And now, the (Nearly) world-famous contestant...Pierre Kelly!

Me: Welcome to Game Show Live! Let's get right into it with.......

The Tubi opening toss up story.

The Guys behind the peacock network is safe from Andy Cohen getting the pink slip. Thar's because......

NBCUniversal will no longer produce first-run syndicated TV programming, ending production of shows like Access Hollywood, Access Live, Karamo and The Steve Wilkos Show in a major strategic shift for the company.

Karamo and Steve Wilkos have both completed production, with the new episodes that have been taped airing through the summer. Access Hollywood and Access Live will continue production through the summer before ending their run.

"NBCUniversal is making changes to our first-run syndication division to better align with the programming preferences of local stations," said Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo & Peacock unscripted for NBCUniversal, in a statement. "The company will remain active in the distribution of our existing program library and other off-network titles, while winding down production of our first-run shows. These shows have provided audiences with great talk and entertainment content for many years and we're very proud of the teams behind them."

Access Hollywood has been in production for nearly 30 years, with its first episode airing in September 1996. Mario Lopez, Kit Hoover, Scott Evans and Zuri Hall are the show's current hosts.

Karamo is hosted by Queer Eye veteran Karamo Brown, and began production in 2022. Steve Wilkos is hosted by Wilkos, the former security guard for Jerry Springer. His show has served as something of a successor to Springer's program, and has been in production since 2007. The two talk shows are produced at NBCU's Stamford Studios facility in Stamford, Connecticut, and the company is expected to vacate the building later in the year.

NBCUniversal has determined that the syndicated studio model is not sustainable, given the preferences of local TV stations, which are programming more local and national news, community-focused programming select national franchises. The decision to essentially shut down syndicated production comes a month after the company announced that The Kelly Clarkson Show would end its run later this year.

Talk shows in general have been coming under both financial and competitive pressure, with rising costs, waning demand and increased competition from other platforms. Video podcasts in particular have filled some of the gap, picking up more celebrity interviews, investigating true crimes and tackling many of the same subjects as their TV predecessors at a fraction of the price.

Access Hollywood, for example, was hit by layoffs last fall in connection with the cancellation of E!'s daily news show.

Still, there is no question that it is the end of an era for NBC, and for entertainment journalism with the end of Access.

The biggest player in the space, CBS' Entertainment Tonight, is still in production, as is Inside Edition and Extra, which is produced and distributed by Warner Bros. The company will continue to distribute its existing program library to stations and other platforms that want it, including titles like Dateline, Law & Order, Chicago PD, Maury, Jerry Springer, Steve Wilkos and Karamo.

And then there was one. Paramount, which three years ago had three SVOD platforms available in the U.S., will soon have only one. Paramount+ will absorb BET+ at the beginning of June, when more than 1,000 hours of BET+ content – originals, movies, and specials – will migrate to the flagship streamer.

The news was just shared internally by BET Networks President Louis Carr in a memo, a copy of which was provided to Deadline by a Paramount spokesperson.

"This powerful next step ensures the stories we champion, the creators we support and the culture we represent go further than ever before," Carr wrote.

The consolidation – part of the new Paramount leadership's effort to gain scale and improve economics in the streaming space – became possible after Paramount bought out Tyler Perry Studios' ownership in BET+, believed to be 25%. Financial details have not been revealed, but Perry's stake had been valued at tens of millions of dollars.

"As part of this evolution, Paramount acquired Tyler Perry Studios' equity stake in BET+," a Paramount spokesperson said in a statement. "We share the same ambition to expand the reach of BET content, and Tyler will continue to be a valued and important partner through his overall programming agreement."

Perry's most recent nine-figure overall deal with BET Media Group, which was announced in 2024 and goes until 2028, has him delivering hundreds of new episodes to BET and BET+ (now Paramount+) across existing and new series. premiere on BET+.

