co-operated fully with the independent investigation put in place by AETN UK, and shared details of relevant processes, discussions and exchanges, along with supporting evidence and documentation.

"Big Wheel Film & Television stands against all forms of hatred and intolerance, is committed to the highest professional standards, and strives at all times to treat people fairly."

Only one episode in the nine-part series aired. The Chop was hosted by comedian Lee Mack, presenter Rick Edwards, and carpenter William Hardie. In a Great British Bake Off-style format, 10 contestants gathered in Epping Forest and aim to whittle, carve and chop their way to success, with their creations furnishing a lavish cabin in the woods.

This December, FOX takes TV's #1 show and adds a little twist. Based on the smash hit FOX series THE MASKED SINGER and inspired by a popular segment featured on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," all-new celebrity competition series THE MASKED DANCER will be hosted by comedian Craig Robinson. Joining the show as panelists are THE MASKED SINGER and I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE'S Ken Jeong, world-famous choreographer and singer Paula Abdul, actor and the former "Giraffe" Mask on THE MASKED SINGER Brian Austin Green and actress and singer Ashley Tisdale.

THE MASKED DANCER will feature celebrity contestants shaking their tail feathers, while covered from head-to-toe in elaborate costumes and face masks, leaving audiences to guess their identities. Costumed celebrities will be joined on stage by masked partners and back-up dancers, as they perform a series of dances together; spanning from hip-hop to salsa, jazz to tap dancing and more. When it comes to dance styles, the sky is the limit.

Each week, a series of clues will be sprinkled throughout packages, costumes and routines, leading the panelists one step closer to figuring out which famous faces are freestyling behind the masks. Between all of the celebrity competitors on the show, they've amassed more than 38 million albums sold worldwide, 20 Emmy(R) Award wins, 20 Grammy(R) Award nominations, 10 World Dancing titles, five New York Times Best-Selling Author titles, four Olympic gold medals and three Broadway show appearances. Guest judges and premiere date to be announced soon.

"We've begun filming THE MASKED DANCER with incredible new talent on both sides of the mask, and can't wait to share the series with viewers," said Rob Wade, President, Alternative Entertainment & Specials, FOX Entertainment. "Craig Robinson is hilarious as always in his role as host, and Ken, Brian, Ashley and Paula are the perfect blend of personalities to lead our awesomely weird world of masks into a whole new genre!"

THE MASKED DANCER is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment and Warner Bros. Unscripted & Alternative Television and is based on the South Korean format, THE MASKED SINGER, created by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp. It's not too early for renovation competition superfans to set their DVRs because HGTV has announced the cavalry of design and renovation experts who will scrutinize finished spaces in the second season of Rock the Block, premiering March 2021. The rotating judges panel will include house-flipping phenom Tarek El Moussa and his real estate agent fiancée, Heather Rae Young, who together will decide which competitive duo creates the ideal kitchen for a potential buyer. Real estate broker extraordinaire Page Turner will judge the living room and foyer transformations. Powerhouse real estate broker Egypt Sherrod and her husband, builder Mike Jackson, will deliberate the main bedroom suite. Designer and restoration specialist Tamara Day will take on the basement renovations, and two fresh faces, interior designer Carmine Sabatella and landscape designer Mike Pyle, stars of the upcoming HGTV series Inside Out, will evaluate the outdoor spaces. The competition culminates with Ken and Anita Corsini as they join incumbent Rock the Block champion, Jasmine Roth, for a final home walk-through before announcing the winning team.

"Every competitor in Rock the Block is in it to win it," said Betsy Ayala, senior vice president, programming and development, HGTV. "And, of course, the judges know well what's at stake when reputations and bragging rights are on the line. No matter what happens in this fierce competition, the audience wins because they get to see the best experts in the home renovation business reimagine and transform perfectly fine spaces into showstoppers."

Season two of Rock the Block, hosted by highly skilled carpenter, craftsman and designer, Ty Pennington, will feature double the star power with eight of the network's brightest home renovation and design experts pairing up to completely transform identical three-story suburban properties in just one month. Rounding out the 2021 Rock the Block partner teams are: home renovator and contractor Mike Holmes (Holmes On Homes) and Chicago's fearless home reno and design expert Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab); designing dads Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent (Nate and Jeremiah: Save My House); HGTV's first Design Star winner David Bromstad (My Lottery Dream Home) with the eighth Design Star winner Tiffany Brooks (50K Three Ways); and the couple who can build and design an entire home in 100 days, Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt (100 Day Dream Home.) With a $225,000 budget and a whole lot of teamwork, the dueling duos hope to win major bragging rights and their names on a street sign.

Fans can access fun content from the first season of Rock the Block on HGTV.com/RocktheBlock including before and after photos and videos, as well as find loads of behind-the-scenes extras. ICYMI on DWTS.............

Jeannie Mai's hopes of winning the Mirrorball have been unexpectedly dashed: The Dancing With the Stars contestant is leaving Season 29 due to an urgent health concern.

As Mai revealed to Good Morning America on Monday, she has been diagnosed with epiglottitis, an inflammatory and potentially life-threatening condition of the throat that can cause swelling and block air to the lungs. She has since been hospitalized to address the diagnosis.

