The CW Network will officially launch its new season in January 2021 with its regularly scheduled series line-up, while loading up Fall 2020 with fresh original and acquired scripted series and alternative programming, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The CW Network.

"This year, The CW has made the proactive strategic decision to launch its new season in January 2021, rolling out a line-up of our signature returning series which will be joined next year by our four new series, including the return of the DC's most iconic superhero in SUPERMAN & LOIS, the return of the Texas Rangers in WALKER, the reimagined KUNG FU and the rebellious drama THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH. And by moving our new season to January, we are stocking our fall with a balance of original and acquired scripted series and alternative programming that fits The CW brand and provides fresh programming through the fourth quarter," said Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The CW. "In 2021, The CW will have more original scripted programming throughout the year, week in and week out, than we have ever had, fueling our multiplatform ecosystem, which combines linear TV, our best in class AVOD services and unparalleled reach on social media. Additionally, next year, The CW will have full stacking rights to eight series to stream on our free, ad-supported digital platforms." "As we manage the current crisis, we've developed a methodical programming strategy for this year and well in to next that we believe works for The CW, our advertisers, affiliates and audience, while keeping the health and safety of our productions and creative partners front of mind," Pedowitz added.

The magic is back with a new season of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US on Fridays (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) followed by the hit improv series WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? (9:00-9:30pm ET/PT and 9:30-10:00pm ET/PT).

With The CW's new season set for January 2021, The CW has crafted a line-up of fresh programming for the Fourth Quarter 2020, featuring a balanced mix of original and acquired scripted series and alternative programming, including SWAMP THING, TELL ME A STORY, CORONER, DEAD PIXELS, PANDORA, THE OUTPOST, TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES, WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS, MASTERS OF ILLUSION, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? and PENN & TELLER: FOOL US.

After winning the most recent season of ultimate baking brawl Buddy vs. Duff, Buddy Valastro is now judging some of the best bakers from across the country to the test in a nonstop dessert competition on Big Time Bake, premiering on Monday June 8th at 9pm ET/PT.
With only six hours, the competitors must bake creative cookies, decadent cupcakes and a showpiece cake all inspired by a surprise theme. The clock never stops, even during the judging, as Buddy and the guest judges visit each baker's station every two hours to taste and critique their sweets. Buddy and two rotating expert judges, including Nacho Aguirre, Ralph Attanasia, Zoe Francois, Tregaye Frasier, Dan Langan, Lorraine Pascale, Aarti Sequeira, Thiago Silva, and Kristen Tomlan will determine the baker's item on the bottom of the batch and will send them home without finishing their remaining items. It's a battle against the clock!
"The competitors must bake the best cookies, cupcakes, and cakes that not only taste delicious, but also impress Buddy Valastro with the technique and presentation," said Courtney White, President, Food Network. "On top of preparing the desserts, the bakers must strategize to use their time wisely, making Big Time Bake one of the most difficult competitions."
In each of the six hour-long episodes, four bakers along with their assistants must complete cookies, cupcakes and an outstanding cake from scratch in only six hours. The baked goods must fit a special theme, from spellbinding magical confections, to tasty treats that transport the judges to another realm, and to desserts that dive deep into the blue seas. After two hours of the competition, Buddy and the guest judges visit each baker's station to taste the cookies, but time will still be running out so the bakers must continue working during the judging. One baker's cookies will leave them crumbled in the competition and will be eliminated without finishing their other items. At the fourth hour of the competition the cupcakes are due, and time in the competition will run out for the bottom baker. With two bakers remaining and two hours left until the six hours are up, they must rush to finish their masterpiece cakes.
Fans can head to FoodNetwork.com/BigTimeBake for a closer look at the over-the-top cakes, cookies and cupcake creations, as well as learn some of Buddy's best baking tips. Follow the competition and join in on the conversation on social media using #BigTimeBake.

Ever thought you could spot a fib better than a kid? Find out on The Big Fib.
A new Disney+game show, hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown and featuring Rhys Darby as her robot sidekick, C.L.I.V.E. In each episode of this comedy game show, a kid starts by playing a warm up round where a silly liar and an authentic expert share fabulous fibs and fun facts.
Starring up and coming comedic talent, this round is played for laughs as well as always having a nugget of real information about the topic be it ice cream, tree climbing or toy design. Next our kid contestant plays the main round where they question an expert who's paired with a really good liar on the same topic. It's up to our kid to find the fibber.
There are visual clues, fascinating props, a hot seat round of rapid fire questions and various topics, including jellyfish, venom and killer plants.