Building on the classic gameplay that has made the series a fan favorite for decades, Season 3 delivers fast paced rounds packed with outrageous clues, wild guesses, and hilarious moments. Fallon executive produces alongside Jeffrey Breeden, who also serves as showrunner. John Quinn is also an executive producer. Hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, along with co-host Zuri Hall, are back to call the action in Las Vegas. New this season is an all new round to the competition featuring a supersized three lane racecourse called the Tripleheader, where ninjas will go head to head to head in high speed, side by side races. The rules are simple: Get a question correct and a green ball will fall down the four-story wall and add the value of the slot to the players' winning total. Miss a question and an ominous red ball will fall and deduct the value from the team's total. Contestants compete in pairs and must blindly trust their loved ones to make the right decisions during the game to accumulate their earnings. Back this season is the high stakes "Wall to Wall" gameplay, tempting players to risk all seven balls for a chance to win big. "The Wall" was developed by Glassman Media in conjunction with CORE Media and produced in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group.

One show that is not on the list is "Yes Chef!". The Martha Stewart/Jose Andres competition has been canceled. The series "blends the high-stakes thrill of a cooking competition with the raw emotion of personal transformation as it delves into the powerful personalities attracted to the chaotic culinary lifestyle," per the official description. It put a dozen "highly skilled yet rebellious chefs, who have been nominated by their bosses, co-workers, friends and even family, through the ultimate test and challenges designed to push their pressure points." Chef Emily Brubaker won the first season's $250,000 grand prize.

Ah, More love for Old Mcdonald.

Love is back in the fields and this time, it's more intimate, more intense and more unpredictable than ever. FOX's hit dating series Farmer Wants a Wife returns for Season Four Tuesday, April 21 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) introducing three new farmers who are ready to put their hearts and their livelihoods on the line in the ultimate search for lasting love.

Hosted once again by actress and New York Times bestselling author Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Season Four strips the experience down to the roots, focusing on fewer farmers and deeper connections as a new group of single women leave behind city comforts for muddy boots, early mornings and the promise of forever.

Farmer Wants a Wife is the most successful dating show in the world, having aired in 32 countries and resulting in 250 marriages and more than 500 children - proof that true love can grow anywhere.

From Midwest cornfields to Southern pastures to a sun-soaked California farm-to-table operation, this season's farmers are the total package: hardworking, heartfelt and undeniably charming. Meet Braden Pridemore, Brett Maverick and Sean Cavanaugh, the farmers of Season Four:
BRADEN PRIDEMORE Age: 26 Location: Homer, IL Occupation: 5th Generation Corn & Soybean Farmer Type of Farm: 3,000-acre operation. A fifth-generation farmer who co-owns and lives on his family's 3,000-acre operation, Braden is looking for a woman who is kind, fun, faith-minded and ready to build a life - and a family - on the farm his grandfather built. When he's not in the fields, he's busy songwriting and playing guitar at local bars.
- BRETT MAVERICK Age: 35 Location: Savannah, TN Occupation: Horse & Cattle Farmer Type of Farm: 1,000-acre farm. A former bull rider, Brett eventually traded broken bones for business suits, building a successful protein bar company as well as a tequila brand. Now, he's back home on his family's 1,000-acre farm, starting his own horse and cattle ranch while searching for a partner to build a legacy rooted in love, loyalty and land.
- SEAN CAVANAUGH Age: 22 Location: Solvang, CA Occupation: Farm-To-Table Produce Farmer Type of Farm: 22-acre produce farm. Sean is a California native with strong roots in both agriculture and hospitality. He works on his family's 22-acre produce farm, growing everything from tomatoes and peaches to figs, kiwis and avocados - all of which supply their beloved farm-to-table restaurant, The Gathering Table, and other eateries across California. Focused, driven and ready for something real, Sean knows exactly what he's looking for in love and life.

For the first time ever, Season Four follows just three farmers, allowing their stories to unfold with more depth, vulnerability and emotional stakes. The result? A season that's more immersive, more romantic and even more hearts break.

Fox has revealed the single ladies vying for the hearts of the bachelors on Farmer Wants a Wife. Hosted by 9-1-1: Nashville's Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Season 4 of the dating series is set to premiere on Tuesday, April 21, at 8 p.m. ET.