"My doctors discovered a health concern with my throat which requires immediate attention and surgery," Mai said in a statement. "I am heartbroken that my DWTS journey has to end here. I have pushed myself to new limits, physically and mentally, and I am so proud of how far we've come." (Mai was paired with pro dancer Brandon Armstrong, who added that he is "devastated" over their early exit, "but Jeannie's health does come first.")

Dancing With the Stars also confirmed Mai's departure in a tweet on Monday, which read, "Jeannie has inspired us, along with millions of fans, with her energy and dedication. We wish her a full and speedy recovery."

Mai's friends and "DWTS" competitors have not forgotten about her.

"My sweet @jeanniemai," wrote "Cheer" star Monica Aldama, who was eliminated from "DWTS" last week. "Praying for a speedy recovery and complete restoration of health. You were such a light in my DWTS journey…my friend, my show & tell partner and the sunshine that made me smile. Looking forward to reuniting and giving you the biggest hug!"

Mai's dance partner, Brandon Armstrong, said in a video message on "GMA": "We are devastated by the news that we're gonna have to cut this season short, but Jeannie's health does come first. Thank you to all the fans that have helped to get us this far and we are praying for a speedy recovery for Jeannie."

Cheryl Burke and her partner AJ McLean made a video wishing Mai well. "You have been such a light on his show and I will miss having your energy on set," Burke wrote in the caption. "You are in our hearts as you go through this. We love you so much!"

Though tonight's Dancing broadcast (ABC, 8/7c) was slated to end with a double elimination, only one couple will now be sent home due to Mai's premature exit.

Here comes a segment full of rage, emotion and torture......

http://tpirepguide.com/qwizx/gssfx/usa/blockbwhitering.wav

Buzz-GSN where we ask you guys on the Game Show Network Facebook page anything and everything.

https://youtu.be/yj0iG5UN2-E

Karen Chandler will begin.

"I love America Says game show. The host is hilarious. However, I have a suggestion. It seems sad that the winning group can leave with only $1000.00. Could it be considered to award $100.00 for every correct bonus answer."

Another idea the show would've worked out as fine. Next is Joseph M. Rickman, Sr.

"You have a question that was incorrect on Mastermind. Bishi does not mean water chestnut. It means diamond. I was on Okinawa from 1953 to 1955 and stationed at Bishi Gawa (Diamond River) and I also confirmed that the word means diamond on the translation site."

See, sometimes the writers get goofed. We move along to Joanne Saunders.

"Can we please see a really great challenge between The Beast on The Chase and Ken Jennings from Jeopardy and Master Minds???That would truly be a fantastic competition!!!!! Let’s have it, please!!!! And of course let Brooke Burns be the Host!"

Get your popcorn ready. Next up, Doug Carlson.

"my question is about the show America Says; in the show every once in awhile you see the host say out of turn 5 sec penalty but you never see how they came to that conclusion. if they tape new shows could they show the viewing audience how the contestants would even know that they are speaking out of turn. One last thing could you show the board up closer so we can see what answers are left!"

Yep. There's the idea that could've been. Up next, Jerry Norcia.

"It's very discouraging when you don't finish a show and say, "see the answer tomorrow" and then you have a different show on the next day. You just did it again today on "Deal or No Deal. It was exciting and we looked very forward to seeing it. NO SHOW. Actually a different show."

Hmmm. Last up, Don Connors.

"There's a 90-minute Deal Or No Deal airing this afternoon, so what's the over-under on temper tantrums over Match Game getting preempted and thinking it's been replaced, no matter how many times it's explained that this is just something that happens every now and then?"

I have no clue why.

(song stops)

Game Show Live! held a virtual costume contest and after a ton of entries in the mail, we finally picked a winner.........and it is.....................

Ayla Jalyn from California with a Judy Skellington get-up. Madison Brunoehler, what did she win?

https://youtu.be/YRUkdi1EgX0

Madison: She won.... a box full of Nerds candy we got from the Dollar General store. Now it's hard to pick a side, so why not both with Nerds Candy? Back to you, Pierre.

Me: Thanks Madison, you sexy nerd.

(song stops)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now our last story. In a recent study from psycharatrists at Doodle Valley University, 67% of people who listen to top 40 music suffer a short bout of depression from listening to MOR full service stations at work. That's because the format is suited to people who listen to soft rock and adult contempoary/vintage/nostalgia in offices around the nation. The study suggests that every single darn time they listen to the music's tempo or what the chords of the song are, it's because of a possible sadness or low self esteem connected to what the parents listented to..........

Thunderclap

At least they asked their boss to change it to a Dance Hits station because it's..........

90 seconds to talk about how Card Sharks got it right this season  starting from.......

If there was one thing Card Sharks got right this season, it's because of a few things. First of all, the podium section looked even more better like it was last season. If you look at the other classic versions, they did their homework and make it stand out. ALso, they shrinked it to 7 from 10. 10 was too much of a game to handle and also the push rule was added. I'm glad last season didn't have it. The audiences was what made it so wonderful since it came to NBC in 1978, but in 2020, covid-19 didn't need it. So, the contestants have to do it own their own. The money Cards is even better too. If it had not been for the virus, the show would've resurrected a 10-people question inherited from the Eubanks/Rafferty era. But with Card Sharks' new season, it'll be a winning hand.

Closing Theme

That's it for this week. Today's consolation prize is a Cory Booker for President bumper sticker. Hey, he'll be back in 2024.