The ladies in Sean's Farm are Alibeth, Autumn, Brooke, Carson, Emily, Gabriela, Kamyrn, Macey, and Olivia. The ladies in Braden's Farm are Ana Paula, Brittney, Cameron, Caroline, Carsyn, Casey, Faith, Mackenzie, and Nicolette.

The Traitors will be a fixture on the BBC until at least 2030.

The British broadcaster has signed a three-year deal for the Claudia Winkleman-hosted shows, cementing the format's status as one of the biggest on UK television.

The agreement was announced by Tim Davie, the outgoing BBC director-general, during a valedictory speech to The Royal Television Society on Thursday morning. Sat in the audience were Stephen Lambert, The Traitors' producer, and his boss Jane Turton, who runs All3Media, which was merged last week with Banijay.

Lambert said: "The Traitors has become a genuine television phenomenon across the world, but especially in the UK, and we're thrilled to continue the journey with the BBC."

The BBC's new deal will begin with Season 5 early next year, with a further three seasons planned up until 2030, meaning the show will reach at least Season 8.

The Celebrity Traitors' second season will premiere later this year, with a further three seasons planned all the way to late 2029.

The three-year deals are usually reserved for the biggest entertainment shows on British television. ITV tends to make similar commitments to Britain's Got Talent, for example. The Celebrity Traitors was the highest-rated show in the UK last year, averaging nearly 15M viewers. The finale's audience of 15.4M made it the best-performing entertainment episode in Britain in nearly a decade, according to the BBC.

The Traitors deal was overseen by Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment commissioning for the BBC. The executive producers for Studio Lambert Scotland are Mike Cotton, Sarah Fay, Lewis Thurlow, and Darrell Olsen. The commissioning editors for the BBC are Neil McCallum and Michael Jochnowitz.

Created in the Netherlands by IDTV, an All3Media company, The Traitors format was further developed with the RTL Creative Unit and originally produced by IDTV for RTL4. All3Media International is global partner for The Traitors and handles format and tape sales worldwide.

Well-loved broadcaster Daniel Faitaua has been revealed as the host of Celebrity Tipping Point New Zealand, a new local version of the popular quiz show set to air later this year.

The primetime celebrity edition will see notable Kiwi personalities take on the show's signature coin-pusher machine in a bid to win money for their chosen charities.

Faitaua, a long-time TVNZ journalist and presenter, will guide contestants through the fast-paced quiz format. Players answer general knowledge questions to earn counters which drop into the arcade-style machine in hopes of pushing prizes over the edge.

"You can't underestimate how much we as a nation love quizzing and to once again be invited back into your homes and family time to test your general knowledge is such a privilege," Faitaua said. "Expect a show that's livelier, more Kiwiana, with a surprise or two. I'm so excited and can't wait to get stuck in."

Each episode will see three celebrity contestants go head-to-head, using their counters in the machine to trigger prizes and mystery rewards that could change the outcome of the game.

Celebrity Tipping Point NZ will be produced by Screentime New Zealand. The 10-part series is set to screen on TVNZ 1 and TVNZ+ later this year, with the celebrity lineup and premiere date yet to be announced.

The Floor is returning April 8 on Fox, and they just announced a "game-changing twist."

The Rob Lowe-hosted game show features 100 contestants standing in squares with their expert category attached to it. Picked by a randomizer, contestants then face off with a category of their choosing that is connected to them. Whoever conquers the whole floor by the end of the season win $250,000.

Ashley Washburn won Season 4 and shared how the twists, including America's Duels, the golden square, and the time boosts, all affected the game.

In May 2025, Fox announced that The Floor would return for Season 4 and Season 5. Season 5 of The Floor will premiere on Wednesday, April 8, with a two-hour premiere at 8/7c.

In the exclusive clip, linked below, Lowe shared that Season 5 has a"game-changing twist."

Whichever contestant wins the most duels will have their spots on the floor frozen. It's called the territory freeze, and it's new for this season. Although the twist wasn't explained fully, the trailer said: "Freeze the Floor, Control the Game."
